We very much enjoy dining at the Wynter Tavern. It is a relaxed, friendly environment, depending on day and time it can be noisy but this just adds to the atmosphere.
The staff couldn't be more friendly - they are fabulous.
Meals are always delicious and often more than I can eat - but you can take leftovers home with you. I've seen many people get takeout meals as well. Price on meals is extremely reasonable.

A great family restaurant or to have a celebration or get together with friends.

We will be back there again tonight celebrating a birthday.

My beautiful friends, Mary & Peter took myself and Michael our other good friend out to lunch there today, an absolutely gorgeous Tavern, a lot of people were there having lunch which told me the meals must be good and surpass my expectations, I had the pork belly and it was to die for and I recommend anyone in this area to have a meal there, the place is beautiful and clean with friendly staff and a chef that is a chef, I'm going back there as my friends, Thankyou Wynter Tavern for a great place to eat and sit and have a drink or 2 ??

What a busy place! A testiment to its popularity and food quality. We arrived 7pm and were lucky to get a table for four. Had small fries and onion rings to share to start. Then kids had ribs and bolognaise... both were amazing value with ice cream afterwards. Us adults had chicken schnitzel with boscaiola sauce (mash & vege), and belly pork. Both were really delicious and we struggled to finish it. Portions were very generous. Definitely recommend.

Lovely food, nice staff and a clean, cozy yet modern feel. This is the nicest food in the Manning Valley. Period. No other restaurant or club comes close! We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Thank you so much!

The chefs were amazing. They were happy to accomodate my annoying dietary needs. Sometimes it's easier to stay home but they made me feel very welcome.

The creamy garlic prawns will set you back $30 but don't expect real garlic or real cream it tasted like a out of packet white sauce, Also the Karaage chicken bites are not Karaage at all it's just chopped up basic schnitzel pieces and had zero flavour definitely not marinated or covered in the correct batter. The chips however were really tasty and the only extremely friendly attentive staff was the guy in the bottle-o section. Overall pretty lacking and over priced.

Food was absolutely delicious, not oily, well made and generous servings. Service was a bit slow, but the place was very busy! Lots of seating to choose from and awesome decor! Lots of menu choices!

It nice they have updated it since I've been here last time about 10 Years ago food was nice service good they have a great playground for the children a nice outdoors area to as well so you can watch your children in the playground that is a great improvement and inside is very nice as I said WoW WoW how nice it was

We had a great time there and will visit next time we visit
all Positive feed back from me would recommend going there and they have Ramp for wheelchairs ?? as well that's a Plus for disabled access

Beer was good, food was pretty bland, garlic prawns were definitely not very garlicky.

Had a group of 17 and the food was great for everybody! Ribs were flavoursome, Barramundi was cooked perfectly, the burger was juicy and kids all had hot servings of their choices.

Eating on the balcony on a Saturday afternoon is the place to be in Taree!

Our food was pretty good, but my Sister and her Boyfriend got food poisoning from the Calamari.

We had the Roast pork for lunch when they have buy one meal get one free on Monday's. Good size meal and very nice

Sunday roast. Presentation 5/5, generous serving. Pork could've been a little more tender and whole meal would've been nice piping hot. Affordable menu with indoor and outdoor seating. You would need to be proactive signing up as a member to get additional discounts.

The food is mostly similar to most places in Taree but they do it better. I'm disappointed about the lack of choice in Taree however I'm a regular at the Wynter because the kitchen and chefs try harder.

4 out of 5, which is relative for Taree.

Looks like we will be changing our venue to eat after what we had to listen to when we went there to dine. If I could give the hotel a minus I would but anyway we will find another dine out spot where we feel comfortable

Had a apologies from head chef Cam for a bad booking experience from my wife ringing up to make a booking for a personal apologies we appreciate it. As it was a different person who gave us a bad experience and for him to take full responsibility for all staff to address issues better we will be returning.thank you Cam Great food and excellent customer service.retaining customers is essential in any hospitality industry.

We've been to Wynter tavern a few times now. The food is GREAT! Really solid american/Australian pub food, generous portions for a good price. Not super cheap, but its not your regular pub bistro style food. It's pretty crowded, but we didn't have to wait for too long at all. The front isn't super accessible, a fair few stairs, but maybe there's a hidden ramp somewhere? Plenty of parking, but the car park isn't lit up too well. Staff are friendly, they have live music and a good vibe. Front bar is a bit squishy with covid sign ins and the drink line, but the tables aren't too crowded in the eating area. Good selection of beers on tap as well as the usual stock of bottled drinks. Play area for the kids!

Much better since its open, clean and cozy indoor seating, the outside is fine but bring sunglasses because their large constantly on sport TV will blind you come ad break. Food decently priced, not much of a variety but they include all your pub favourites. Unfortunately wait time on busy nights is about an hour and a half, had a few cold meals, but other than that, a good night out.

We often come to eat at this bistro for several reasons.
1) we own a service dog that is very well behaved, that comes everywhere with us and we have NEVER had one problem with anyone that works there! SERVICE DOGS WELCOMED (which is hard to find these days)
2) absolutely stunning wait staff, bar attendants, kitchen hands and chefs! Always made to feel welcome by chef cam who has gone above and beyond for us all!
3) beautiful food In a beautiful space!
We as a family often take friends and other family members here on a regular basis and would highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone and everyone xxxx

Great meals, good atmosphere. Only complaint steak was meant to come with veggies and came with salad instead.

The food there is amazing it's very modern and it's so pretty there food are amazing I recommend having desert there

Nice makeover of this Hotel. Very large, tasty meals. Worth a visit.

We went for dinner ( 3 adults and 5 under 14)and it didn't disappoint. Pleasant outdoor area with plenty of room to keep social distancing. Large parking area close to entrance.

Very happy, very full belly. Kids serves a bit big and prices reflect that. Service was friendly. Very tender pork roast, potatoes undercooked. Definitely go back.
