Service was excellent and had an amazing seafood basket was made fresh not that frozen stuff

Terrific venue for a family meal. The food is as good as you will get in a tavern. Much better than when I visited this venue a few years back. Also great facilities for disabled. Nice wheelchair access and great toilet facilities for people in wheelchair as well. Top marks and thank you!!

Nice and simple pub.

Food was delicious and served quick. They were happy to cater to my daughters wants.

Slightly pricier than other pubs I've been too but that could be a difference in what's normal in that state.

Great pub, jukebox stacked with the latest hits and some classics as well. They were good enough to provide some live entertainment. A clean venue with plenty of hand sanitizer. We have to go over the road to buy some sugar which is probably it's only downfall.

This place has no atmosphere. I ordered a roast with veggies and was served Frozen vegetables. Very disappointed. I would never go there or recommend to anyone.

Travelling from interstate and staying nearby in Margate. Could not get an Uber or Taxi so we walked. Kitchen closes very early. They told us 7:45 PM but would stay open till 8. We asked if we could place a phone order and pay in advance, They said no. We arrived at 7:50 and the kitchen was closed. The staff and owner laughed at my son who was having an asthma attack after running to get there on time. They closed the bottle shop early to spite us. Extremely rude. Don't go there if your a visitor. Leave Smug Tavern to the local alco's, try the local Chinese restaurant instead, amazing food.

Popped through when we were staying in Snug for lunch. Partner and I both got the Godfather Parmi - it was huge! 100% real chicken breast and both my partner and I couldn't finish it (quite a feat for him). Very reasonable pricing, highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner when you're in town.

We dropped into the Snug Tavern for lunch in the Mustang run... I had the Salmon that was really nice, good service and great company...

Staff very helpful and friendly. Meals were lovely and cooked nicely and in a timely manner. Definitely reccommend

Really bad service, no one in the pub had 2 people serving patron's had to wait 5min to be served at least twice in the same visit I was there. Workers need to wake up. Very disappointed with the bar staff.

Needs to seriously rethink its business. Closed on Tuesday at 5:30pm with no signage nor explanation. Tavern and bottle shop both dark... hope they didn't have a disaster!
