Jen and the staff at Ryde Parramatta Golf club are amazing! I held my engagement party in their main "Tudor" room and it was absolutely spectacular. The guests were raving about how wonderful the food was and how lovely the room looked. The planning process was made simple and easy by Jen and the day went by so well! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The grounds of the golf club are breathtaking and the perfect backdrop for both a ceremony and the reception. The photo opportunities on the course are absolutely beautiful (special thanks to Kev for taking us out across the course to see where the best places for photos were!). Our guests have not stopped telling us how much they enjoyed our wedding and the venue.
To say that Jen was fantastic simply does not do her justice. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in the very best of hands for our wedding. Throughout every step of the ceremony and reception planning process, Jen was supportive, communicative and highly organised. Before we'd even thought to ask a question, Jen already had the information for us. From sourcing vendors to helpful suggestions to preparing run sheets - she was on top of everything. Furthermore, every interaction with Jen was an absolute delight. She is warm, empathetic and kindness personified.

We both look back on our wedding day with nothing but unadulterated joy and delight. Thank you RPGC and Jen for making our special day absolutely magical!

DISASTER- we made the mistake of hosting our event here. After hosting two parties here, we thought we would be getting the same level of service, but boy I was taken on a roller coaster ride during my event. Firstly we were by Jen the event manager that we would have privacy during our event as there is construction happening and access to the bar is limited. Though on the day we had other diners sit close to the dance floor, gawk at us and take the liberty to enjoy the entertainment we hired!
#2. Inadequate staffing- beware if you host your event on a Sunday there is a Sunday surcharge- nothing wrong with this- but one would assume for a event for 60 people you would have adequate number of staff present, though at our event the staff were too busy with their regular customers so our event didn't get adequate drink service, expect your guests to get their own drinks despite what you agree with Jen.
#3. If you plan to play your own music, don't- get a DJ, unless you know how to figure out their sound system because the staff don't.
#4. Missing event manager: i suggests hiring someone to look after your event on the day if you don't want undue stress. The club management don't care about your event after receiving your money. Weeks prior to my event, the event manager Jen advised she wouldn't be there but assured my event will be looked after. But on the day, the same staff looking after the regular members are running around like headless chickens, no effort from management to add more staff.
The three staff had no clue about the requirements of my event: only one table was served tea and coffee, they didn't bother asking other tables.

From the moment we visited Ryde Parramatta Golf Club to enquire about event space for a wake, we knew we had made the right choice. Their Events Manager, Jen, is very professional, attentive, caring, and had helpful suggestions for us that made all the decision making very easy. Her communication was always clear and concise, which made the otherwise difficult task of arranging a wake a seamless experience. Thank you.

Have been a member for a while. Great curse. Management is very weak and lately it has be come a very racist . Not something that is warranted. It feels everyone and anyone can say whatever they want. Bar staff are so in experienced. There is no process, rules or regulation in place. The place needs a complete makeover to be honest . A Complete comedy club. Enough is enough.

I was told that I needed to wear white socks if I wanted a game. Luckily, someone had a spare pair. I don't understand what difference is to what colour socks i wear? Are they living in the pre 1980's?
Also, the kiosk would not serve me because i had no mask. There was no one around at all so there was no risk of COVID to anyone.
When I went in to the clubhouse, I didn't have to wear a mask at the bar or anywhere despite there being people everywhere!
Why the double standard?
I'm a 3 marker and was thinking of joining as I've just moved in to the area.. Not now. I'll go on the waitlist for Concord or join Oatlands.
They are much more consistent with their rules and lenient about the dress code.

Nicely maintained and clean golf course

Nicely maintained and clean golf course. Great place to enjoy a game of golf with friends and family.

This is a short 9 (or 11 with 2 alternate greens) hole golf course. Facilities are quite dated, but acceptable.

Fairways and greens are adequately kept - bearing in mind it's not a pretentious club.

Some of the par 4's are quite short and are driveable in one if your a longer hitter.

Its generally not hugely busy, so if your after a quick 9 hole game it's worth a visit.

Friendly staff and excellent services

Just one game at Ryde-Parramatta Golf Club has propelled it onto my favourite course list. This awesome layout is in immaculate condition & on top of that theres terrific practice facilities & a coffee shop with food & cold beers. What more could you want? #mavosgolfblog

Best golf course I have ever played, very good and friendly green staff, bar staff and administration. I wish I lived closer. Very high standard of quality of grounds and very good course design, is well suited to big hitters. I really enjoyed being a member at the club expect for a few unfortunate disagreements/"incidents" with fellow members. Don't let that discourage you from playing at this amazing golf course. I always try recommend this course to my fellow golfers. It is a great place to be member and I hope to return one day.

I really enjoyed this golf course. Played the vardon event on Sat. A very strategic course with many blind spots and overhanging trees. 1st and 10th holes are very tough. You must do a bit of preparation before playing. Get your distances and know where the bailout areas are. 2 extremely long par 5's (could not reach in two). Keep it on the f'way and you should be fine. Course was in excellent condition.
