Clean atmosphere but our table had no down lights so we couldn't see the food we were eating. We were seated in the cafe section for dinner at a table with 4 seats for 5 people. We had to move tables ourselves as waiter was understaffed. My personal main meal i ordered was $23 for 6 prawns on a plate nothing else 6 shrivelled small prawns on the plate to be considered as a "special" , sadly wont be back. Rice is $1 a kilo- just saying add a cheap alternative, i was offended by the price of 6 prawns for a "main meal size" they werent even tiger prawns- Other meals those i dined with the steaks were well well well done... not medium, and meal sizes were very very small price didn't justify value.

My husband and l are visitors to the area and called in for morning tea this morning. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. Tea and coffee were lovely and hot, but the Red Velvet cake that we both had was very dry and stale. Very disappointed

Service was excellent as soon as we walked through the front door. Care was given to my friend who almost fell over when she lost her balance. A chair and a glass of water were offered.
The table in restaurant was overlooking the river and the food was excellent. Portions were large. I ordered the roast of the day as a main meal. I would have preferred more vegetables (less peas) than pork on the upgrade from petite to main. But it was totally delicious.

Toughest battered fish ever eaten with cold chips & the pulled pork was dry and flavour less. The glassware was so scratchy and worn with one glass even chipped. Definitely needs better management. The views and location are terrific, shame every thing else lets it down. Wouldn't recommend!

Had a function here recently. Staff very eager to please and very attentive, finger food was excellent. Kids catered for and made to feel most welcome by staff. Not one complaint from attendees.

The ambience of this club is very good and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The problem, I have with this establishment is the restaurant. Hopelessly managed! The mantra seems to be that chefs knock off at 8pm, otherwise it's costing us big time! The menu also never varies. That's their business model written in stone! Recently, i ordered a main meal and a bread roll. (Sorry, we've run out out bread rolls). This was on a Wednesday! On another occasion I ordered a roast dinner and a bread roll to have before my meal, and the roast was on my table, in 90 secs flat. Please explain!

A great coffee, I enjoyed my long black, tasty blend. Offers sweets/ treats. Would be great to add vegan range. They do have gluten-free muffins but needs to be heated, staff are friendly and surrounding was pretty.

Westport has finally got there meals tasting yummy after the 2 years of covid.
This was fantastic, eggs were perfect, bread spot on, sauce very tasty and all sitting on a bed of rocket....??

Modern, busy club with contemporary dining. Held a 90th birthday lunch here and enjoyed the food and service. Great view from Aqua restaurant across the Hastings River as backdrop.

We started our night at the other bowling club in Port Macquarie but we didn't have a booking. We didn't think we would need it to go to a bowling club for dinner (who would have thought) but did they try to accomodate us for a family of five with a baby. NO! So we phoned ahead at the Westport Club and they were happy to fit us in. The food was excellent. The service was great, keeping us informed that there was a half hour delay so we ordered entrees as well and they were at our table before we had a chance to get back to the table ourselves (my wife actually told them it wasn't ours). The view was better and we had all round a really good night.

Jimmy's bar is always great for a relaxing drink/yummy cocktail near the fireplace or over by the windows for a nice view of the lake...
However the restaurant (aqua) is a huge deterrent and has been the 2 times my partner and I have been there... under or over-cooked food, poor service, terrible lighting and what tastes like deb potatoes.
Won't be dining in the restaurant again but will visit Jimmy's bar

This place is hopeless so slow and all the staff are like they are asleep or something. The food is overpriced for what you get. It's restaurant prices with really bad food. I had a beef brisket which was basically a slab of fat and the chips were cooked in month old oil by the looks of them.

Decorations are 10/10.
Canadian on tap is 10/10. Even if it takes a while to get too you.
Plenty of snack like food options on top the default club feeds.
Club was very clean and tidy.
However...
Not sure if it was the wrong time to be there or if the building has no luck but we went there and it seemed no one was winning on the slappers.
Like no one...saw a few features but it seemed dribbles of a pay.
We fed a couple of machines a few pineapples and left within an hour.
It's mother club is Mingara near our home and such we are Members.
Anywho, there is my review.

Went to Trivia last night, had a great time, Host Jimmy is great, very friendly, fun relaxing night, highly recommend. Danielle on front counter is also lovely, as is Bev in gaming room. Will definitely be joining this club.

Good facilities and great views over the estuary. Menu is somewhat limited. Online ordering could be improved by extending it to upstairs bar and lounge Parking is adequate. Membership for those who live nearby, is required but inexpensive. Strangely, the in-club "rewards" scheme is biased 8n favour of cash payments with electronic payments not receiving reward points.

Lovely club. Great staff. Quick dinner service. Meals great. Fantastic location.

Don't often go out for dinner but decided on West Port Bowling Club.
My partner & myself had the 250g Rump Steak with steamed vegetables & mashed potatoes.
Medium rare was what I ordered. A small part of both steaks came medium rare, the rest varied from medium through to well done. We both got one small slice of carrot. I left still feeling hungry ???"

Front the moment we walked in the door, all staff were friendly, helpful, informative and happy to be there.
The meals were a great size and a decent price. The dessert was amazing. We had had something different for main and dessert and we all enjoyed our meals.
The only thing I would say is in the Cafe they didn't have really anything for kids, but there is a kids menu in the restaurant.
As we left they handed us all some chocolate.
We will definitely return and will tell our friends.

Fantastic view out the upstairs window. Good cocktails but a bit pricy. Very affordable meat raffle tickets, buy lots!
Would happily visit again.

Today we had our annual Christmas party and meeting at Westport Club in the Hastings function room. The staff were very professional, the service could not be faulted, and the food was really very good quality and very tasty. I would recommend Westport to any groups wishing to have a fabulous time, in great surroundings, with good food and service.

Long weekend June We booked our table at 7.15 and it is after 9pm and we still have not been served our meal. This is not acceptable when you have children who have been patiently waiting to be fed A good management overall would help. This is very disappointing when we came with family and wanted to show them how good Westport is.

We went to The Westport Club today for lunch. We are from Brisbane so it was our first visit. Oh my goodness our experience was fabulous, the staff who were particularly helpful, an extremely pleasant environment looking out to the water. Our meals were outstanding in time, presentation and taste. Can you believe it in the bathroom which was so clean and wait for it individual towels available plus hand moisturizer. We will be back when passing thru Port Macquarie again, thank you.

This place is has good people working for it.
However they don't even have fox sports on tv, it's crazy who doesn't have that nowadays.
And also it's next to impossible to get your money out of the pokies.
Place could be much better.

Dear Aqua restaurant manager.
I visited the Aqua this arvo for lunch. The place was nice and good service by the staff. However, the lunch was horrible. I ordered the "220g rump" with chips and salad. But the steak was burned down to charcoal, the chips tasted and looked like 2nd hand (used before) and the salad wasn't anywhere as expected but a bunch of chopped anion, with half a tomato and lots of rocket. Despite the dish had a "steak knife" to eat it, I couldn't eat it as it was all burned and very hard to break. I had very little meat out of it. Also the charred steak was not more than half of the "220 grams" steak offered in the menu. I felt like not to contact the staff as they looked busy. I have been before to the Aqua but last time it was quite different food. It was much better then and now I prefer not to come back to this restaurant, and to go somewhere else where I can get a fair value for my money.

Normally a first rate bistro but tonight was slightly off. Ordered chicken schnitzel which was perfect but the vegetables were luke warm and not sure if they forgot my mushroom sauce but the pot of watery gravy was cold. In Addition was charged $13.80 for a scotch and come no sugar
