First time at this Hotel , and enjoyed everything about it. Nice clean venue , great location. We were lucky enough to be served by Kristina and she was polite and went above and beyond to make sure her patrons were treated well. Thank you Kristina for making our visit an enjoyable one.

This one's one of the best pubs I've ever been too food was amazing service was fast and polite. Also would like to give a thank you to the blonde girl I think she's the manager she was so welcoming and had great manners.

My family and I always come to this pub and we enjoy it so much. Angie made our experience just that much better! Her customer service is excellent. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sunny Bank Hotel for the first time and it exceeded all my expectations. I live nearby so I came here very often to play the pokies. Actually it is the busiest tavern I've ever seen in Australia cause most of the time it was overcrowded by people. My experience here was quite nice as most of my time spent here was playing pokies so the staff walked by was always very nice and offered food and drinks. But just 5 hours ago, when I was there, the place was full of people. Every machine had been occupied. Me and my friend was walking around to find a free one, and we encountered a same waitress for twice or three times. She was also the one who offered me drinks when I played in the afternoon. As she's kind beautiful and friendly in the afternoon so I once had very good impression about her. But last night, when she ran into us at the third time, she said, guys, you always blocked my way, it's been a trouble for us. If you are not playing, please leave this place and stop blocking the way. I was shocked by the rudeness as just few hours ago I was still thinking she's the nicest girl in that place. Recently I've played and lost around $5000 over there but I didn't hate that place as I knew gambling has odds to lose. But the way she treated me at Saturday night really pissed me off.

Excellent service! Came in last night with a big group and I'm sure we didn't make things easy with our constant string of cocktail orders. The staff were super patient and accommodating, 10/10 experience.

I always have a fantastic experience at Sunnybank Hotel. The food is exceptional, with a wide variety on offer. The fishbowl cocktails are just the best. The service is consistently top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who make me feel welcome. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return for another great time.

Had a great experience with Angie and the team! They set up and blocked off a function space with the footy on the big screen for our club trophy presentation. Nibbles and food provided (chicken Kiev bites were the best!). It made the experience more personal so Thankyou for that!

Not a hotel review but restaurant and pool bar. I haven't been here in a generation but gotta say that the variety of food on the menu was refreshing. I was able to have a choice of salads with my meal and even my kids were able to choose a salad which was a relief as they dislike chips and fried food generally. We received great service from all staff with our large group,

but Michael was a standout!

I took a group of 17 of my staff to the Sunnybank Hotel for a staff get together. The hotel reserved 3 tables for me in the Sports bar. I purchase 3 of their food platters. Reasonably priced and plenty of food. There was that much food we could not eat it all. The food was great. The sports bar is big with plenty of room inside and outside. The staff were excellent and friendly. We set up a bar tab and they kept me informed when we got close to the balance I had stated. All the other patrons we very friendly as well. I would highly recommend the hotel for a function or just a drink and a bet or to watch a sporting event. There were so many TV's throughout the bar and TAB area. I will be taking my staff back for sure.

Our second stay at this motel and very satisfying. Handy for most bus routes. Rooms clean and housekeeping ever day; a problem with our kettle was fixed immediately, so no arguments from us! If you are looking for comfortable, non-purse-strangling accommodation, then this is a very nice place to stay!
As for the food in the adjoining pub, the prices are very competitive and the food well-presented and tasty. The Manager, Michael, is attentive to guests and always keen to ensure your satisfaction.

As usual the food and service has been amazing here at the Sunnybank HOTEL. Caitlin and Chloe as well as Mitchell provided an excellent place to enjoy my Sunday lunch with my kids and their friends. The 11 of us had a terrific time. Thanks again. It's a pleasure to come often and also see Angie, Deb and Kyla. Great team you have Michael.

Just got home from a lovely evening catch up with friends from work. The hotel staff have been wonderful from organising this evening until we left.
The food was lovely and the service great even with so many of us at the same table. The staff have been so helpful and friendly it has been a pleasure to dine here. Would definitely look at coming back here again.

My mum had a birthday dinner here and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special time for her. Really big shout out to Rhiannon (sorry if I got that wrong). She was amazing, kind and helpful!

We had an enjoyable dining experience at Sunnybank hotel - Staff and Manager were very helpful and friendly. We ordered the Broncos Angus steak with chips / salad which was so delicious. We definitely will come back again ?

We went as a group of four to make the most of trying entrees as a new place, and we have no regrets. Everything was excellent. Staff were friendly, quick, and responsive. Food felt like it was brought out in less than 10 minutes. Amazing experience, will be back.

Love the service and the food here. Staff are always super efficient and friendly. Steaks are always well cooked, risotto is another favourite. Aussie burger with chips is always a big hit. Can't forget the salmon - another favourite that is cooked perfectly.

Bar has always been the same since decades ago, same as for the gambler's corner. Very chuffed at their current $5.50 schooner all day special, in these inflated times this is quite a pleasant surprise.

Restaurant area is very well appointed and has excellent vision of the screens showing the game.

The initial introduction of this place was pretty good. What let it down for us was the time it took for food to come out, the quality, taste and portion size of the food on each of our plates. A little over priced for what it's worth. Can find better and have had much better in other locations of Brisbane that is very similar. Would rush to have a meal here though the beer was good & appreciated on a warm day.

Stumbled across this beauty when we needed emergency accommodation. Katie was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. From making dinner reservations in the bistro to suggesting local places of interest and even helping out with my kids upon check-in, nothing was a problem for her. All the staff are wonderful and friendly, the facility and venue is really nice and we will definitely be stopping in every time we are on the south side.

Hands down the best meal I've had in a long time! Everything about this meal and the service was absolute perfection!
Steak cooked to perfection, chips crispy and hot, salad fresh and crunchy delicious dressing, mushroom gravy wonderful. I could not fault anything about this dish.
Timing from order to food being ready was great and staff there are absolutely wonderful!

We had our daughter's birthday dinner tonight and the food and service was fantastic. All 8 meals were delicious and the staff were all so lovely and welcoming. Michael the Assistant Manager was really helpful and the atmosphere was great!
We have been in for a few meals over the last few months and I have to say the consistency has been on point. Not one bad meal in the past few months.

My family and I flew from both Melbourne and Sydney for my brother's wedding. We booked 5 rooms for 7 nights.

We all absolutely enjoyed our stay here!!! The hotel is in a perfect location.... Shopping malls, restaurants, supermarkets are literally across the road from the hotel. The House keeping staff were very friendly.

5 out of the 7 days we were there, we ate at the Hotels bistro, because... well, to be honest - because we were staying at the hotel, we were entitled to a 20%discount off our meals. The meals were filling, the staff were very very pleasant and if ever I were to come to Brisbane again - this is where I would be staying.

Nice convenient pub close to everything in Sunnybank. Meals are nice and well priced. Eating area seems to be in the sports bar, little noisy at times. Nice gaming area also. Worth a visit.

I visit the Sunnybank Hotel often for dinner or lunch and my family absolutely loves the menu as do I, it has a wonderful variety and something to suit everyone. Food is fresh and delicious and pricing is good too.
Recently I attended a work function there and my colleagues and I had a truly top night.
Michael and Aly tended to our needs and were constantly checking to see if everything was to our satisfaction and it was, all the staff were great and friendly. Thank you so much Michael for making us welcome and keeping us happy.

A pleasant surprise for a pub meal celebrating an in-laws birthday. While a few mistakes were made to orders (such as items being unavailable despite payment), the overall vibe and food quality was excellent.

Because I didn't quite understand the menu app a dark haired, mature female staff member was extremely rude to me. At 67 years old I don't need that thanks. She made me feel very unwelcome so I left without the lunch I was looking forward too. Courtesy is free but my patronage is not. Learn some basic professionalism.

Despite its recent makeover this place remains essentially the same. Not awful, service is fine but if you're expecting anything further than a basic place to have a drink... then look elsewhere.

Inside the place looked clean and tidy, when ordering of the food you needed to line up at the bar and was a little slow, however that was due to a staff member training and I guess being nervous, it would have been good if they had a support person with them until they could handle it. Food was good, it came out together for our table. Serving sizes were huge and I only had an entree, my group had mains they were twice the size, reasonably well priced. Calamari was cooked to perfection! Staff were friendly and went beyond their call of duty to take photos of our group for us. We went on a Monday night and it was very quiet.

Tired and basic but very comfortable. Cheap accommodation with great bed and pillows.The pub is great for a meal and games. The hotel is a little old and dated but the staff were really friendly and provided excellent service. The food was good and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Serving size was good for a lunch but a little small if it was for a dinner.$8 coffee and cake is a winner as well!!

I love this place, it also happens to be my local. All the staff are great people, and they are always ready to help whenever needed. The restaurant does a nice meal and the gaming options are excellent. There is also only a handful of places in Brisbane that have Keno Racing , and the Sunnybank Hotel is one of them.

As a disabled person with limited use of one leg, I was refused service after a fall where I smshed my right cheek. The staff member helping me up was understanding but was informed to cut me off. I had exhibited no signs of intoxication different from my initial arrival. Very disappointed that they could not distinguish my accidental fall from my disability that other staff were aware of.
