Love the restaurant at the Royal. Best meals in town great price and the staff are friendly and very welcoming. They also do excellent cocktails that my wife loves to sample. Can't recommend the restaurant high enough.

Best pub in inverell! Good service, food and drinks. Better than that rat sack called the Aussie

We had 6 rooms booked but when we got there they told us there was only 4. The lady would not ring the manager or provide any real assistance .... until we pointed out that two of bookings had been erased (yes they write your booking in pencil). Finally they "found" the Teo e tra rooms we booked.

Amazing food and great service will be back again

Arrived in Inverell after dark and stopped at the Royal for a refreshment whilst considering our options for the night. Very convenient quiet location, the friendly helpful staff, ambiance and menu resulted in us deciding to stay to enjoy a delicious meal & room for the night.

Recently refurbished, the decor is modern, interesting with a variety of different areas to relax inside and outside.

The menu is Australian Pub food, with a good variety. We had steak, the scotch fillet & the Tomahawk steak. The chef takes pride in his meat selection & cooked to perfection.

Accomodation rooms are traditional motel style yet freshly painted, clean with comfortable beds. Our room had a queen size and single bed, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and ensuite bathroom (older style but very clean, hot shower). Smart TV. New reverse cycle air conditioner was quiet & meant we were cosy and warm. Iron & new ironing board in the room should you arrive creased & inclined to straightening yourself out.

Did not use the rooms, but food very nice , except our meals came out 1 at a time with 10 min intervals so the first person had finished before the last person's meal arrived.

Everyone makes mistakes, however, in my first phone attempt to book here was greeted by a young man who simply said here didn't know if there was available accommodation. On my second attempt, I was booked in with my mates. 3 days before our booking one of us was told, via voice mail, that he was double booked and so his booking was cancelled with no attempt to find him alternative accommodation. Very poor business practice. We will not go there, ever!!!

Great spot to stay rooms were clean and tidy. Will be back again when travelling that way. Great staff as well thanks Royal for the night

Only went to the motel area, comfy rooms, lovely staff. Easy parking.

The room was so unhygienic, very dirty and the sheets had stains on them and we both got bitten by crawly things in the bed and the bed was so uncomfortable a blow up mattress would have been better... the mirrors were dirty and dust everwhere. For $110 a night it was definitely not worth it. We nearly left and drove home as we both couldnt sleep with hearing doors slamming and noise constantly through the night as well as crawlers in the bed... was not happy and would not recommend to anyone

Great pub, I like the out door areas

Friendly quite clean atmosphere perfect for a single person seeking employment or working good prices helpful friendly staff close to city & all that the city has to offer.. highly recommend to anyone including families.

The Indian restaurant serves delicious food, full of flavour and spices. Very reasonable prices too!

Very good food and very good service.
