Welcoming and friendly service after a bad experience in another local pub.
Decided to dine in ..... Melbourne Bitter on tap!! Locally sourced Crumbed Lamb cutlets were delightful!
Will be back for sure.

Parking is decent. The atmosphere is lacking. Staff are friendly. Menu is small and lacking. The service was quick.

Wouldn't come back. But not awful.

Went there on the 9th September for our anniversary dinner ordered cutlets first one was fine but as I bit into the second one it was off causing me to heave. I brought it to the attention of staff who gave me the choice of a refund or another meal I chose to get another meal and discussed with the staff member about there seafood basket.
I asked her to check with the kitchen if the fish was flathead and my husband said to her I don't like flathead or any other strong fish. The seafood basket was ordered and when I cam to eat the fish I instantly knew it was flathead and gave it to my husband who confirmed that.
I then raised that with the staff member who said she didn't speak to the kitchen but on her opinion that fish was not that strong
which I disagree.
She said the best she could do was a free drink I felt as the night was ruined I should have been refunded she said there was no manager on.
I went back the next day and saw a manager who said as my meal was replaced there was nothing she could do

We had 2 adult meals and 4 children's meals. All meals were delicious and delivered fresh and hot to the table. The complimentary kids packs were a great way to keep the kids entertained and seated happily! Staff were welcoming and offered help woth carrying drinks etc to the table without me having to ask. Enjoyed our dinner out very much!

Very nice Pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Oh did I mention that the food is beautiful, so tasty cooked to perfection.

Super tasty Beef burger that comes with bacon and cheese on it plus the best hot chips on the side. Only $18. Worth every single cent and more, Definitely going back next week.

Called in for a lunch twice in the last three days. It's a good pub in a nice country town.
We had a Vietnamese crunchy noodle salad with s&p squid plus lamb cutlets - both were great. A couple of days later, we were back for bangers & mash and more cutlets! Great food at great prices.
The staff do a very good job and it's fantastic to see keen young people working in the holidays. I highly recommend this place and we'll be back.

After enjoying an awesome stay in Tumut where we decided to visit all the Pubs for a meal (and the compulsory ale ) our favourite by far was the Woolpack - the service and meals far exceeded all the others! It was so good we decided just to stay after shopping Wynyard Street and coming back from fishing trips! Thank you to all the staff! ???-

Ordered the chicken parmigiana. You get a thick schnitzel, topped with ham, tomato sauce and melted mozzarella. It comes with salad, chips and mushroom sauce (other choices possible). The cook here knows how to do it right. And the pub is pricing it right ($26). Came out looking impressive and tasted perfect. This is the place to be if you are local or just passing through Tumut. Left this pub feeling very satisfied. Must visit again.

Wicked dinner! Wedges for an entree and we had the pork belly with veggies plus chicken schnitzel which were both cooked to perfection! Great pub meal if looking for a quick feed ??'?

We highly recommend the Woolpack Hotel for its dinners.
The meals are well prepared and excellent value. We had an ideally cooked T-bone - the size of a child's head, perfectly prepared pork belly, with a chef's special recipe mustard sauce and the kids pasta meals were a generous size and the boys rated them as delicious.

Lovely lunch . Epic T-bone steak ! My crumbed cutlets were a little over cooked and lacked flavour.
Large portions and good prices.
Food came out fast.

Friendly staff cold beer and good food. Had mixed grill and could not finish it as so much food, great value.

Busy pub in main street.
Street fronting outside drinking area was very popular.
Had a very nice Bowl of curried sausages,veg and mash for dinner.

Pleasant country pub with plenty of undercover outdoor seating.

The Woolpack Hotel went above and beyond to ensure our event lunch was a huge success. Working with us to provide a great menu. Meals where all delicious and timely. All the group said they would return when in the area again

Food was tasty but portion size was very small. Disappointing to pay over $20 for a chicken Parma and leave feeling hungry.

Came away tonight from the Woolpack very disappointed. I ordered a chicken schnitzel with creamy prawn topping. The meal arrived with my chicken drowning in melted butter and my creamy sauce had split/curdled, I took one bite from my meal and had to spit it into my serviette. Don't serve a meal if you wouldn't eat it yourself!

Outstanding service! The publican was incredibly friendly and the wait staff were great. Food came quickly and the Parmi was delicious! Homemade crumb with herbs with a tasty salad and crunchy chips. Coming back for sure
