The Wicklow has an extensive menu that ranges in price. All our meals were tasty. We will definitely be back.

Poor! Brought to attention of staff and manager failure to follow laws set by liquor and gaming NSW. I bring my family here and I'm extremely disappointed that the manager screamed in my face and didn't acknowledge anything mentioned. I would avoid. Customer service is dismal! Go up the road....not impressed! From reading previous reviews it's always someone else's fault (great Aussie trait) failure of the beaurocrats that own this pub!

Whenever we come to Armidale, we always go here a couple of nights to have their dinner specials. Excellent value for money, steaks are a good meal too. Good have a better wine list

My sister and I were travelling through to Newcastle and stopped in for a meal. Fast efficient service.
The hotel and restaurant staff could not have been more accommodating.

Staff in the Bristol / food area could use a solid attitude adjustment and perhaps some retaining in effective customer service.

Friendly staff, average prices. Meal quality really quite poor. Pulled beef nachos had very little cheese and were subsequently very dry. Chicken schnitzel had very little flavour and I think were processed from a factory, not made in house. Chips were very undercooked, and I witnessed other people's plates going out, also with very undercooked chips. All kids meals served with fruit, my son's pasta didn't come with fruit. The Royal Hotel and The White Bull is just up the road. Go to one of those.

Often come here never had a moment to take a pic... amazing patrons, great food. Ambient is quiet good. Loved everything about our food. Time taken to prepare was just right. I frequent the establishment and I would recommend you do to. Amazing time I often have here. I am diary and gluten free so dietary restrictions wasn't that bad at all

The outside of this pub is really attractive so we wanted to see what the inside is like. The inside is clean but in need of a revamp and is really showing it's age. The menu gave a good selection of pub favs and was well cooked. The parking is limited to side streets which makes it hard for those who find walking a challenge.

Walked in for a quick pint after a long days driving. The smell of cigarette smoke was very strong as there was someone smoking whilst playing the pokies.

Obviously two people were in for lunch because their plates remained on the table the whole time I was there. Also used glasses still on the tables.

Barmaid was more interested flirting with the guys playing pool.

The food is overpriced and awful. Its a pub and you expect pub food but this is low quality and yet costs more than other local pubs without perks like an included drink.
There was an overpowering air-freshener smell inside.

On the upside, the staff were friendly and the outdoor area is a plus on a nice sunny day.

Had a fantastic steak lunch. The meal was superb and big enough to feed 2 people! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning.

A cool little pub right in Armidale. Had a few drinks upstairs in the sun overlooking the park and oval.. then went downstairs to the Japanese for dinner! Had a fun night ??

Best pub food I've had for a while. Loved the pumpkin and Halumi salad and the taste of the beef brisker was awesome. Will go again for sure

Had the eye fillet and it was amazing, cooked to perfection, well priced and a good serving of chips! Very neat and tidy with friendly staff.

We had a large gathering of kids & adults on a busy night, the menu was great a good selection, service was extremely fast I couldn't believe it!! The kfc drive through was slower service!!! I had 2 adults & 3 kids to feed & it took less than 10 minutes for the food to arrive(wow) food was cooked perfectly, great tasting & good size portions . Definitely recommend you eat here

Great pub! we could take our small foxie there in the beer garden for a beer !

Was so happy they had a fryer dedicated to gluten free cooking which meant my coeliac husband could have chips, as well as the tender salt n pepper calamari. All our meals were generous and delicious.

Not the hotel owners fault but air con wasnt working ...being in a room with no heating for near 6 hrs at Armidale Winter time isnt an experience I want to repeat!!!!

Happily accommodated with vegan nachos that easily fed two - had a hint of Indian spice that was just wonderful. Cocktail didn't blow me away, but it was easy to drink. Love the wedges. Nice setting as well.
