Always nice food and good service at this pub. A great place to share a meal with family when I visit Warrnambool.

Delicious meals, perfect serving sizes, friendly and helpful staff. My partner and I had the lamb shoulder braised in ale with sweet potato mash and root vegetables and the crispy crackling pork belly with scallops and slaw. The food was so good and perfectly cooked. I would have liked to see another choice or two in the way of craft beers on tap or even in the fridge however. Coopers pale ale and coopers xpa aren't bad but for the more seasoned craft beer drinker like myself it wouldn't be my first choice. Despite this I definitely recommend The Whalers Hotel and will return next time I'm in Warrnambool.
