And we wonder WHY St Kilda footy club can\'t and won\'t win a premiership anytime soon.

Ordered a membership for my grandson in early December 2025 (as a Christmas present) and it\'s now end of January and it still hasn\'t arrived.......Not due until February 2026.

Pathetic, disappointing.....but clearly shows the culture at the club.

Shame, shame, shame.......

I visited RSEA Park in October 2025 for the Collingwood vs St Kilda AFLW game, which also happened to be Pride Round, and they really went all out! The atmosphere was so good and the ground was full of fun things to do. Getting there was pretty easy as we drove in, though parking at the venue filled up quickly. We ended up finding a spot at a nearby store, which worked perfectly. Entry was smooth, with tickets scanned at the main indoor foyer where we grabbed some free St Kilda posters. Tickets were under $20, which is such great value and the season passes are even better. Honestly, you could buy an AFLW membership for every Victorian club for the same cost as one AFLM membership!

Before finding our seats, we stopped by the small cafe inside for lunch. I grabbed chips and a Coke before we headed outside to explore the grounds. Since it was a sunny day, we decided to sit on the lawn behind the goals instead of under the covered stands. There were food trucks scattered around the oval, and my friends grabbed burgers while we enjoyed the game.

During the breaks, there were so many activities to check out. I got glitter painted on my face for Pride Round, and they also had free face painting and airbrush tattoos. One of the food stalls was even selling fresh crepes! The family friendly carnival vibe was everywhere, and it made the whole day extra special. After the game, we lined up for the Ferris wheel set up beside the ground which was only $3 per person. The wait was around fifteen minutes, but it flew by since we could still see the end of the game from the line. Everyone loved it from little kids to older fans. There was also a silent disco nearby that looked like so much fun, and I wish I'd joined in!

Even though Collingwood didn't get the win, we got to go onto the field afterward for kick to kick and then headed over to see the players near the rooms. Getting out of the venue was quick and easy too. Overall, it honestly felt like a carnival mixed with a football game. My first AFLW experience couldn't have been better, and I can't wait to go back again!

Modern, but ordinary venue, no clear public toilets, reasonable shelter from the elements, nor obvious catering. Of course, if you are a member of sorts, or a player, I am sure you are well looked after. So they don\'t give a tinkers cuss for the viewing public. So it\'s just another football oval with a $15 entry fee to see your family member, friend etc play, for which they pay for anyway

This new ground is not as good as the old moorabbin ground for watching a game of football. Stand is too small, not enough food or drink serving areas. And viewing area is flat instead of graded so it\'s hard to see the play.
