Bistro serves huge helpings at reasonable prices. Pizzas, seafood, chicken and garden salad all delicious. All food items can be phone ordered for takeaway and picked up at reception. Large dining room was full when we arrived, so we took advantage of the extra seating outside the bistro. Very warm and cozy on a freezing night. Mon- Thurs food specials and Fridays meat raffle.

Was recommended The Club for dinner.
Ordered Rump special and Satay Wings.
The meals were absolutely delicious, very generous servings. It was busy night but meals were delivered in a reasonable time by very friendly staff. Great value.

Absolute waste of time. "Mexican burrito bowl" listed as a Special but the fact they feel the need to stipulate that a burrito is Mexican is probably telling. The fact that a burrito bowl has "mini tortillas" in it is just f#$@ing absurd.

I was happy to see they had a burrito bowl on the menu as it seemed like a good choice for someone that's gluten intolerant. The fact that it has "mini tortillas" should have been an easy fix but the young boy that served me seemed completely clueless about what a tortilla is and what gluten is. After he came back from asking the chef some very limited questions based on his misunderstandings I just ordered a bowl of chips.

I've been driving all afternoon and haven't eaten much. Pretty much nothing else open in Yass to get a feed after 6pm on a Monday so good luck to you if you take your chances here.

Garlic cheese pizza was dripping in oil, and the kids nachos was a plate of crumbs topped with a spicy chunky onion and capsicum sauce
Really disappointed and being new to Yass won't be back.

Got a takeaway for dinner on our way home to Sydney. It was burnt & the greasiest, most disgusting meal I have ever had. Even the cardboard box it came in was oozing oil. Inedible "Oriental Plate"

Lovely cool environment on a 40C day. Beer excellently served. Food was amazing value and very tasty, we had to take a doggy bag home! I had buffalo wings (so many) and wedges and my wife had yummy bangers and mash.

Food is fairly decent in the bistro and large portions, atmosphere is nothing special but that's also a good selling point, not being a pub means you get a bit more peace and quiet. Beer garden is big enough although could use a couple more tables/chairs. Giant screen opposite the bar is cool.

Biggest downside, no postmix soft drinks at the bar, I had my coke poured out of a can :(

Came in for a quick bite with family, meals are generously portioned and decently priced. Nothing fancy but delicious, filling and done right.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming. One of our orders were lost in the system and they forgot to cook it. When we asked to cancel, they provided a refund and gave the meal free of charge.
Toilets were clean and hygienic.
Would definitely recommend for those looking to rest up and fill up!

The food was better when last we were here,possibly chef changes due to covid, as has occurred in other businesses. Still staff assisted to the greatest degree to ensure we were happy with the outcome, will definitely be back and dine again . Free caravan parking for 3 vans in the rear of the car park, very conveniently located.

I had the crispy Barramundi $29, it was good. I didn't check before and realised they only had potatoes to go with it, would be nicer and more balanced if they include vegies. The roast of the day $18 was plentiful and meat was tender, balanced but lacking in flavour unfortunately. The dessert was great $8.50.

Food - Here's the photo of my burnt, dry $22 schnitzel and twice cooked chips. I tried to eat it but just couldn't. At least the veggies were fresh. The waitress was very nice and offered us a free dessert to make up for the terrible cooking.

Bar - Bar staff served me a zero alcohol beer when I asked for a Heineken. I realised when I got back to our dinner table what she had done so I went back to the bar to exchange the full beer and was told no refund. A male staff member asked her did she tell me it was non alcoholic and she just shrugged and said "nah, but I still can't refund it because it's open". Pretty poor form when we just spent eighty dollars on dinner.

We definitely won't be coming here again.

Excellent place for a beer and food, beer is clean crisp and cold. Food was delicious plentiful and excellent value, do yourself a favour and visit here.
The receptionist is also incredibly helpful and does an excellent job to help everyone and support her workplace.

Had vomiting for the first time I went this place for a meal. Would never ever go back. The food is not clean in their kitchen. I hope they should improve that as being a club in NSW. Because I think most club foods are clean and safe. But very disappointed for this club's food are not clean. Had bad vomiting straight after the dinner last week. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Awesome. Ordered crumbed lamb cutlets takeaway and the shepherds pie. Both were to die for. Ordered and in no time it was delivered to our motel. Very fresh. Lady doing the orders calm and collected and extremely friendly, very friendly. Needs a huge pay rise

Why is Mick the entertainment in the corner and the poker players front and center? Apart from this total failure the club is excellent. The food is amazing.

Great feed at a great price. We are just passing through town and saw the menu in our hotel room and decided to give it a go. Definitely not disappointed. Chicken parmy and schnitty we cooked to perfection. Sauces were good, chips were nice and crispy.
If I'm back in Yass, I'll be eating here again ??'?

OMG!!!!! WHAT A HIDDEN GEM!!!! I just happen to go there for dinner, driving all the way from Canberra, to see a friend on his way to Sydney (from Victoria) and couldn't believe how excellent the food was...service is FIVE STAR - and even better, we bombed into some celebrities, never expected in a quite town like Yass!! Highly recommended!! Travelling across the country...make sure you stop here...hell, it's worth driving to this place just to have dinner and be greeted by smiling faces - just excellent!

My wife said it was the best Roast of the Day she's had in years. My outsize pork chop was great too! Good service considering they were very busy, plenty of room at the tables and not as noisy as most restaurants.

Enjoyed our adult main meals. However had 3 grandsons with us. The boys had 2 sausage and mash kids meals and one had a cheeseburger and chips. The kids sausage meals were pathetic having one smallish sausage and a small amount of mash. Totally insufficient for a kid. The cheeseburger was a good size. Beware of your kids meals order.

Decent sized bistro meals at an expected price point. Huge TV in the main bar, clean toilets and friendly staff. A good place to waste an hour charging your car across the road.

Quiet but pleasant great meals will go there again

Made Yass our roundtrip stop and SO glad we did. Caught the Courtesy Shuttle to the Club, watched the footy on an awesome HUGE screen. Dinner was amazing. Crumbed cutlets and fillet steak which were both sooo delicious with fresh veg and yummy mash. Caught the Courtesy Bus, driven by Robert, (the General Manager!) back to our motel. Seriously good night out in Yass.

Had a beautiful lunch meal at this club. I personally didnt enjoy the roasted lamb meal but in total had a good time for couple of hours. Staff are providing best customer service ever.

Had a lunch on Saturday while on the way back from Melbourne. Lamb cutlets with chips and salad. Very generous serving. All the food was spot on. Polite service. Was nice and quiet. Price very reasonable.
