Tried their chicken burger recently and it's easily one of the best burgers I've ever tried , also with a free pint of beer with any burger on sundays , amazing . It's 7 stars from me

The Staff are amazing, you couldn't ask for a friendly bunch.

Room was upgraded without even asking. Just needed a vacuum under the bed.

We attended this hotel to watch the Matilda's play their match against France on the big screen . After trying about eight controllers , none of them worked on that TV , but my son in law sorted it .
Staff very busy , but worked hard to keep the numerous patrons well lubricated and happy . Food of good quality, three of us had the Guinness pie and thoroughly enjoyed it . If on the menu , would recommend. An old style pub that still hits its straps .

Staff lovely food and location great! the only downfall was our room.. we were sneezing and nose constantly running because how dusty the room was. Maybe need to pay more attention to the cleaning the curtains and vacuuming of whole room. But other then that location very close and central to a lot of places mall, city etc.

Room was fine. Large and clean. Shared bathrooms weren't great as the toilet near us didn't lock and the women's showers weren't open. The showers that were available didn't have anywhere to place your dry clothes like a stool or bench, nothing. The toilet I used didn't have soap and was a little dirty. This place was maybe just a little better than a backpackers but 5x the price.

Stayed there for 1 night, was pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff. Licensee and Hotel Manager were great as well as the bar staff, very accommodating.
Water pressure in the showers was fantastic. Would visit again :)

We came from Perth a few weeks ago and stayed here and it was so lovely. We had a little issue with getting into our room, but the staff quickly sorted it for us and took care of our bags. The rooms were very nice, especially for the very low price, shared bathrooms weren't a problem at all. We had the Veggie burgers for dinner and they were incredible! Little noisy on the first night but it was fine. The amazing staff make the place so worth it!!

I understand this is a pub hotel hence the shared facilities however how is it justified a $99 room cost me $369 just because there is a concert nearby...? Staff were very friendly, drinks were good but the accommodation vs $$ was unbelievable, pub closed at midnight however what sounded like a rearrangement of furniture downstairs continued for an hour or two afterwards making it impossible to fall asleep.

This was truly the best little hotel I could have chosen to stay. Nice room and facilities were clean and almost looked like they had been newly renovated. I went downstairs to the bistro and had an amazing schnitzel 10/10. Will be returning!!!!

I've tried crispy salmon tonight. It was recommended by another reviewer. It's yummy. The skin was crispy and the potatoes tasted good.

I am one of the loyal customers. Delicious food with reasonable price, especially 2 for 1 deal. Chicken Parmigiana and Prawn spaghetti are my favourites. Occasionally the food standard varies depends on the chef. Otherwise, it is a good place for dinner and drinks with friends.

The 2 for 1 from Tuesdays to Thursdays is amazing value for money. And the taste is fantastic. And I get to watch the cricket. And it's not too noisy. And the service is great. And.... You should come haha.

I wish I could go to zero star, we used to go there once a week, really good food and good price and friendly staff, we went today, new owner and team took over, I can't describe how rude and disrespectful they were, they simply turned the place to the garbage, bar attendant was so rude and kitchen staff even worse. I hate writing a review but this was an unbelievable experience, never ever we go there again. I said with this service they lose customers the bar attendant told me they make enough money they don't care to lose customers. Wow

Visiting from America and wanted the full experience from a great restaurant. We got both an dry aged steak and a regular. We ate like royalty and was treated just as good.

Such a lovely pub! Really warm and cozy atmosphere, the bartender knew how to pour a Guinness properly and brought it over to our table. You also can't beat their 2 for 1 meal deals Tues-Thurs!!!
So glad it's my local, plan to go there way more often.

I'll tell you now, I've been coming here most weeks for a couple years now. The food is why I come.
On special days (especially the 2 for 1 mains) it's ridiculous value. They recently started doing $25 Ribs, Wings and Wedges on Friday night. Always full and satisfied after eating here.
The most surprising thing about this place for me though, has always been the consistency of the quality of the food the chefs put out.

A group of about ten of us used to really enjoy coming here of a Wednesday for trivia and a few beers, along with the best priced and most consistent rump steak around. We were stoked when the previous management renovated the sports bar and added a dart board.A
Then new owners took over...
They started charging a fee to use your credit/debit card no matter the purchase amount.
Then they canceled trivia.
We bought our own dart board and have no reason to go back.

The food has always been good here but since the kitchen has been redone the food has been taken up a notch - the best snitty I've ever had! We've been a few times now and the food has been consistently good and great value. So lucky to have this place as our local! :)

The older gentleman whom is clearly the manager is outstanding. ? His Always checking in on customers meals, how's their night, walking all the pub to check on customers and then often as your leaving he opens the door and thanks you for coming . Used to be a local and hadn't been for a while , heard it had new owners so was very glad to see his happy smiling face tonight when we stopped by there . ?

Amazing! Honestly, would stay here again. You walk in the door and you're automatically greeted with a smile. The workers are kind, helpful and courteous. The food was great! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy, spacious, and plenty of features! Overall, definitely a 5 star rating on every level.

It was good can't complain $63. Comfy bed. Cleanliness was good. Shared bathroom/toilet. No towel in my room, but there was a linen bag with clean towels and sheets in outside in foyer so I grabbed myself a towel ?

Great Irish pub, live music performed by patrons. They are actually very good, makes you want to dance a jig! 2 for 1 menu is also a bonus, limited options but serving size is good. Only 2 desserts and they are a bit pricey at $15 each. Hubby says Guiness is good there. Recommend.

Good pub food, especially with the buy one get one free meal. Reasonably priced drink with clean venue and good facilities. Worth the visit. Ill be back.

Definitely the besy pub food in the entire ryde area for similar pricing. The sirloin steak is top notch, been having it more than 20 times in the past 3 months since i discovered the place. Credit to the chefs Shree (sp?) and Ricky, legit only $14 for sirloin yet feel like a $30-40 steak. Bartenders are all cool too, amazing place overall!

What a great pub!! The staff are always friendly and hospitable and hotel manager is often seen on the floor ensuring that the patrons are well looked after. There are some scrumptious bites on the menu to fill your belly and the atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. A fantastic little local to check out if you are in the area of Ryde.
