I recently held my daughter's 21st birthday at Wynnum Tavern and what an absolute cracker of a night!
A huge thank you to Abi, the Functions Manager, who was nothing short of amazing. From the planning right through to the big night, she had everything under control and made the whole experience stress-free. Honestly, if organising parties was an Olympic sport, Abi would be bringing home gold.
The staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive and always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble, and the service was outstanding all night.
The food was a massive hit. The wings and ribs disappeared faster than my daughter\'s teenage years! Guests were raving about the food all night. The complimentary tea and coffee station was also a winner with the older crowd.
The music was spot on and kept the atmosphere buzzing all evening.
The biggest compliment we can give is that we enjoyed it so much we came back again on Monday for my daughter\'s actual birthday. We stopped in for a few drinks and to have a slap on the pokies, and once again the staff were fantastic.
Thank you again, Abi, and the entire Wynnum Tavern team for helping make my daughter\'s 21st so special. Great food, great service, great people and a memorable night from start to finish.

We had such an amazing experience. Right from the onset Rob our bartender greeted us with the friendliest greeting. Ordering our meal was such a breeze and even though we changed items within our meals, nothing was a hassle with him. Our meals came out and may I tell you they were mouth watering from them being put infront of us till the very end. We felt like we were actually wanted.
We walked out feeling amazing from both the relaxed atmosphere, great food and exceptional service. We will definitely be back.

I visited this place in March 2024. The bartender was a really nice guy, and I truly enjoyed my time here. It's a peaceful spot with a great crowd. I definitely recommend visiting!

Great food had to wait a while to get served having said that it seemed the young man was running the sports bar, bistro and gaming room himself. Turned out the meal was well worth waiting for I had the black Angus steak and half rack of ribs chips and salad, the steak and ribs were so tender and absolutely delicious I\'m visiting for work until Friday and will be going back every night until I leave. Seriously do your taste buds a favour and have a meal here you won\'t regret it.
