Wednesday night is Parma night great value for money thick and juicy chicken schnitzels

Have been to many RSLs over the years and liked them. Don't normally head out this far north of Melbourne so was pleased to discover this place.
Watsonia was maintaining a good standard in food (I had a chicken parmigiana) and service (friendly, efficient). Prices were around the same mark you might expect at a pub. (Does help a bit if your dining companion is a member of the RSL)
Saturday afternoon was busy without being crowded. Our group of 2 had no trouble getting a table as a walk in.
Recommend it.

Great meal and friendly staff. We will certainly be back. The seniors' meals, main and dessert were like a normal sized meal, not tiny like a lot of places seem to do. A 2 course Senior's meal was . Excellent value. The rump steak was 'melt in your mouth,' as was the Ceylon Chicken Curry.

The only downside is the fact that at the moment, due to the North East tunnel works it is chaotic to find parking.

We really enjoyed.

Very nice menu, the gnocchi was excellent. Went back 2 days later and had a parmigiana which was also very good. A colleague had the steak and said it was one of the best cooked steaks he's had.

Tuesday night's trivia are a hoot, meals are awesome.
Had the garlic bread with cheese for entre and 300gm porterhouse steak with chips and salad.
Cold beer and cider on tap even Canadian club.
Lovely surroundings and friendly staff.
