My wife and I dropped in for a late lunch on the 28th of January. We had a quick look online and saw some good reviews.

The food and service surpassed all of our expectations. We shared a steak sandwich and a wrap - which were both delicious. I washed it down with a beautiful lager from a local brewery.

Thanks to Ash and Paris for making us feel so welcome.

Chicken snitty with veg was amazing. Beautiful chicken cooked just right and the veggies were fresh/crunchy. The peppercorn sauce on the side was next level. Service is always good, happy customer.

Food is expensive, tastes average and took a while to arrive. Sauce was poured on the schnitzel drowning it. Needs a good spruce up. The raffle announcement was way too loud and went too long.

Went for lunch. I was impressed by the amount of Gluten Free options they had on the menu which is very helpful as my husband is gluten free and sometimes menus are limited. Staff very friendly. Lovely location opposite a gorgeous park.

We had our son's 21st there last night. It was fabulous.
Service was excellent, food was delicious and everyone was very accomodating. Licensee was 10/10, he made sure everything was great.
I would highly recommend.

Overhead someone else in the restaurant raising an issue with their meal and the staff were clearly trying to help and taking the feedback seriously which is great, unfortunately I don't think I'd be willing to risk it again - $32 for a 200gm rump and $9.80 for a schooner is a bit rich for Lambton. The food really wasn't great which is a shame because the people seem like they're giving it a good go. This pub has changed hands quite a few times in recent years and it seems like no one has found an approach that fits yet.

This was a great experience we had there.
We went for lunch and had an amazing meal and sat outside looking over the beautiful park nearby.
The food was amazing and the wonderful service from the staff was very professional and very polite.

Nice little local pub, bit of a quieter atmosphere the clientele seemed to be of an older demographic.

Food was good, with pretty decent specials. The manager is also super nice and welcoming. They were absolutely smashed with orders when we were there and he was very accommodating (he was running the food himself)

Nice colonial style place, if they got new flooring and tables it could be a really cool place!

The new guys are doing an amazing job! Food has improved dramatically. A lot of the menu is Gluten Free! Had the best steak I've had in a while there!

Had a great lunch at Lambton Park Hotel on Sunday. Great weekend menu. The Specials Board was comprehensive. Lovely food, perfectly cooked scotch fillet, yummy chips and salad for me, and my family loved the huge chicken snitzel, fish and chips and kids manu. The salads were fresh and crisp. The food was medium priced, and we were well looked after by such friendly staff. Lovely service, thank you. Will definitely come again.

My wife and I both order steaks, she had the rump, I had the scotch fillet. Mine was rare and perfectly cooked. Hers was med-rare and also perfectly cooked. Sides were great. Cheesecake for dessert was perfect.

This place was amazing! They were so friendly and even gave us a free cappuccino and hot chocolate because we had to wait for extra staff to come on shift so they could do it.

This was unexpected, and even though I tried my hardest to pay for them, the owner kept saying no, as he said he hated to say no to anyone, and he felt bad about it. We totally understood why he couldn't leave the bar (it was Happy Hour and he was serving alone) to make us a coffee and hot chocolate.

I highly recommend this place, based on the service and friendliness alone, and we will definitely back. Oh, and the coffee and hot chocolate were the best ever too! ?

Very disappointing. We recently visited Lambton Pak hotel for a lunch and were disappointed with the food and drinks. I ordered lemon, lime and bitters and got so much ice inside the glass that I was not able to drink it. They do not provide any strews so I literally had to use a spoon to remove all the ice from my glass so I can get to the liquid. Next, we ordered our food which took ages to arrive and when it did it was very underwhelming. I had a Grilled chicken burger, and my husband had a pork belly burger. The pork belly burger was better than the chicken burger, but it still did not taste great. The chicken was dry and there was barely any sauce on the burger. The chips had no salt on them and were very stale. The burgers were about $25 which is ridiculously expensive for what you actually get - 1 piece of dry chicken, 1 slice of tomato, barely any sauce, and I do not recall even tasting feta cheese. The $5 cheeseburger from MacDonald's or Hungry Jacks tastes 100 times better than these burgers. I do not recommend visiting Lambton Pak hotel.

The flesh of the "crispy skin" barramundi was also nicely cooked, but the Mediterranean salad predominantly consisted of olives and just a few pieces of everything else. The salad was served on top of the fish, which immediately took the crunch away from the skin.

Great food and atmosphere. My friends and I hear lunch there last Sunday, and had the seafood platter... It all four of us easily... And was a good Chrissie treat. The staff are really friendly and professional. Would highly recommend taking the time and checking out this place.

We came for lunch with family on Fathers Day. First time visiting the hotel, the venue was clean and tidy, staff accommodating. Unfortunately food didn't live up to standards. It arrived 5-7 minutes after ordering and didn't look like it was freshly cooked, but rather reheated. Crust on lamb cutlets was that thick, we couldn't cut through it and pork belly bites was extremely chewy. We didn't bother taking it back to kitchen,so not to spoil the Special day. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it for the food an we won't back there again.

This is a great looking pub and in a top spot - right on the park. Unfortunately, it's consistently let down by it's food quality and service such that I don't frequent it any more. A real shame because it is local to us. I've been several times in different contexts and it consistently underwhelms in terms of customer service and quality of food. On our last trip, my family and I were spoken to so rudely by one of the staff that we left out of principle. There are simply much better pubs that understand the concept of customer service in the area, all while turning out higher quality food - take your money elsewhere.

First time there. Great old pub. Went with group of friends and we ordered various meals and they were all good. My crispy Barramundi was so yummy. Only downside was I left dessert to late and kitchen closed at 9.

We moved to Lambton a year ago and we love our new local. Lambton Park hotel is such a great pub. Lovely food and great service. The only thing I'd say is the desserts are always disappointing. Apart from that, all the food we've had is great.

Friendly staff and better than average pub meals. 7 people and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Generous & very tasty meals, extra friendly service and great atmosphere. Good range of tap beers and this place just has a lovely spacious atmosphere.

Delicious garlic bread. A huge mixed grill cooked to your liking. Great Salmon and $10 margaritas on tap up till 9pm. Definitely recommend.

We just had the lamb ribs for lunch today. Lamb is always good but this meal was 10 out of 10 good. Great cooking. Dennis.

Love that family can get great tradition pub food but I can try food like crispy pork and squid dishes.

Lovely, kind service. Great view of park. Nice and quiet for a weekend lunch. Meals a bit big for women but yummy. Two women could share one meal.

Fair range of beer on tap (Stone and Wood, Young Henry's, Pirate life, VB, Carlton)

Friday nights have 7-9pm specials for 10 dollar cocktails on tap (espresso martini and margarita)

The 400g rib eye steak isn't bad. Would have preferred if they had asked us before putting the ordered sauce on the steak for an option on the side. But otherwise a decent steak done to the right wellness as you've asked.

Disappointing meal for the price. We wanted garlic bread but were told that they had completely run out after a busy day the previous day, (not sure why they could not have got some more in).
Considering it was Fathers Day it was very quiet and now I know why.
I had tagliatelle with smoked chicken and mushroom 'ragout', was expecting a rich unctuous dish but the ragout, (stew), was non existent, just mushrooms cooked in butter and the chicken was dry and tough. It was also under seasoned.
Improvement required.
