This place was amazing. Great value, the striploin I had was perfectly tender and wasn't chewy at all. The only critique was it was quiet loud given the number of patrons there so we found ourselves yelling at the table but otherwise, fantastic food and value.

I really enjoyed our visit! Old-school pub vibe, friendly helpful staff, great selection of beers on tap and really cheap happy hour prices!! The food specials were the best I've seen in a long time and quality was spot on, service time was fast too! Plenty of space for us to play cards at our table, I would have given 5 stars if it didn't smell strongly of cigarette smoke inside. We live in W.A and it made our experience of the area a good one, I'll visit again if we are ever in the area ??'?

Amazing food. 10 / 10. Seats cant be booked unless you go online and it is hard to get a seat. But definaltey worth it. There are not many seats so book if you can. Totally worth it. Good happy hour drink prices as well. Can order at bar or with QR. Highly recommended ??'?

I visit for the $16 steak with a drink. Great value and a choice of chips and salad mash and vegetables. Always well.cooked. The service is very good and as the restaurant part is in the "sports" part of the hotel there is a variety of things to watch on the various televisions

Great value special available every day rump or schnitzel and 2 sides and a drink for $16. If the drink is soft drink it includes free refills. Always good uplift and fast. Staff are perfectly welcoming. Venue is loud at times but it's a local pub so you tend to expect that. Definitely gets busy around dinner time. Pokies area is a little sad but that's more personal preference than anything unexpected. Parking available with a weird token system that seems not to work more often that it does. Otherwise park over in the council carpark also free. Highly recommend.

I can't speak highly enough of this place.

Food is affordable, well prepared and the venue staff are friendly and professional.

You're only paying about 50-60% of what you would for any of the other pubs in the Botany/Mascot area for a better quality meal, and they know how to cook a steak medium rare.

Has the chilled, friendly atmosphere of a local family pub, and is putting back in the area with what has been missing for the best part of 10 years.

For too long now it's been the same pubs with rude service and overpriced food, so the Tennyson is a much needed shot in the arm for the local pub scene.

Nowhere else comes close to a good 250g steak with sides and a drink for $16.

Will be going here over any of the pubs within a 5 min walk.

Affordable steak with a glass of beer for only $16.We definitely come here again even if we live in Stanmore.The only thing that I didn't like much was the gravy but location wise and customer service were great.??I would say 4 and a half stars.??

Great food at a grate price at this pub! I love the pulled pork burrito! The staff are always friendly and very accomodating. A great range of food on the menu and close to a car park if u aren't driving. Where you sit and eat has a strong smell of cigarettes which is a shame if you aren't a smoker and the ladies toilets smell very bad for some reason! Recommend the food though!

Our cruise was delayed so we missed our flights and decided to pop into the Tennyson hotel. The staff are absolutely fantastic, so friendly and in particular the lady who served us??

Excellent local pub with fantastic $16 meal and drink deal. We ordered the steak ? and vegetables which were cooked perfectly. Great service and easy parking in the Council car park. I don't know how they offer such great value for money ??'? but am not complaining. You couldn't make this meal yourself along with a beer ? or wine ? at this price. Highly recommended.

Brilliant. We were staying overnight at the airport for an early flight and went to the Tennyson for dinner. Special I wanted wasn't available but dealt with by staff in a very professional manner. Service top notch and enjoyed the foof. Beer selection could be better hence the 4*

As Bob said "All pub food should be like this." Hearty, generous, delicious, inexpensive and quick to arrive. The dining room was very comfortable and roomy too and on the day we went lots of sun was pouring through the windows. Staff were lovely and the restrooms clean.

What a great find! $9.90 steak, chips and salad every day and it was such great quality. The rest of the menu looked fantastic also. A mix of traditional pub and Asian food that is well priced.

Feel like I'd like this place a lot more if I was a tradie or a lollipop crossing guard but I'm not so it wasn't really my vibe. Heaps of pokies, I feel like older men and backpackers would find it more their scene. Staff were friendly tho!

The Tennyson offers some great value $10 meals.The staff are friendly and offer great customer service.A significant part of the pub is dedicated to gambling with numerous screens where you can watch all types of racing and the various football codes.The pub has a 70s feel about the place and it could do with a major refurbishment.

Looks a little rough from the outside but don't let that put you off they have fantastic food very tasty and it's a very nice place inside. The $10 steak is fab, it comes with chips and salad and sauce and is very worthwhile. We've been here a few times and we love the food and drink. Nice little pub we you can have a casual dinner.

Went in for dinner Monday night & it was brilliant food all for under $50. $9.9 steak perfect (I like it medium ) mash made properly, missus had a parmy first time I have ever seen her finish. Good Couple of soft drink to wash down. See you guys again soon.
