Came to this place and the staff asked me to move to upstairs, once I was upstairs staff asked me again to move because they were having a private function on the deck. I moved again with my family and people were remaining in that area. I didn't understand why the treatment was different with us. I was thinking to order main courses, but I was sticking with the snacks only. I will never go back again. Reply: If you guys were having functions that should be told me prior to sit or order anything. If I have to leave why should I order if I can't finish it?

Food was good and drinks were pretty good. Expensive but the standard prices as any usual pub/food place.

Once a delightful spot in 2010, offering a novel "cook your own steak" experience, charming decor, and discreet pokies, the place has now lost its essence. Regrettably, it has transformed into a crowded VIP poker machine enclave, leaving little room for social interaction. Gone is the unique steak-cooking concept that once set it apart. This shift feels like a missed chance to preserve the charm that defined the place, leaving a sense of disappointment among those who remember its former glory.

Great pub food with friendly service.
Though the place was so busy (a wedding and a 21st party going on) the service and food was timely and great.
Kids were entertained with an activity bag full of stuff to keep them busy.

This is a great pub with waterviews, delicious food and such amazing, friendly and helpful staff. We just celebrated a birthday here and would definitely come again. Loved the upstairs deck area. My salmon was delicious and the anti-pasto for 4 was so generous. Chicken burgers and Fish and chips were delicious too. Highly recommend.

Was in Terrigal for a work trip and we spent the better part of two days in the terrigal hotel.

The service was good and the vibe was good.

We did the trivia night which was fun - it's quite different to usual trivia as they use buzzers.

Had our work Christmas party here last Saturday night. We were so impressed with everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic! I had the ribs and they were the nicest I've had in a long time. Hubby had the scotch fillet and that was lovely too. Was a great night, thank you

Terrigal Hotel is a great hotel, great food. I had Chicken Parmigiana with chips and salad (Tues Night special) for dinner. Only negative thing about the meal was the gravy for the chips, very watery. Apart from that, very nice ??'?

It's so easy to relax and forget about everything, even with the glimpse of water through the trees. The water is quite closeThe food is really great. Highly recommend the pizzas and we weren't the only ones eating them. Staff are marvellous and so helpful. Just go there! Book a table if it's a big group you are with. Sit upstairs and enjoy the sea breeze.

Great atmosphere in the upstairs area. Service was friendly and really quick, food was served quickly. Food highlights for me, the rump steak was cooked perfectly, definitely get a side of the garlic prawns if you like your seafood and the sticky date pudding was perfect!

Nice food nice environment. Pizzas were tasty and filling. Chicken strips were delicious especially the crusty skin. Daughter loved them as well as the pink Lemonade. Lost a star because happy hour was only downstairs. I just don't get it why you go downstairs bar get your happy hour drinks and bring them upstairs to have with your meal

I recently arranged a lunchtime event on the deck and it was a great success thanks to the staff at Terrigal Hotel. Danielle and her team were so helpful and easy-going, suggesting great food options for the buffet and arranging tables for us. The vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options were delicious and enjoyed by all. Thanks.

Very accommodating for a late booking. We asked to be moved because we had a famished crowd, they helped us out. High chair? Not a problem. Dropped chips? "We'll replace them" and the food was brought out so quickly.

I hadn't eaten at TH for a few years. What I found tonight was that the meals were still substantial, the quality was still fantastic and the service was still fast. Really enjoyed the hospitality and the location has always been spot on. Thanks for a great night!

We had a group lunch in the upstairs area, my first time there for a couple of years. It is impressive. However, when ordering drinks and meals there was a lengthy queue, the one staff member behind the bar was left to fend for herself, a mammoth task for her. However, she did well and queue time was not good, but not impossible. The meal was tasty and other than the lengthy queue, we had a great afternoon

Do yourself a favour. Have the Louisiana style sticky pork ribs. Sensational, get a full rack half doesn't do it justice. Great view friendly staff. Top notch tucker.

Food was good and what you'd expect from good pub dining standards these days. The outdoor dining area is a great place to sit on a nice evening for a casual meal and had a good vibe about it.

The only thing to whinge about was the overlapping of sounds with the footy volume up in the indoors dining, music over the system outdoors dining, and live music playing downstairs.

In fairness I could have asked for the outdoors music to be adjusted but I think the staff caught on eventually and flicked it off

The staff have always been so friendly, and welcoming. Kid friendly and the food is great and large servings.

I liked it! Typical coastal Aussie pub but it's got a great courtyard and the food and drinks were good. Definitely worth popping in for a drink if you're in the area.

Went in 2 Sunday's in a row to get ribs. The first time we were told the kitchen closed at 9. When I reminded the bartender that it wasn't 9 yet she asked what we would like to order. When we said ribs, she chuckled and said 'no the kitchen won't make that so close to 9.'
Tonight we made a second attempt to eat here. Made a booking beforehand for 615.
We got in and saw the same bartender. As we have never eaten here before we told her we had a booking but didn't know where to go. She told us to go upstairs. We went upstairs and at least 4 different employees walked by without greeting us. It was obvious we didn't have a clue and we even walked around to see if there was a podium somewhere. We eventually gave up and went back downstairs.
There were 2 bartenders there. The guy was finishing taking payment so we walked over to him. He didn't make eye contact and walked away. Leaving us with the same young lady.
We told her we were ignored upstairs and just wanted to order food.
Another lady came over to take the order. We ordered the special that is advertised on the website and all over the building, ribs.
We were told they were out of ribs. 2 Sundays in a row to get ribs and haven't tasted them.
Service was horrible so it's safe to say we will never be back.
What a shame we were hoping to make this our new local.

We visited this venue for a dinner catch up and were seated outside on the balcony. Food is ordered from the bar and was delicious and well priced. Entertainment downstairs was perfect for an after dinner drink and dance.

Went here with a group of friends on a quiet week night. Ordered and paid for the approx $47 scotch fillet. Got a 300g rump instead. Wasn't prepared for another long wait for the right meal. But feeling pretty ripped off.

Although quieter than it might usually be, Terrigal Pub is still the place to be on the weekend. The upstairs bistro has a small but solid menu with a "curated" menu of cocktails and the average pub staples, whilst punters can easily find a home in the tab sections downstairs.
I would love to see the no smoking rules enforced a little more but will absolutely be back.

I love this place. Great food, great staff and a nice atmosphere. I also like that theyre very covid safe and follow covid rules/suggestions. Makes me feel safe to go there.Really like the food here and the drinks are not too shabby either. Well priced!!!

Great pub, good food and friendly staff. Have been going here for years! Loads of nice areas to sit with friends, two floors and outside areas! Awesome pub! Im glad its my local! Cheers
