Ordered the superfood salad with chicken, which was pretty good, though definitely needs more/a different type of dressing. It was to add the chicken, which was super reasonable, and it came with 5 tenderloins - 3 would have been more than enough and still a good price.

Everyone else we were there with said their food was alright, nothing really was a standout but if you're keen on a quick meal this is the place to go.

Service was okay at best, the lady who served us clearly didn't want to be there.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sugergum hotel, and it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and seated promptly in a beautifully designed space that felt both elegant and cozy.

The menu offered a wide variety of options, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into curating dishes that cater to all tastes. I started with the Garlic Bread, which was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. For my main course, I chose the tri meat, and it was simply divine - cooked to perfection with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The dessert was the perfect ending to the meal, with just the right balance of sweetness and flavor.

Every aspect of the meal was thoughtfully crafted, making it an unforgettable dining experience. From the first bite to the last, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impeccable.

Overall, the Sugergum hotel restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back soon!

Nice upgrade of venue.

We had porterhouse, perfectly cooked.
The veg was sadly boiled broccoli and carrot, not tasty at all, sorry I didn't take a clear pic of meal.
Would have preferred the ones in website pic.
The baked potatoes were yummy.

Desert: sticky date was yummy too.
Service was great, atmosphere, rushed but good.

Great meals, great service.

Really hot day, playground on higher level was like an oven.

We were there for a birthday party the room was nicely decorated but not very private. We were a group of 30 plus, we all ordered food roughly at the same time. Our table was served some 40 minutes after everyone else, we even had to chase up with the staff 3 meals for our table of 6. The quality of the food did not match the price. Two meals out of our 6 were inedible, one was grilled fish, very small portion of fish and large portion of chips. The other, last meal to be served was overcooked chicken and cold.

Always a pleasure coming to Sugar Gum. The food and atmosphere are awesome. Just ordered and finished the Texan Parma. What a meal. So tasty and a large serve that I didn't think that I'd finish it but I did. Every meal that I've ordered has been the same from fish with chips to the veal stack to the burgers. Cheers Sugar Gum our go to place for a meal with friends or on our own. It would be nice if they had something like a lentil salad for diabetic diet but still well done. Cheers
