I live locally regularly enjoyed coming to this pub, however, their recent lack of communication has left me not wanting to return.
I booked a table for some drinks on Christmas Day (bookings were fully open and confirmed via two automated emails). I turned up on Christmas Day to realise the pub wasn't open. I totally understand pubs not being open on Christmas Day, however, it was the fact I had booked and had numerous confirmation emails (albeit automated). Was no one checking the system ahead of time? All my details were on the bookings, so I would've appreciated a call or an email to let me know they were going to be shut as this impacted Christmas Day for my friends and I.
I have since tried to email them about this numerous times, left DMs and commented on their Instagram posts to no response:
Pretty disappointed as I really enjoyed coming to this pub - good food and a good vibe, just a shame they haven't responded to a regular customer. It doesn't really align with the local image they push. ??
