Best pub grub with ice cold drinks and friendly staff

Never had a bad meal here. The staff are friendly and the beers icy cold.

Building our house at Waterview heights and stopped at The Royal for some lunch with friends. Have found the meals are like the old fahion days generous and tasty. The special on this occasion 2nd to none sensational home made chicken Kiev the size of a pie with fresh garlic butter on the side and the best chips around all for $12 - WOW

The meals here are some of the best in the clarence valley. A very fair price for a large meal. The beers are always cold and the staff are great and willing to help their customers.

Nice quiet local pub. Great meal with perfect service and hospitality.

Super friendly. Food came out really quick, was well priced and tasty. Bonus points as staff provided water for my dog. Good country pub.

Went in for a meal and was very satisfied with the service and the food. Beer was cold the food was hot and fresh. No regrets going to the Royal.

Was there for a funeral wake but the staff where lovely so helpful and amazing service. Prices are amazing not over priced food was served fast n hot we had alot of ppl there n they where amazing couldnt have asked for a better place or service will be back again thank you to all the staff ur amazing

Went for Fathers Day lunch today! Booked for a 12pm lunch booking.Ordered lunch waited about 15 minutes for food which was great being it was a busy day.Finished lunch at around 12:45, had also spent money on alcohol and pokies. The Covid Marshall proceeded to our table at 1pm asking had we finished eating? Our reply sure have it was delicious Thankyou! He then proceeded to say to us well you now have to move we have your table booked for someone else! Mind you we were sitting at our table drinking and enjoying family time still spending money.I proceeded to ask oh ok I would have loved to have been informed about that prior to booking or we would have booked elsewhere! I also asked ok well we wanted to stay and have a few drinks and listen to the music where are we going to sit we arnt able to stand because of the covid rules! His reply sit with someone else or I dunno. So disappointed in the way we were treated when we had booked a table for the security of being able to have the table on Fathers Day!
