Customer Review

Very impressed with the elevation in quality of the meals and salad bar and the presentation of the place in general. They have been doing their homework and listening to people. Well done! Presently they are doing nicely and worth the trip to the Barossa to have a meal at the Vine Inn. Went there for Mother's Day and often dine there a few times a year.

A very nice establishment, good food and wine selection that you would expect from the Barossa Valley, gaming room good selection of machines, friendly staff, very good parking at the rear, prices are fair compared to some other restaurants nearby, central location in the town on main street 😀

What an absolute disgraceful excuse for a meal. Have been many times because it was always good value and great food . Well today's offering was atrocious. Ordered battered fish and received some slightly floured gold fish with about 10 chips and my Greek salad with chicken well couldn't tell the difference between the feta and the chicken because it was diced chicken loaf like you would get from the deli section at woollies. I will not recommend nor will we return.

The accommodation side was beautiful. However, the restaurant was, for me, very disappointing. As a coeliac, I need for medical reasons to eat strictly gluten-free foods. We chose to eat at the restaurant as the menu showed gluten-free available meals. On asking if foods such as chips were cooked separately to avoid cross contamination, the answer was no ( hence not gluten-free ) . No alternatives were offered. The salad and veg bar are not an option due to the gluten and shared serving spoons. I asked if i could have some steamed veg or a baked potato, but they couldn't do this. so I had a basic chicken breast with some kind of filling for my dinner, portion obviously small as the menus version came with chips advertising the meal as gluten free. Very poor understanding of dietary needs and how to substitute basic foods to make a meal advertised as gluten-free actually safe for people needing to eat gluten-free. We will stay again as the accommodation side is fantastic, we will find other dinner options.

Came down for a splendid business trip, went passed for dinner here. I decided to have an exquisite Chicken schnitzel topped off with creamy garlic sauce. Sauce didn't have much flavour too it which is pretty poor. Schnitzel was rough and not to my liking. Decided to have some potato bake, very nice. Not very budget friendly.
