My Son Gifted Me and his Brother this Christmas Lunch at the Tavern as two years ago we had a Wonderful Experience,this time it was a very poor experience as we were put in the sportsbar with no air conditioning,ceiling taped up everywhere with water droplets,I was even asked if an elderly couple could sit with us,WHAT???the food was nice but to be put in that poor situation sweating profusely costing my Son $220.00 was disgusting,we ate and certainly didn't eat $220.00 worth,and we left straight after,on leaving I entered the other room where it was definitely air-conditioned,if I had of known I wouldn't have gone there,you may want to check your outdoor area where smokers are not supposed to be smoking,wouldn't hurt to smile either or don't be there!

Great place to eat. The food is always nice. The male waiter is awesome, very attentive, polite. He is everywhere, behind the bar, serving food, greeting customers, answering questions, clearing tables. He is so attentive. I get the same service in high end restaurants. This fellow is an absolute plus for this venue.

Pretty average experience. Went here for lunch and it was very quiet. One staff member was very friendly that greeted and sat us at our table. The person that delivered our food was having a bad day. Food was adequate for a pub meal, nothing amazing.
