Exactly what I expected for a tavern meal.
Situated right on the water, with great views. The playground for the kids is adjacent to the dining area but not fenced on that side (be careful supervising if you have munchkins prone to bolting). Staff actively encourage you to use the QR code on the table to order - but there's a significant fee to use this service. You can order near the bar and pay cash or EFT (with a surcharge for the latter, about 0.6%) - just make a mental note of your table number (there's too many tables to just point at yours!)
Pricing was reasonable for the food quality, service and location. My entree was oysters with a Jalapeņo and Lime mignonette - excellent, complementary flavours. My main was the 1KG pot of mussels with chilli, garlic, white wine in a tomato broth. Mussels were well cooked, with plenty of garlic. A little one dimensional with the tomato flavour overpowering everything except the garlic flavour. The supplied mini baguette was a bit of a let down being incredibly dense in texture.
Service not exactly warm but not poor either. Drink pricing is reasonable.
