Not 1, not 2, but FOUR members of their incompetent staff approached me to ask for ID, which admittedly was expired by 2 months, but none of them knew the laws about it. One said "oh I think the rule is it needs to be expired within the past year" so I pointed out how it's only 2 months so it fits with his logic. Despite that he still said it needs to be valid? From my understanding, a driver's licence can be used as ID as long as it's expired within the past 2 years and if that's the case, please train your staff to know this too. Unbelievable that FOUR people working at a BAR don't know such a basic thing.

We had K chicken, wedges. Foods are generous and delicious !!

Staff is very attentive as coming around and asking if we need anymore side dishes.

I had a few beers only so can't comment on or rate the food. Beer was cold and wet. Staff did their job well. A friendly atmosphere.

One of my local pubs. Reasonable prices on the beers. Staff are friendly. Added bonus is the Korean fried chicken place inside the pub.

It's a really nice place for drinks and food but order Korean specialties only, as anything Korean would be A+, like the chicken burger (you know Korean friend chicken) which was A+. On the negative, Pasta was far below average, you can tell it was made by someone who has no idea what pasta should taste like. Bottom line - nice place for chilled drinks, but if you want food, only order Korean.

The team here are amazing! The food is great! Amanda (the manager) is so welcoming and friendly! We come here to play pool repeatedly because of the management! Highly recommended! It feels really homely to be here! Must visit!

Have been here many a time. It's a bit random that West Ryde pub specialised in Korean and i normally am not a fan of ordering something completely different to the restaurant like ordering lamb cutlets at a chinese restaurant etc. but this Korean just works!

Pub style dining, the service is almost instant always and consistent. Locals only it feels like and everyone normally orders off the Korean menu rather than the traditional pub dishes they also have.

I have tried other bibimbap's but this is still the best in Sydney hands down! Such a hidden gem.

Best Korean chicken in the area, delicious, crisp and tasty. Can't go wrong here, they have lots of other menu items, but Ive only ever tried the Korean fried chicken because it's so good.

The venue doesn't say much, but the food at Red Pepper is very very good! The seasoned fried chicken is delicious, the classic one is ok. The panko fried prawns are so cheap and so generous, and so is the shoestring fries!
It's become my go-to place when I'm looking for some comfort food, so yummy!

Cool chilled vibe. Very relaxed, nice decor. Side dishes were good size. I ordered the Iced mango with vodka bubble tea. Was amazing. Chicken was extremely crispy and Grech. So tasty. Highly recommended.

We brought our team here to celebrate a significant milestone. From ordering dinner to desert the service was very hostile and unpleasant. Several our staff members felt very uncomfortable and left as a result. Such a shame. The venue is great but the customer service is very poor. Don't recommend.

Nice pub, Friendly staff, beers priced well

Let me start this off by saying that I have been going to this pub over a series of several months at a variety of times to get a decent vibe of the place.
Never in all of my years have I seen such a potentially great pub with fantastic placement within the area be used up and wasted on the dole bludgers and degenerates of society. The bar staff seem to always be doing their best and the food at the Korean Restaurant is always lovely and fresh.
I however must let all reading be aware to stay away from the outdoor smoking area at all times. Lest you be set upon by what can only be described as the waiting lobby of Centrelink. Outside I can only sum up as this one fella in a Rabbitohs shirt has about as many teeth in his head as he does braincells, around about 5.

Terrible, rude and shamefull service is all I can say.. what was once our local (for several friends) has treated us worse and worse over time with the some of the new barstaff being hands down the rudest and least motivated bunch of people you have ever met.Korean food they have now is great and its a shame we wont be eating in there anymore.Luckily I just found out I can at least order that online so we will continue to avoid this place like the plague which is exactly what I suggest you do.

Lovely staff. Place needs a refurbishment. Dirtiest seats in Sydney. Expensive drinks for this area.

They were more than happy to take $ when i placed my bet .Returned next day to collect and they said sorry we dont have your cash.Why have tab facility if you dont like paying up?

Nice pub style bistro, with a standard pub menu. Had the T-bone steak, and it was a low quality piece of meat with lots of gristle. It was a big serve though (came in 2 pieces for some strange reason), with lots of chips and salad. Also got the pork chop and it was quite good, surprised me with the curry powder/paste inside. Serves are quite large with generous salad and chips.
The fried chicken is good but a bit pricey
