Not a great experience. 1st time at this venue, I walk into bathroom while texting on phone, someone had spewed all over toilet and floor and I stand in it. It's probably still there. If you make it to toilet at least get it in the bowl or tell someone you made a mess. Gross!! Onto food.. I asked if chicken nibblies had bones. Was assured they were boneless. Onto receiving said food. They were wings. Plastered in sauce. Definitely not what I was told upon ordering. Onto main, I order a steak medium which came out very well done and plastered in sauce which I didn't order. And above all else served on top of everything else on plate. Who does that? The first thing you need to do is pull the sauce soaked steak off all the other food, otherwise cut into it and squash everything else into a puree. Chef, your not serving food to a over 95 retirement home.....unreal experience. I wouldn't eat here for free. I value my insides way to much. Never again. If people accept this as normal you've clearly never been to a good place that serves normal everyday food to customers in a form thats not great. I mean I like sauce as much as the next bloke but did the top fall off the bottle ?? I'm not one to send food back but I know people that would have sent the table and chairs by airmail into the kitchen.

I ate here only. The poor young lady running the bistro was lovely. The chef, a typical chef, rude and taking his dislike for his chosen vacation on the young lady and then me.
I asked politely for a simple addition to my meal, not a massive change , just some pineapple on my chosen pizza.
If they didn't have it, fine but it was an option on the other pizza. I digress, it's not about the pineapple.
The young lady didn't know where to look when he screamed at her, in front of me, about my outrageous request.
The food was good, the grumpy chef, not so good, not a great draw card to bring me back.

Winners are grinners! Free family entertainment? Head to the Coast for Trivia, restaurant food is beyond exceptional, drinks are worth it (grab a free Member's Card) and the happy staff top it all off like a perfect dessert!

Service was exceptional but unfortunately the dining area was too cramped to walk around the tables and the food was burnt hard rolls and not nice at all.
Hopefully this was a once off but probably won't visit again as we were driving through and stopped in for dinner.

Best way to finish off a 12hr drive from Sydney-despite this being a stopover on a longer drive north.

Great feed and staff are very welcoming. Was quiet when we had dinner. Dinner was reasonably priced. Had the pizza special and wings, wings are nice and spicy ?.

My night at the coast hotel was one of the best nights I've ever had in my life. Luke and Sammie at the bar were the best bartenders in the world. Definitely will be back!

Great service. Steaks have great bbq smokey flavour, nice wines, great chips!! I'd like a grilled fish option on the menu rather than beer battered/deep fried.

Grabbed a $26 steak and it was pretty good, lots of salad and a good amount t of chips. It was cooked exactly as asked which was great. Venue was roomy enough and it was in end of may, so I imagine it would get busier at peak times, but was pretty quiet while I was there which was nice. Good selection of beers and the staff were very friendly

Went here for dinner. Service was excellent. Food was great. The staff in the Bistro were friendly and helpful. The food was nice and hot. The staff at the drinks bar were also friendly and helpful. This is one place that my wife and I will be back to, next time we're back in Coffs Harbour.

Been here a few times and the food has always been top notch but apparently they have a new chef and wasn't a fan the Bread & dips wasn't that great. Duck spring rolls were nice but the Crispy Pork Belly wasn't crispy - more like rubber and didn't have a nice flavour. It's a shame I'll have to find another spot for dinner in future

Fantastic meal...all fresh and home made. Great value and good service. So happy we found this little gem, will visit again when next in Coffs. Well done team, you should be very proud

Last night I had the pork cutlet and my husband had the ribs. Both meals fabulous. Never tasted such a tender pork cutlet. The large plate of ribs could have been shared between us, but my husband devoured the lot. We will eat there again tonight. Waitress taking the orders was so sweet and friendly. Definitely recommend this Hotel.

Wow called in.on the way I had rump, cooked to perfection, partner had snitzel. While eating we saw the ribs, they looked fantastic. On our return to Melbourne we stopped again,. We had the ribs, eyes bigger than our belly. Had to get a container, they were as nice as they looked. If we are up this way again this will be our go to for lunch or dinner. We'll done, staff super friendly

Stopped in on a Thursday for lunch and the food was absolutely amazing, came out extremely quickly and couldn't fault it. Stopped for lunch on the following Monday and the food was the complete opposite, took almost 40 minutes to come out and when it did it was cold not warm cold. Niether times weren't busy at all. The bar staff are amazing, extremely welcoming, polite and accommodating.

When you pay $75- for two chicken snitzels and a garlic bread delivered and they forget to deliver the gravy which you pay $5- extra for and didn't taste good without. Not happy! Thanks for ruining father's day dinner for us!!

I've come back for my second dinner to eat the same thing: a classic steak sandwich with a perfectly rare scotch fillet, in crunchy Turkish bread, with rocket, tomatoes, beetroot, Swiss cheese, light fluffy aioli, and just the right size serve of chips on the side, freshly cooked. Yesterday was Tuesday special night: $15. Even at its normal price of $22, it's a bargain. And something I really appreciated is that the music is at just the right level, so people can hear each other talking.

I just want to say what a great little pub this place is. Friendly staff, lovely decor, comfortable and relaxed.
I'd forgotten to have lunch, so was ready for a good feed after 6 hours on the road... I went all out and got the Cowboy Special; Steak, Ribs, and Wings. I was surprised how much I managed to finish - the only leftovers were some of the wings, that were just as good cold, as they were hot. Every customer I overheard complimented the food, not just me.
Prices comparative with Sydney, but so was the service and quality of the food.

Atmosphere seemed good. Ordered a steak which was loaded with sinue. To their credit it was refunded. Poker room was for smokers and non so disappointed with that. Overall above average.

The meal was lovely and a generous serve. We had the Moroccan lamb cutlet salad and the mushroom and spinach risotto. Service was really quick. I would recommend this place.

It's a lot of fun when your with friends, the drink prices aren't the best but the atmosphere is good. Heaps of young people on a Saturday night which is the best time to go. The security guards are good, but I have heard they can be q pain and pick on people they don't like. Probably the closet thing to a nightclub in Coffs harbour.

Madonna Restaurant has always provided a well priced coffee & cake or light meal is toasted sandwiches & hot drink. It has quick service and offers outdoor seating in addition to indoor.
The bistro has a good range of meals from cheaper tasty dishes to large steaks.

Fantastic staff, extensive wine and ale selections - the food is outstanding and varied, nice outdoor-upstairs deck area, pool table, smokers zone, pokies, bistro dining; I've never had a bad night at The Coast.

What a fantastic venue the staff are the most friendliest I've ever encountered and really good at their work also a big pat on the back to Fiona in the restaurant Gold star waitress do yourselves a favour when your in Coffs harbour visit this venue

Cold as hell unless you can wrestle up to a Heater, drinks were served in kids size plastic cups making the price for what you got ridiculous and security couldn't handle 5kids on the roof throwing rocks into the beer garden that hit most of our group. Only positive was the Food wasn't bad

I came here originally for a lunch meal. It was good so I though I would come back for dinner.
The meals where amazing. Good price good quality I have chicken supreme it was so tasty a creamy garlic sauce with asparagus and Brie stuffed into a chicken breast, with Broccolini and chat potato's

My friend had the vegetarian pasta it was also amazing! The staff at the bar are supper friendly ! Highly recommend this place

Probably the friendliest staff I have ever met. This place is absolutely beautiful and it doesn't just stop there the food is amazing. I had the sirloin steak with a chips and salad with a pepper sauce gravy, let me tell you it was cooked to perfection and the chips were beautiful and crispy fresh along with the amazing side salad. Couldn't fault this place with definitely be returning again.

What a great place! Food was great and Diana and the bartender were the kind of people you dream about having working in your establishment. They were amazing. Need these kind of places with the quality and care factor in QLD! Be back whenever we are in Coffs!

Great pub food. Sirlion was delicious as was the schnitzel, and beef burger. Highly recommended if you enjoy a good pub meal with great staff

The bistro cooked my medium rare steak to perfection.I was shocked as it's usually overdone at most places.Atmosphere is great outside. Miss the old live bands, though.

On holidays in Coffs Harbour and went here after reading other reviews.Food is delicious! Best steak so tender and cooked to order! Pork sausages with mash was also amazing!Great service tooDefinitely worth checking out!
