Overall a poor experience. We had called weeks before to booking online to confirm if we could have a late checkout as that was one of the main reasons for booking with Sydney Boulevard Hotel. Upon check-in on the day, we checked with the concierge to once again reconfirm if our late checkout. We were told that was not recorded there in addition to our breakfast included package. Moments later the concierge corrected himself and was able to confirm both were available.

We went up to the hotel room and noted that it was an adjoining room. The next door guests were easily heard through the adjoining door. The overall cleanliness of the room was below average. We noted our room also had no bottled water. The rooms' clothes iron had ruined my business shirt because there were calcium deposits stuck inside the iron. When using the water spraying function of the clothes iron, it purged the old, burnt calcium deposits onto my shirt when ironing.

On the day of the check out we were called by the Concierge at ~11.30am if we were checking out yet. We said that we had already discussed this twice previously, to checkout at 1pm. At ~12.10pm, housekeeping had entered our room despite there being a Do Not Disturb sign on the door handle. Again, for the fourth time I explained that I had already asked for a late checkout.

The rooms have everything you need. We did not have a bath plug in the room and when we asked, it was immediately brought to the room. Extra towels were also no problem.

The hotel is located within walking distance of several major parks and from there you can easily reach Sydney's main attractions.

We stayed for a week in this hotel, the staff was very friendly, the room clean and spacious. We wished we could get a towel for our infant without having to ask, however, we were able to get a towel whenever we asked without any problems. It is around 20 to 30 minutes walking distance from all the main attractions of the city, but it is a distance that can be walked just fine. Also, there is a supermarket nearby open until 10 PM every day to buy anything you might need. Highly recommended.

Excellent location for exploring Sydney and the view from our room was spectacular. The property is dated, but they have worked hard to keep it modern. All the staff we met and/or interacted with were wonderful. We stayed here based on a friend's recommendation and pleasantly surprised. Now we will be able to add our recommendation to others.

Great hotel with excellent staff. This was our first visit to Australia and Sydney and the receptionist was very welcoming and gave us a lot of good information about how to get around to the nearby attractions. She also let us check in early since it was our first visit to Australia and she did not want to disappoint us. That was a nice courteous move. The rooms are very clean and elegant and have excellent views, and it's pretty close to a lot of nice cafes and restaurants.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at your wonderful hotel. The location is nothing short of spectacular, offering breathtaking views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House right from our room's expansive windows. Public transport was easily accessible, and we appreciated the convenience of having excellent dining options and a Woolworths supermarket just steps away. What truly set the experience apart was your extraordinary staff, who were welcoming, professional, and always willing to assist. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, offering a well-curated selection that catered to every taste. I look forward to my next stay and will highly recommend your hotel to my friends and family. I've stayed at this hotel twice in the last couple of months and have been so impressed with the service I've received. From checking in to the wonderful people in the cafe, everyone has been so friendly and helpful.

My only suggestion would be to open the Cafe for dinner because after a long day you don't always feel like going out.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom was equally impressive. I was on the third floor with a street view, and although there were some daytime noises, it was mostly peaceful. If you want better views, consider choosing a higher floor.

The room was clean and cozy, and even though they cleaned it every 3 days, they made sure all amenities were well-stocked. The Woolworth Metro next door was incredibly convenient, and Hyde Park was just a 2-minute walk away. Plus, all the shopping malls were within a 15-minute walk. This hotel's central location made everything easily accessible. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for four nights.
Above all, I liked the reasonable price.
I was very satisfied because there was a bathtub in the bathroom.
The train station is a little far on foot, but buses to the city come often.
Also, the staff is kind.

I was able to have a more satisfying trip because I rested well at this hotel.
I'm going home tomorrow.

Well located, very close to Woollomooloo Harbour and around 2km away from Opera House. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. The room is big, clean and comfortable. If you need parking they have the garage underground, but will cost $25 per day. I wouldn't bother to have the breakfast there as the buffet is expensive $38 per person. You can have better and cheaper options around. I would stay there again.

A wonderful hotel! We arrived in the morning from Norway and were very tired. The receptionist let us use the gym to take a shower and change. That was exactly what we needed! The breakfast was very good! Not the biggest variety, but certainly the best food with some lactose free alternatives. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This hotel is very reasonably priced and great quality. Great view of the bridge from our window and a beautiful cooked breakfast buffet each morning. Great location, close to everything. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and great shower, we had a shower in the bath, which was a spa bath. Cannot speak highly enough, one of the better places we've stayed in and we've stayed in many. Highly recommend.

Value wise this hotel is fantastic. It's position wasn't ideal for us but we took a chance and it worked out very well. We've booked again for our return trip.

Adequate room and good location but didn't have a kitchenette, restaurant wasn't operating and no daily refresh of the room or towels (a note in the room said they will only service the rooms every 4 days). We also spent most of one day listening to a hammer drill going either next door or upstairs. The noise was really loud and intrusive. Perhaps a warning of renovations or work being done would have been appreciated.

I feel like we could have gotten a bit more service for the price we paid. We won't be staying again.

I have a physical disability and travel with a wheelchair and a carer. When my carer had to leave unexpectedly due to a death in the family, Boulevard hotel staff were brilliant and very helpful in assisting me. The room was clean and nice. I highly recommend the Boulevard hotel. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

What a joke! I bought my ticket during the flash sale and due to unexpected circumstances, i won't be able to make it. Called up to change the dates and stated that I am willing to pay extra to change the dates, still a no from them, they simply say that the dates can't be changed because it is during the sale. I understand that it is written in the terms and conditions before booking but i do not understand why it can not be changed considering the rooms are still available on the dates I want to change to on the website.
and did i mention i am willing to pay extra to change? in a business point of view it will be good for them and one more room available which other customers can book! It is beyond ridiculous at this point

I stayed for 6 nights. The location is perfect. You can walk pretty much anywhere if you're up for it and users were pretty decent for going a bit further. I had a few hiccups with my room but the staff did a great job to help sort it out. The view from my room was pretty nice and I was very comfortable the whole time. A lovely experience!

Phenomenal location - walking distance to The Domain and the art gallery. Comfortable beds, fantastic view - BUT would be nice to have clean windows. View was obscured and a bit of a disappointment after paying $382 for a night. Reception was busy but friendly, and otherwise would recommend this hotel as a brilliant destination.

The shower didn't drain very well so every time I took a shower it was very uncomfortable. The hairdryer was old style (built into the wall) so it took forever to dry my hair. Other than that, it was a great stay! Great location and view, room was clean and staff were great.

Good honest accommodation, although mid to high range on price. Whilst being an 'established' hotel, age has not diminished its appearance and functionality.

Staff are engaging and pleasant. Rooms tidy, clean and functional. And of course it is a very handy location.

Whilst there is a good free breakfast (I think if you book direct), there is sadly no restaurant operating during the day.

You can stay here with complete confidence.

I came to Australia to celebrate my 1st anniversary. I sent an email to the reservation team to let them know. When we arrive there was not even a welcome card in the room.

This hotel is clearly for business travel. Not interested in the guest experience.

The toilet was flooding, the shower didn't work when I had to check out at 11am. I was told to come downstairs to get eating utensils. The window was not clean so I couldn't entirely take in the view.
Would be nice if we could choose which level to be on.
Overall love the luxury look of the room, the bathroom does not match the quality of the room.
It was a nice experience, but with some changes could be better. For 4 stars I wasn't expecting a 1 star quality shower or toilet.

Felt urge to claim a refund because you should get what you pay for but nvm.

Compared to other International hotels and hospitality, Sydney is lacking. There wasn't much variety for food or beverages either.

This is a perfect staycation for Vivid Sydney 2022. It offered a very accessible location to get into the key locations of the installations. We also commend the great experience on Darryl who assisted us from booking, checking in and all the request for room service and checking out. He was very friendly, professional and communicates well to guests.

I stayed here with my family over the weekend and cannot recommend it highly enough. The rooms were immaculate, location was great and the staff were incredible. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stayed at The Sydney Boulevard for two nights for a girls weekend away, from the point of check in we were made to feel like Vip's, special mention to DJ who went above and beyond to make us feel
welcome, nothing was too much trouble, we required an extra room last minute which the staff arranged without any issue at all. Our room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable.

You get a little less then you expect from a cheaper Sydney hotel. The bathroom had peeling paint and definitely had seen better days. Initially the room was not in the requested bed configuration. The in-room amenities are limited and the in-room dining menu leaves something to be desired. Staff were mostly helpful though seemed to have forgotten some of the charm front of house service staff are meant to have. Their housekeeping team were a true highlight and probably the nicest people I spoke with during my stay.

We booked the room on the very last minute because we were to tired to drive back to Canberra. The front desk served us with the highest quality. The overall hotel was very clean and spotless. The bedroom was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Will probably stay here again when we come to Sydney.

I would like to thank all the staff from reception, room service, maintenance and of course the catering crew at breakfast, for making my 10 day stay such a comfortable one. Nothing was too much bother, like the faulty shower head fixed within 20 minutes of being reported to one of the room service crew. Well done! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Staff were attentive and polite. Checkin and checkout were fast. Decent room service. Parking was convenient once I found it - however there is no information about it on the website or the confirmation email. Rooms are like 90s luxury - outdated but fancy in its day, and well-maintained with some subtle updates here and there. Bathrooms are probably the weakest part of this experience; just cramped and they have pointless shower-over-bath tubs, and no active ventilation so toilet smells and shower steam linger. One nice touch was that there are plenty of conveniently placed power sockets. I was also upgraded after two nights to a harbour view room; much bigger and the view is nice. Bathroom slightly bigger but still no ventilation! Honestly I went here because when you have a car in the city, the options are more limited; so I would recommend this for anyone with a car, who, like me, can't afford a 5 star hotel.
All in all, for the money I paid, I was very happy with the hotel.

Two night stay, which included breakfast. Staff were very accommodating; room was lovely - great size and well-appointed. Something I always look at in hotels is the state of the corridors and lifts - carpets, walls etc - because I believe that this is where you see how well the hotel is managed. Chipped paint, marks on the walls and worn carpets are all strong indicators of disinterest, low morale etc. I'm happy to say these areas were excellent at The Boulevard. Enjoyed ourselves so much, we've booked another 2 nights next month

I stay at this hotel regularly when in Sydney and have found all staff to be professional, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Lin from Housekeeping who I have found to be extremely helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble and goes out of her way to assist with anything she can. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean with big windows and lovely harbour views. Room service and breakfast very good. Always a pleasure to stay here.

This hotel is amazing. The staffs at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. The checkout time was at 10 am, however she let me leave my bag at the reception for few hours so I could go for a Sunday mass at St Mary's nearby. The rain was pouring heavily that day and when I came back, she let me use the ladies room on the first floor so I could freshen up before catching a bus home. The room was nice and clean as well. In overall, I highly recommend this hotel and a big thank you to all the front office staffs who are so helpful and friendly.

Room is absolutely wonderful, views to die for. Shower has no pressure, its a drip. I do like a great shower. No food service or room service after 8.30pm. Staff seem friendly

Stayed here a couple of nights. Good location, walkable to everywhere and plenty of bars near by. Comfy beds and decent views of the city. Bathroom seemed a bit old but otherwise a nice place. I'd stay here again.

We have no hesitation in recommending the Sydney Boulevard Hotel as a very clean and comfortable place to stay in Sydney. It is close to the CBD, a short pleasant walk through the park. Has many and varied restaurants in close proximity and is very easy to drive to from both north of Sydney and the airport. Highly recommended and we will stay again when we need accommmodation in Sydney.

Rooms clean however lounge chairs and desk chair were stained. For a 5 star hotel you need not to have UHF milk in fridge, if you know guests are coming you need to put in fresh milk and more coffee, not 3 sticks and put in nice biscuits not Arnotts get out of the 70's. Cafe Vard food lovely but the frozen Mc Cain pizza was a let down. The staff were fantastic at the desk and also the cafe. We will come back.

Very nice Hotel in the City Centre of Sydney. You can reach the hotel by Taxi from the Airport in aproximately 20 Min. ( depends on the traffic situation). We had a room on the 13th floor with a great view over the city. The woom was quite big and the beds really comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast on the first two days. The selection was perfekt. I loved the mini pancake maker ;-). If you do not like the included coffee, you can order a special coffee such as Cafe latte, or cappuccino from the waitress but in this case you need to pay extra. the employees in the hotel were always friendly and helpful. for a walk to the opera or the harbour bridge you need aproximately 30 Min. but the way is so nice. there is a botanical garden near the hotel, which is highly recommended from our side. A nice trip is to take the bus in front of the Hotel to Watsons Bay. There you can take the ferry back to circular quay. It is a very cheap way of a harbour tour by boat.If you start your Aussie trip in Sydney, we highly recommend this Hotel, because the Price is good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, you stay very close to the city centre and the staff is very kind. It is so perfect to start vacation here
