Great club, good walk but not too taxing.

Golf here is very popular and affordable. Friendly staff and I recommend playing a round here if you've never been.

Good and challenging golf course. Course well maintained. Very friendly staff.

Years ago I had a lot of trouble at this course. Mainly the attitude as everyone thought they were Royal Melbourne. I am pleased to say in the last couple of years the attitudes have relaxed and it is a much more friendly place to visit for a meal and a game.

Nicely set up golf course but The course was very wet so a little disappointing will come back to play when dry and sure to enjoy

Great place for lunch and staff are great!

The course is quite challenging at times and would recommend a cart if you are going to play. The front 9 doesn't finish at the club house so either cart it around or be prepared to walk. Overall a great course.

What a magnificent golf course. Reminiscent of an early Donald Ross design. Greens are brilliant. Green staff need to be commended as does Adam in the well stocked pro shop. He is a wonderful fellow. Great job.

I dont normally leave bad reviews unless there really bad so heres my experience at Waratah Golf Club. Rang the bro shop to ask to get in 9 holes in the afternoon the response was "no comps on" and hanged up on. The next week i had booked 18 and a cart with my father. Returned the carts and was asked if i had damaged the cart? very strange. Worst service ever very blunt and passive aggressive which is a shame as i was going to use this club for all my functions.

$96 for 2 carts is a bit pricey!? And the drinks vouchers are only good for soft drinks ??

the course is pretty good but the staff could be a little better

Was served by a man in the pro shop who made us feel the least welcome I've ever experienced at a course. Rang the CEO to check if we were allowed play after calling the day before, having confirmation and booking a tee time, leaving our names and membership of another course numbers.Was obviously stressed about COVID19, however seemed uninformed as had no mask on, and was wearing latex gloves which after my round seemed to be the same pair he served us with 4 hours earlier. ( Dirty, sweaty and a distinct colour) At one point he stated that the police are watching through the cameras and pointed over his shoulder, and told us to watch ourselves as they can ""rock up at anytime." The tone and manner of which he spoke to me made us feel like children doing something illicit. I was merely there for a game of social golf.Tee time was 20mins late despite no comp on and the slowest round I've ever played, we left after 12 holes. Won't be returning.
