Lovely location and ideal for a Sunday boozy lunch to catch up with friends. We live out of state, staying on GC. Friends from North of Sunny Coast came & met us there. Such a lovely vibe with live music and tranquil outdoor setting. Was busy - so be sure to book ahead. Great cocktails🍹 Seafood platter was delicious with amazingly huge and fresh oysters & prawns. Pork belly was also very good. Meals where generous portions and reasonable prices in this day & age. Staff friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you.

The Boathouse tavern was highly recommended by family friends who held their own events there, an engagement and 21st birthday. I myself have never been there so I was going in blind but trusted my source.

I am so pleased and grateful I booked here. I cannot recommend this venue enough! From the first contact made via email when I made an enquiry, leading up to the day and on the day, Sam, absolute star (whom I was emailing with). Easy to answer questions over emails and provide info when asked. Sam was very empathetic when I explained the delay in making payment due to a family funeral. That made me feel confident this was the perfect place for the babyshower. Thank you so much Sam.
Maria, such a beautiful darling, and everyone else working that day, Saturday 1st June, were phenomenal. Maria was so accommodating, helpful, friendly and genuinely lovely. I asked a few favours due to having left items at home, which wasn't an issue for Maria. All the staff, ladies behind the bar, shift manager and the other workers were all so lovely. My husband organised a bar tab on the day, they knew who we were when we went to the bar - nothing seemed to hard or annoying.
The food: I ordered from the platter menu - EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!!! Servings were perfect for the group we were hosting, and the fact that we could take the leftovers home, even better. My guests couldn't stop raving about the chicken nibbles,.chicken skewers the peanut sauce was beautifully silky and worthy of praise. Even the dessert platters were surprisingly delish.
Atmosphere was no issue meaning the area we were allocated was away from the general public, it had a gate entrance off the main entrance but accessible from the dining area as well. We had our own speaker and music playing, this wasn't an issue for the venue. We were respectful to the other diners. There was another event on at the same time, and I didn't feel the service level dropped. Compliments to the kitchen staff and front of house.

On a side note: thank you to everyone for not making a huge example of the 2 little swimmers in the water feature. I almost died when I seen them in there and I sincerely apologise for their impromptu performance.

Good meal, average price for a pub meal. No seniors specials. You will pay top price for a beer. Very good atmosphere and the service was excellent.

Visited on a Friday afternoon for a beer and dinner.

We were quite surprised how quiet it was in the public bar. We had been there previously a number of years ago and the contrast was very noticeable.

The staff in the restaurant were great and super friendly. The same can't be said about the bar staff in the public bar. Either they were having a bad day or perhaps they have been there too long but they were not friendly at all.

Unfortunately the food in the restaurant was very average. I had the salmon which came with a generous serving of mashed sweet potato and some broccoli. The salmon was very dry and with no sauce. For $30, I would expect better standards than that. My colleague had the steak which a bit overcooked for medium.

Overall, this establishment has not changed much over the years. Perhaps a refit is needed to liven the place up a bit.

Local to the area. Have eaten here a few times, most recently Friday night, 4 adults. Happy with the food. Had a Thai beef salad.
Ordered drinks/cocktails through the table QR scanner. Bit slow on coming, took 20mins. Food ordered the same way but came out pretty quickly.

Never been here before & went for my MIL's 60th birthday. Loved it! Walked in and was greeted with what felt like an elegant fancy restaurant. It was stunning!

They had a games room for the kids & Even a bouncy castle.

The cocktail specials were $17 and delicious! I had the strawberry margarita & could have had 20 of them, they were so yummy. And had a good amount of alcohol in them, unlike other restaurants with discount cocktails the tend to skimp on the amount of alcohol they put in them. And the bartender was so quick at making them.

Menu had a great selection and all good that came out was so tasty & quick! Highly recommend.

We had the cannelloni and beef cheeks it was nice, abit too much sauce on the cannelloni for my likeing but great place for a date night or family together 😊

Great atmosphere and good food, the prices were really resonable too! The staff were great but they could do with more people behind the bar - but probably has been difficult to hire at the moment. We really enjoyed our evening and will be back again!

Average food, nice and freezing outside, EXPENSIVE, questionable portion sizes for the pricing. Not worth revisiting.

I could pay less for the same food at the airport (yes, the airport where prices are jacked way up).
Though, there are limited options in this area, so if you have no where else to go, there's always tables open at this place.

I cannot recommend this place, if you are commuting or travelling, I recommend getting something nicer along the way.

The food tasted very average for me but, none of my party had any positive remarks about the food.

The food was delicious and big meals, you definitely get great value for your money. I was able to drop off the cake the day before, which was handy. Family friendly and lots fun for the kids with a games room and jumping castle. I have never been to a place like this before, the boat bar blew my mind and beautiful outside water dining area was very relaxing. My mother in-law is a coeliac and she was able to enjoy a beautiful meal also.

Had dinner for parents wedding anniversary, there were 22 of us. Staff & service was amazing! Food was so yummy!! Very accommodating, we brought in two big cakes for dessert and that was no problem at all. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had a great night. Food was delicious. Prawn spring rolls were very light with loads of flavour, great starter. I had the beef cheeks which just melted in your mouth. We sat out on the verandah, lovely ambience. We have been there on a few occasions over the years but the food this time was exceptional.

If we could give more stars we would. From the moment we were greeted by Taylor until we finished our meals and left, the service was beyond outstanding.

The food was incredible (try the ribs and beef cheeks 🤤🤤🤤) and cocktails too.

Every staff member that we encountered was delightful, and an absolute credit to Anna and management.

It's so refreshing to be welcomed and have human contact when eating out.

We can't believe we've passed by almost every day for 7 years and not eaten here before. We'll 110% be back.

Lovely welcome on arrival and taken to our table promptly, food arrived in a very reasonable time and was as lovely as always. Staff chatty and helpful especially Janey who was especially amazing and helpful when my daughter burst her lip while playing. Highly recommend this venue it's lovely to sit outside and plenty heaters available for the cooler nights. Will be back soon .

We recently had a surprise 60th at this amazing venue.

From first contact to after the event, Anastasia (Anna) was amazing. A variety of areas we could choose from and plenty of tables and chairs for the event.

A beautiful venue to have a casual drink and/or meal, a business meeting or celebration.

They have great food, a jumping castle and games room for the kids, plus a karaoke bar!

Can't wait for the next event guys! Thanks for having us.

Great local pub in Coomera near the theme park. Very nice ambience and spacious indoor and outdoor seating available. Food Servings sizes are generous and staff member's were friendly. Received good customer service during our visit. Thank you 🙂

Had a lunch business meeting on Friday, my first time to The Boathouse Tavern.

The place is under renovation so construction everywhere, but it was a beautiful day the outdoor area is massive and a great place to just chill out. I'd be keen to check it out again once the Reno's are done.

First entered via what I assume is the main bar. The "bar" is designed from a luxury boat, very cool concept. Bar server was on the phone when I walked up so waited for a bit. Pretty young girl served me (long dark hair) but zero personality and didn't even crack a smile. Wasn't very inviting sadly...

QR codes for ordering - easy enough, but doesn't all for any comments, notes or changes to the menu items which was a little frustrating. In saying that, a lovely server Taylor was kind enough to pass on my requests to the kitchen.

I stuffed up my order, so ended up with a very boring Caesar salad - it was good but would have been better if I had of remembered to add the chicken. Mind you for what it was, almost $20 was a bit cray cray. Didn't take a photo of it.

I took my teenage children out to lunch today and I have to say that the service we received was absolutely amazing! All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic. I work in customer service and if I had staff like them I would be so proud. Food was tastey and big serves. This is now our new favourite go to restaurant. 😀

Took my parents here for lunch. Two fish dishes & eye fillet. Steak was perfect medium rare. Service was friendly & prompt - big shout out to Brandon & Anastacia who were excellent. I thought the prices were very reasonable too. Thanks so much for making Mum's birthday lunch so enjoyable.

The boat house is usually a fave spot for me.
Iv hosted massive functions, came for lunch and regularly pop in for a beer.

But tonight they lost my business!!! Ordered food was sent some random meal and one of the worst portions iv ever seen for a $30 product.

Wasted a good hour speaking to menulog. Then was chucked a $50 voucher for the pub like my night and event was completely insignificant...

All I wanted was the correct meals I paid for delivering to my door... Which nobody wanted to do. Tonight the boathouse ruined my daughter's birthday dinner .... sending some crusty cold chips and chicken which was binned.

My function made this pub a significant amount of business. Yet I can't even get a dam pizza send back out to me after your chefs didn't provide the right meals.

Tough writing this about the boathouse as I'm a fan but doing what's right for your loyal customers should be a priority especially if your willing to take our cold hard cash.

Very nice. Large servings, I like the water feature and it entertained the kids. There is a jumping castle for the kids too if the weather is not to windy.

Went here for NYE. Very friendly staff. Food was very good but the bruschetta had too much oil, it was pooled on the plate dripping as you eat it. Chicken BLT was lovely, tender grilled chicken breast. Veggie stack was pretty large and delicious, sweet potato mash, roast pumpkin, large mushroom with halloumi and rocket. Great experience overall

Honestly one of the worst meals I have had to date. Both meals inedible. Both meals left almost untouched on the plate. The mashed potato was essentially powder tasting slosh. The chicken breast was cold and not what I would classify as a 'breast'. Even the (assuming from frozen) fish, prawns and calamari ordered as the other meal was unsatisfactory. Powdery and tasteless. The avocado on the side of the plate had been heated up - whilst the rest of the meal was barely warm? It tasted awful and was the same consistency as the sloshy mash. The customer service by the bartender was good, on a positive she was helpful and friendly. But the rest of the staff especially the bartender (or attendant) next door in the sports bar was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Couldn't pay me enough to eat here again. No checks on how the meals were going and good luck finding a staff member to help when you need it.

Great atmosphere. Food was fantastic and plenty of it. Staff were friendly and professional. Covid precautions in place. Great place for family gathering or with work mates.
At the time, 1730hrs not real busy, but was moderately crowded an hour later. Have been here on several occasions and it can get very busy. Meal menu comprehensive and reasonably priced. Highly recommended and will definitely revisit.

10 out of 10! Couldn't of been more impressed, I rocked up on my own and felt welcomed from the very second I walked in. I was recommended the Chicken Neptune dish, do yourself a favour! I've found my new local, great service guys! Beautiful venue throughout and the back area with the bug screen and kids activities. It's a one stop shop! See you at The Boathouse!!!

I enjoyed my Chicken Schnitzel. It was cooked nicely and I had plenty of food on my plate. The gas heater kept us cosy outside and great deal with 4 corona stubbies for $25 (bucket deal )

We had a lovely Mother's Day get together yesterday at your venue. Outdoor area was fabulous, food was great & music/ entertainers were really great & entertaining but we found we could not have much of a conversation as the music was TOO loud. That was the only negative but we did enjoy their music selection.

Our table waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food and the table behind us waited another 20 minutes for theirs to arrive. We ordered entrees in hopes of curbing the long wait but it all ended up coming out at once, which is great for efficiency, but I don't want to eat that much food at once.

It was disheartening to see so many Menulog orders be filled and for customers that were dining in be left waiting when it seemingly would have been easier to order out.

I feel bad for the waiters. They were wonderful but I can't begin to imagine how many complaints they had on this one night alone.

Shocker! We checked in at lunch using the Venue's COVID App. We had a question about the check-in questions and the receptionist didn't even know that that particular question was asked on their own App. I then ordered two Entrees (and said, "as Entrees") plus two main meals. (There were only two of us and the same young girl who checked us in took our order. She knew there were only two of us). When the buzzer went off I presented to collect our Entrees only to find that everything was ready - main meals included! I said that the Entrees should come out first and I was presented with the sales docket that said they were all ordered as main meals. I replied that I didn't type in our order - she did, I reminded her that I asked for the Entrees as "as Entrees" and that the Entrees that we ordered was only available in the Entree section of the Menu. Met with a blank look and with no offer of apology or suggested recourse, I just took all of the meals and ended up with a cold main meal by the time we finished the Entrees. We felt rushed through the whole experience. Not really good enough service and for the record the food was quite mediocre for the price. We are local to the area and have had much better service and food in the past. New owners? New Chef? In any case, we won't go back there for quite a while. Very disappointing experience.

Great Staff and Great Service.Do I get a free beer?

Quite pleasant surroundings. Ice cold beer. We had lunch mine was a fish and chip meal. The fish is prepackaged, the chips were nice but needed to be hotter. The tartare was out of a jar and the salad consisted of lettuce mix out of a bag and very poorly dressed. My hubs had the calamari which was lovely and tender. His chips and salad were the same as mine. The garlic aioli was out of a jar and revolting. With a little bit of love in the kitchen as in some home made dressings the meals could be improved tenfold.
