Hate this. This is literally the 4th or 5th time I come here and couldn't return my bottles. People block the whole thing because they rock up with 5 trolleys. Man on the right was extremely rude told me no way I could go in front of them to return the few bottles I had. They already had some 50 odd dollars on the clock and another 4 trolleys to go. It's because of you that this system doesn't work and the machines are either full or occupied all the time!! This return and earn station is for the Dee Why, Cromer, Wheeler Heights and sorrounds community and it doesn't work because people like you are returning the amount of bottles 50 families would!! And you are disrespectful! Shame!

I meet a few friends on a Saturday to have lunch in the Bistro of Time & Tide Hotel once a month. The food is always fresh and good. Plenty of choices. Asian, regular pub style meals, such as grilled rump steak with chips and salad or cooked vegetables, Chicken Shnitzel, Parmigiano etc. Fantastic prices. 10% Discount for Seniors. Its a family friendly hotel, with a kids playground area, outdoor dining tables etc.

Security said my British drivers license isn't accepted as a form of identification. When it clearly states on NSW Government Website that a foreign drivers license is a valid form of proof. How do you expect all people from other countries to come and have a drink? Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Won't be coming back that's for sure

Classic Aussie pub that hasn't changed much since the 90s... But with the exception of a more adventurous dining menu! The meals were good quality and lots of variety. ???'?

What is unusual is the unusually large kiddies playground in the bush setting Beer Garden... Great hangout after a day at the beach. ????'?

They also had live music on a Sunday afternoon, in the form of a young guy on a keyboard playing in-tune classics! ?????

The good old time'o'. This place will never change . The only pub I know with a kids playground in beer garden. Great for locals . And anyone new to the area. Good pub food , sports bar, pokie room and forementioned beer garden . With friendly staff this place has a laidback vibe .

A great local, very friendly staff and honest and well priced pub food along with a good selection of Thai dishes

This is a great place to stay overnight on the Northern Beaches. Basic room with ensuite, aircon, micro wave, kettle & toaster and very clean and comfortable. The price is very good. The restaurant in the hotel has lots of variety and cooks a great steak. There is also a children's playground at the back of the hotel and a park across the road if you want to go for a walk.

I have no idea about the room or associated service. I and other older patrons were excluded from the premises. The younger patrons. Well continue on! So, I hoped onto the courtesy bus provided. From the moment we left the establishment I was concerned. I ask the the courtesy bus driver to slow down, He/She speed up, i again told them to slow down. They stopped the bus, I was got told to get off the bus,. I was happy to do so . I walked the rest of the way home.
The driver employed by this establishment was unacceptable and dangerous.

I called and spoke to Danielle and she said she'd put me onto a manager. No, they didn't have the "ball" to answer the phone. She said they'd had other complaints ! What would you like me to do?

The hotel rooms were nice.
Our room appeared to be recently renovated and was new and clean.
The room had a fridge, tv and aircon.
Mattress was very soft, but it would be hard to suit everyone's requirements.

Only criticisms would be the out door lights were too bright at night and shined through the room even with the blinds closed. They did turn off eventually later in the night.
And the smell of cigarettes for the neighbouring rooms filtering through as they stand out the front puffing away.
A dedicated area for smoking away from the rooms would be much better.

I stayed last week. Good value. I had to leave a day earlier than planned/booked and the manager was helpful with this.

Inexpensive eatery. Had battered fish and chips with salad. Reasonable food at a reasonable price.

Early Friday night dinner was delicious as well priced. Short queues for drinks. Huge beer garden, and outdoor playground equipment for kids, perfect if the weather is fine.

Rooms are basic but for the money great value. Food is really good. A great base if you stay on the northern beaches in sydney

If you love old school pubs then you will love this! Nice and clean, so many different spaces, yummy food with very decent serving sizes! Staff are friendly, great chilled out pub and doggie friendly outside! ?

We stayed for a night, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and newly renovated. Cheapest price on the northern beaches to.
Would definitely stay here again.
We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised. The steaks ordered where cooked to perfection! For $17.95 it was a bargain. We heard the sesame prawn and chicken stir fries were also highly recommended.

If your looking for old school country style hotel this is it. Cold beer and machines there's a drive through bottle shop and place has a kitchen large beer garden is wheelchair accessible and great for all ages happy days and drink responsibly.

The worst restaurant I've ever been, one day a hair in my meal and the other day getting food poisoning there by having fish&chips. Ruining my weekend to be in hospital till 2 am. Never go to this place anymore.

The pub has always since the seventies been a favourite of mine as I lived in the area for many many years. Now having moved my husband and I often go down and stay in the motel which has had a facelift and very clean with comfortable beds. Great value. Unfortunately we have just come home after a two day stay there and I have nothing good to say about the restaurant food as twice now I have been served a burnt pizza and also a very burnt schnitzel and a friend who was eating with us that night was served burnt flathead fillets. I was told that the schnitzel was supposed to look that way as in black. Lesson learned will not eat there again but love the pub. Hardly a soul in the restaurant either. I wonder why? Hate complaining but not good for the pub also

Just a handy pub to go to if u live close buy, with plenty of things to do there ie play pool, eat, drink & even a punt on the sport & horses.

A fav old place but she could do with a face lift.
However, the beer is always good and so are the steaks. Great rumps steaks

It's a good place to have a feed and a quite drink and watch TV. It's definitely not what it was in the 1970s and 80s alot quieter now. The 70s / 80s were rather wild times at the timo. Bands playing and punches flying from time to time. Yee haa !! The Hill Billy day's.

I liked the renovations they've made on their Restaurant and their Steak is always good but it's getting smaller and pricier per serving. My family loves to eat there once a week and last time I've been - I ordered stir fry vegetables with cashews and their vegetables weren't very fresh, I didn't like it at all and will never order this again for future visits.

This place hasn't changed. Still the same decor. The food was very good and reasonable prices. Not very busy. Enjoyable afternoon.

Leslie & the staff are warm, friendly & very helpful. Accommodation along with parking all you could ask for - great value for money. Our place of preference when we stay couple of times a year.

Always loved the T&T, unfortunately it is a ghost of what it used to be due to the covid. Still, if you want a quiet place to go with the family for a cheap bit of steak and salad/chips etc that's pretty tasty, you cant beat this place for the price, and its been that way here since about 2001 and probably earlier.
