I had lunch at Newcastle West today. The Blackened Rib steak was melt-in-your-mouth yum. Chips and salad were great too.

What a great experience we had tonight. Dinner was great value for money. The service was great, we didn't have to wait very long for our meals and we got free parking when spending $20. Definitely recommend.

Staying at the motel and have spent a fair bit of time her over the last few days. Food is good. Great quality and potions and a reasonable price. Bar super expensive $4.80 for a can of coke.

I went tonight to have a special dinner with my brother as I live interstate & don't get to catch up often but we were so disappointed with the food as the garlic bread was burnt and dry and no butter on it. The cauliflower pieces had black parts on them and all the vegetables were still hard and could be barely cut let alone eat them. I went to politely explain to one of the chefs the issues and he was very rude. So I then spoke to a lovely lady who sorted the problem out and I really appreciated that. Thanks so much

Staff were amazing. We were there over Easter on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for both dinner and drinks and Sunday we were in and out from the afternoon and back at night.
Service was amazing everytime and our group was happy to come back every day.
Food service at the bistro was great.
They catered well for large groups. Manager was awesome when I advised him how many people would potentially just rock up for drinks on the Sunday night, he ensured he had enough staff and they did an amazing job at serving a few hundred people until 2am.
We will be back in town for the next contest in June and look forward to visiting again.

Wanted to take advantage of happy hour $4 drinks and mistakenly assumed it applied to all tap beers. Not so. Wish they would make it clear. Ordered a superdry and charged full price. Not HAPPY.

I like this club. Food is reasonable and good member specialise too like a pint is $6.50

This venue was very quite and eery, no atmosphere. Very dead for a Friday night. Salmon fish cakes had no flavour and the salad wasn't fresh, avocado was mushy and brown. Could not eat it. Took meal back and ordered a pizza instead, no offer of refund or replacement from staff. Pizza was good. Partner had sausage and mash, mash was from a packet. Would not recommend eating here unless you get the pizza.

Went there after some late night drinks and the place was so clean, everything was spotless and bar staff where friendly and helpful with drink choice.

booked a table for 12 at mayfield. i arived without a licence and the rest ofthe family were at the table having drinks. the marshal at the desk couldnt make an exception fo me. had to leave and find a table for 12 at 7 oclock on saturday. my grandson (birthday boy) was very disapointed. very bad experiance

Amazing food staff and food I would rate you 5. BUT the bar staff and service really needs adjusting ... no personality what so ever... no cocktails to offer... without us here there would be nobody else ... nice venue though

Great pokie room drinks were OK priced 7.80 for rum and Coke, would be cheaper if you are a member also, great central location to my hotel actually won also which was a bonus

What a breakfast $15 has to be the best in Newcasle, staff were nice too.

Nice place , there for a 70th food was great , the drinks a bit expensive for a club but on the overall nice place .

They need to up the anti on the meals as it left little to be desired i have no need to eat a meal that was less then standard when covid hit. Get it back together boys , the staff are warm and friendly but watch the kitchen we older people dont want to pay for reheated food becase u cook it ahead.Fussy with what i pay for on my pension and only having a meal a day with fruit i want to totaly enjoy what i pay for . May have been a bad day for the chef.Shouldnt happen at a club of the standard i'm use to for many years

Restaurant staff were fantastic! Really good.Bar staff not great.Kingston bar was a great scene but bar was closed. Which was disappointingWould be a great place to watch footy if we could hear it.

Like the Christmas Nuts Roast,its quite a rare and unique dish for vegetarians and vegans. The other food (fish and chips) is nice and not smells fishy. Nice desserts with ice cream on the sides . The prices are a bit pricey , maybe its due to Christmas Day 25th Dec 2020.Friendly staffs and Clean too

Really nice atmosphere and the food was fantastic, I do recommend getting there sooner than later if you want a seat.

Great facilities, relaxing atmosphere and nice decoration.
The food was very bad and over priced for non members. $32 for a very low quality steak + $4.6 for a can of cock, $18 for a burger that was made with a cheap pettie and unbeatable bun. For the first time my kids didn't finish their chips!
