Very disappointed, I've been going to tavern to enjoy bingo for yrs with a friend always get dinner while there never faulted the staff or food.
So we decided to go to restaurant on 13.9.24
Which we've always once again had great service and food.
Not this night
One meal came out before our entree so enquired, young girl took meal placed it under the heat lamp until garlic bread arrived then no sooner it arrived both meals were delivered, first sat under the heat for 15mins fish,chips, salad it was warm
Chicken schnitzel was chewing and veges soggy.
Amber asked how meals were we explained she was very apologetic offered us drinks we accepted a coffee, after clearing our tables sat for another 1/2hr waiting still no coffees
Not one of those girls acknowledged us rest of the service.
We walked out with still no acknowledgement.

Service was good and venue was suitable for our needs ( dog friendly). Seniors meals were very small and not worth the $16 each.
Not likely to return.

A typical local tavern lacking atmosphere and quality meals. If you're after a mid week dinner stop then you might enjoy a quick in and out but give it a miss if you're after something nice. Vibes kind of remind me of the old bowls clubs.

Heard good things but was extremely disappointed in the food.

3 of 4 meals were barely touched.

Upside. The atmosphere was ok. Nice music.

Enjoyed the wings. Good dish to share with friends.

Issues:

The roast of the day was chicken. Chicken was so dry it was it was uneaten. Seemed like a cold chicken reheated.

Chicken hamburger and chips - chips were good. Burger was poor. The patty is low quality. Uneaten

Barramundi and veg - veg not cooked. Potatoes are uneatable, and they couldn't cut through them. Barra was fine.

General comments - placed the order on the app.

When wings came, we asked a question about it being the right sauce. We were told it was. It was obviously wrong. Took it back. The chef argued it was what we ordered. We asked to change it regardless. Upon returning to the table, we checked the app, and we had ordered the correct thing. Even if we hadn't, from a service perspective, it was no issue to change a little container with sauce in it. Why argue?

There was one lady working the floor that had a clue. Well done to her. She was diligently cleaning, serving and checking outcomes.

Highly likely, we won't return to this venue.
