Had a parmy with just chips and got a good sized parmy for the low amount of money I paid so quite pleased. Bar is pretty well stocked and plenty of tables for inside and outside. Order and pay at counter and you get a buzzer to go up and collect when food is ready. Nice and hot meal and cheap.

We went here for drinks and dinner.

There is a covered outdoor area as well as an inside area. It was pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the late afternoon. There were both conventional tables and higher bench/stool seating.

The food prices were reasonable, and the pasta servings generous. You order inside at the food counter then wait until your buzzer goes off.

Service was pleasant and efficient.

Everything was modern, neat and tidy and the toilets were clean.

Sunday roast pork was really good for $25 Cesar salad was pretty decent too... Staffs was great and helpful??'?

Came through as a tourist travelling from western Sydney. Absolutely no regrets making this place our first pit stop. The food was scrumptious. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Staff were so kind, cocktails were nice and strong and not watered down. Chicken schnitzel's were massive and steak was cooked to perfection! Thank you for having us! Will definitely recommend you guys to all our friends and family!

Always a great meal at Settlers. Very generous serves, great food at reasonable prices, and lovely staff. Never had a bad meal or any problem here. Steaks always cooked perfectly. We'll keep visiting regularly until we head back to Queensland next month. ?????

Not long waiting time for affordable food worth every penny this place meals never will dispoint hopefully I can go back soon

As regular interstate traveler's to the Central Coast, we've had meals here previously and was usually pretty average, but we got told there's a new chef and todays meal was absolutely delicious!
Due to some NRL game being played locally, it's pretty busy, but our meals came out very promptly and we are very impressed.
Well done team, very very nice.

Crispy Tasmanian salmon was a bit overcooked and quite expensive at $29. Tasted nice though. The chips and garlic bread were yummy and tasted best when eaten warm.

Good modern pub that offers good meals and ?. Reasonably serving sizes and standard pubs Prices. When pointed out that we were incorrectly charged for the Hen schnitzel, no effort were made to fix the incorrect Price on the menu nor offered a refund.
To me that's just appalling service, and customers deserve to be treated better.

My husband and I are having dinner here now. I paid $10 extra for the topping and realized that it only has three prawns without Squid. Is it worth it? $10 for three prawns? My husband ordered the hen with the Mexican topping, $6 extra. It looks really plain without cheese. Not at all tasty look. The staff informed him after making order. She didn't inform myself about the Squid until I asked. After asking, she informed me they are ran out. We came here twice a week. We were really glad to find a such a good restaurant. It is so disappointing.
We decided not to come here again.

Also, I found a Spaghetti noodle in the Mushroom topping few days ago. I don't know whether they are reusing leftover.

Isn't it great to go into a venue to have your expectations blown away? That's the case here at The Settler's Tavern. From the outside it doesn't look impressive and it's location adjacent to the West Gosford industrial area suggests your old fashion tradies pub. But go inside and you'll find a modern and clean environment, with a real friendly feel.

It has everything you expect from a club, and there's a great outdoors area for relaxing while watching the kids enjoy themselves.

The only downsides I experienced was the quality of the salad (a little more effort and imagination would be worthy of the quality protein it sat beside), and the service at the bar wasn't as focused to be considered perfect.

Definitely going back again.

A surprise birthday party for my husband. Booked the outside patio for 40 people. Great venue. Food prices good value. All commented on how big the meals. Would definitely recommend. Plenty of parking.

They've revamped their menu and it looks pretty good however their new portion sizes are tiny. We went on curry night and they didn't even give half a cup of rice. All the orders at our table looked smaller than previous visits and they didn't even provide gravy for steaks. For was good but we'll be having a second dinner because we are still hungry. Won't be going back

Really good pub food. Clean and friendly place with plenty of TVs on the wall for sports viewing.

I had not visited The Settler's Tavern for about 7/8 years so thought we would give it a try today for lunch. Menu had plenty of options and there was ample seating available inside and out. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and prices were reasonable. I ordered the 400g schnitzel which was $27 and a bbq topper for $6 so $33 all up so on the high side for lunch but okay for the amount of food we received. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other items on the menu.

Visited on the spur of the moment and was pleasantly surprised. I think this place was refurbished and it was very comfortable indeed. The special evening meal of a Burger and fries was value for money and I'd go again.

Food looked fantastic, big portions. But I was disappointed because steak was burned and didn't taste good.

A great place to spend with friends and family. The food is super tasty and the bar is fully equipped with all types of drinks. The staff is super friendly. Watch sports, eat drink and be merry.

I was staying in a motel in West Gosford for a couple of nights and did a google search of Hotels and found The Settlers Tavern. I arrived at the right time as Happy Hour was on so I had a couple of beers at a great price. I asked the kitchen staff if they had takeaway options (the only other option was junk food from a nearby fast food joint) and was cheerfully told "of course we do".
15 minutes later I was back in my hotel room eating the most lovely and perfectly cooked Supreme Pizza and Garlic Bread.
This is a great place. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness.
The staff were wonderful and I will definitely tell anyone I know who is travelling to Gosford to drop in.
I wish I could give a 6 star rating.

Have been a few times now, recently went in for lunch. Good quality pub feed at reasonable prices. Fish & chips were cooked well, chicken schnitzel was huge, and covered in heaps of cheese and pineapple (Hawaiian). Have had the wedges before when just in for a few beers. It was all pretty tasty.

The $10 cocktail was awesome (not sure if it was just a weekend thing or if it's a regular menu item).

The venue itself looks good with the renovations, gets a good crowd in there during sports events. Have been a few times to watch the UFC which is well advertised. Will definitely be back for more food.

My date, who had ordered well done steak (which would take the longest to cook: hint) had to watch me Eat my whole meal before they even started on his! You can imagine the conversation!

I had the grilled chicken and avocado burger, it was amazing! Really love that garlic aioli they put on the burger. They also make a really wonderful latte. Getting hungry just writing this!
