Hmm. Food was exactly like the current McCain Ad "Nothing Special". Sorry guys, but the angus steak sambo was very very ordinary. Can't recommend this establishment for food.

Good meals . Well planned out public areas. Really good food . Great pizza area . Well worth the visit .

Sunday birthday lunch. Adults and small children. Heaps of food! Service great...even though the kitchen was busy!
We took our own birthday cheesecake! Plenty of space! Warm inside with open fire!

Lovely clean and friendly atmosphere. Great food with heaps of variety to suit all pallets and service was quick and all team friendly. Will definatley be going back.

Horrible service! Don't leave any belongings lying around or leave anything upon checkout. You won't get it back!!!

My Mum left her fast charger here and Hayley advised day after checkout she had it and would send. Over 10 phone calls and 4 weeks later.. she has just received a charger .... Not hers but an old charger with broken cords. Why say you will send it over and over... after all that send an old one and what kept the good one for yourself? Who does something like this.....Very disrespectful to waste people's time, take their possessions & CHARGE THEIR CARD FOR POSTAGE when you know that you've just sent an old fkd charger that doesn't even work.... Honestly in disbelief you would do this to anyone let alone an older person on a pension.

Friendly, warm housekeeping staff.
Reception staff member moved me to a ground floor room on my request, which I appreciated. However, my other two interactions with Reception (by phone) gave me the impression that the accommodation section plays second fiddle to the hotel and bistro.
Room was in very good condition, nice and clean, secure, and there were plenty of supplies.
When I stayed it was very, very noisy late at night - lots of merry people partying and running around, slamming doors and shouting from room to room. At the moment, the location is also very noisy during the day because of building works in the hotel area.
Food from the Pizzeria at the back of the hotel was well made and reasonably priced, especially by comparison to the bistro area at the front.
I'd definitely go back once the building works have been completed, and I would book for later in the week (hardly anywhere open to eat in the evening on Mondays and Tuesdays).

Booked in to the Imperial via Wotif, booking went through for March instead of February (my mistake). Arrived there and caused great confusion at reception desk until the manager came and we discovered the error. He was very calm and efficiently changed the booking, gave us the only room left which was actually an upgrade. We were very impressed with him, the room and the meal we had at the bistro. On the whole a great experience *****

A great place to stay after a long drive from Victoria heading back to Queensland, room was clean and all the amenities were good and just a short walk to the hotel for dinner and drinks which was also enjoyable.

Went to the bistro part with family for lunch. Reasonable prices for the size of the servings - was so hungry I didn't get a chance to take a photo! Highly recommend the steak sandwich and a nice cold beer to go with it.

Great place for a pool comp every week or so with my mate Professor Dean Rickles! (I'm currently 3 - 1 down, have to stop going jn/off the black!!)

Ate dinner at location. Great Pizza. Very nice inside. Would definitely go there for dinner again.

We ordered our dinner from the restaurant inside (not the pizzeria) after discovering they put through my order incorrectly. I went back to the kitchen to advise, I was overcharged and over provided items which I did not order. I approached the gentlemen at the register and advised my order was incorrect and I requested something different. His response was simply 'well you paid for it', yes I did pay $60 for something I did not intend to order.

The simple fact, I was not listened to, nor apologised to about the error which was made. The resolution was simple poor customer service.

After receiving our main meals, the chicken burger was pre cooked and was bone dry and inedible. After the previous encounter, obviously there was no point attempting to rectify the situation with someone as the response is extremely poor.

Not family friendly. Don't go with your family without a booking. We popped in to see family friends and I'm a breastfeeding mum but was rudely approached by a young man who demanded we make the entire party move because of the baby and the party was sitting in 18 over area. My baby was asleep and therefore not disturbing anyone. This was very discouraging and honestly offended me. Especially since he made everyone move and then there was no where to sit. I felt awful since I was the reason everyone has to move.

Can't comment on rooms as we only went for a meal.
Great variety on menu and food was tasty, could have used some seasoning especially in rice, but nice flavours.

Friendly staff great woodfire pizza's little too salty for me but great variety and taste.

Went here for lunch, empty bistro, busy menu.
Person whom took order was gruff and disinterested.
Garlic Bread barely toasted, just butter really couldn't taste the garlic.
Mexican Bowl was not as described, did not finish.
Prawn curry very bland, not really a curry and chilli jam was sweet no zing at all.
Total let down on price, service and meals!

This is the best Public Hotel in Bowral.... and if you like chilli soaked pizzas. Chairs on the front bar are designed for folks with no hips. V.tight. Staff are polite & friendly.

13 dollars for the worst garlic bread of all time. and a fairly sad chicken schnitzel honestly expected better

Stayed on a Friday night. It was a last minute decision. Good value, room was clean, and convenient parking. Was a bit noisy late at night.

We had an 18th birthday dinner there. Nothing was a problem. We had helium balloons on the table. They kept the cake in the fridge and gave us plates etc. No cakeage charge, which was great. We were able to choose our meals between the pizzeria and the bistro. While it was a busy night our meals were prepared with only a short wait. The meals were a generous portion and priced well. They also accept the government dining vouchers. I found every staff member I spoke with to be polite and friendly.

I have been here two nights in a row for dinner and both times the food was impeccable!
Before that I visited with friends and it was also consistently excellent ?

We visit this pub every 2-3 months for lunch, it never disappoints. The food is excellent, a bit pricey but the quality and quantity is worth it. The beer is served well chilled in squeaky clean glasses making it an excellent ale.
If we lived closer we'd eat here more often but the 1:30 drive is worth it.

Partner and I dined at the Bistro last night and the food was fantastic. Everything was seasoned well and my steak was actually cooked how I asked for it (Rare). Great customer service.

Had a quick dinner here in the pizzeria... they are busy! But worth the wait, the pizzas and antipasti we had being very generous and tasty, their take on bases being on the crispy side which is to my liking.... drinks are also very well priced, go a bottle to go with your dinner!

The hotel room was excellent, everything you needed, Food was amazing, service was good in parts, only down side was the Manager Ethan, his customer service was below par, needS some much needed work in how to speak to people, but didnt let him spoil our weekend visit to Bowral.

Room was clean and big enough to fit 3 peoples. There are a queen bed and sofa bed. Tv and air conditioning in the room, with mini fridge, complimentary of milk, coffees, teas. There are hair dryer, iron. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Huge parking area on site. I am really impressed with everything. Motel in the middle of City. Only 5mins walk to Cobett Garden and town center.

We, (all people I know, my Main Person of Interest including) are frequenting this place for at least last eight (8) years. Always having a meal at your Bistro Bar and having few drinks in your bar. The quality of meals, their consistency and taste are exactly the same (although I bet there would be a line "agents" running the kitchen). The price of beer though was raised at least 2.5 times , as the vessels I used to drink from shrank distinctively in the same time period!!!Andre M. Lewicki
