The bar staff who is a Thai man There is no friendliness. Many times we came to use the service. Her face is like not willing to serve. I don't understand if he knows the service to customers or not .he should get trained before coming to work in the service. Thank you!

This is one of our frequent lunch places when we are working in the office. $15 steaks and normally a featured beer special makes it an affordable carnivores lunch spot... and the steaks are pretty good too. They decor is sort of RSL style, but it's the cheap food that keeps us going.

I recently went to Sanctuary Hotel in Sydney, and overall, it was an okay experience. The happy hour, however, was a definite highlight. The drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was relaxing. If you're looking for a decent place to enjoy a happy hour, this hotel might be worth considering.

Great deal for a wagyu steak with pretty plating for only $30! I'd say it's better than the steak I had in rock pool or some other decent restaurants. Plus they offer $10 chicken schnitzel and fries on Thursdays, what else can you ask for...

Wagyu Sirloin special is a steal at $30 - nicely cooked, soft & tender, with plenty of beefy flavour.
Quality is honestly as good if not better than many steaks 2x the price - enjoyed it certainly more than some fancy steakhouses in Sydney.

$10 Schnitzel special is honestly what you'd expect - can't complain for the price, but if I had to nitpick the fries are soft and soggy.

This place was amazing when they just opened after Don Quijote tapas closed. Years ago. Considering the cheap price the food average. What I really hated about this place yesterday, it was the skinny, pretty, dark, Indian looking girl at the bar serving around 6:00pm. She has such an attitude, very impatient and rude, she kind of no have much tolerance with the customer, she rushed me to order with her attitude, she is rude, no manners at all, no hello, no thank you. No nothing, what a disappointment

Went to the Sanctuary hotel during the week to have a drink and get a meal after work. The beers are cold and a good selection on tap! Good choices for meals and very reasonable specials. I ordered a Scotch Fillet chips and salad with pepper sauce. The meal cost $33 and the sauce an additional $3. Steak was well cooked but a little fatty. Salad was fresh and well dressed. I'd say nothing fancy and a very basic pub meal.

The steak special was definitely value for money. Gaming area separate from the dining area. Worth going back again

Went here on a Friday night with the boys. Had tons of drinks and they were all reasonably priced. Played card games at one of the back tables but unfortunately never had a chance to play pool at the tables in the back. Was pretty crowded, I suggest coming on a different day, but it was fun!

Tucked away in the middle of the city, it's a good place to grab a pub lunch. I assume it's equally fun in the evenings but haven't had a chance yet. The lunch deals are pretty good and worth it.

When hanging out friends the atmosphere can be great.

Popular location for pre-drinks and it's easy to see why with cheap drinks. An Alize lemonade is only $8 and cocktails $12. The food is also great value, a steak and chips will only cost you $12 on some days. My mates and I come here all the time, whether its for drinks on a Friday night or before an event later on.

Unfortunately ventured into this mini RSL club/ graveyard on Saturday night, only to have the old skinny fella managing go off his brain because we hadn't completed the Covid check-in within 3 seconds of entering. I understand it would be difficult being that age and still managing a pub but please don't take it out on your customers. Won't be returning and maybe consider hiring people who actually have customer service skills.

Favourite bar to enjoy some drinks and hqve a good talk with friends. Always love the vibe and the music is not overpowering the ambience.

Not my scene but convenient location for a quick drink before dinner. 5 stars for the barmen and his service.
