Had a lovely meal here while on holidays. Staff are so very friendly and helpful. Was a cool windy night and we were on the deck with our dog, so they came and put on the gas heater for us. The dinner was so large, I ordered 2 lamb chops. Glad I didn't get the 3. Had to take one back with us. 5+ stars

Excellent food, great service, fantastic location. My friend had the chicken parmigiana, and I had the butter chicken. Both were incredible. There is no pressure to leave after the lunch period is over.
Family friendly. Each time I've been there at lunch, there is a bouncy castle for the kids.
As a side note, if you want to go for a motorbike ride on a gorgeous day, this is a nice location to ride to.

Awesome county pub, top shelf food at a price, you definitely get what you pay for. Good beer selection.

Went for a lazy Saturday lunch and were more than happy with the food and service.
Friendly staff and food that was above the average pub feed.
Our table had a wide range from steak to grilled fish, chicken burgers and a beef brisket. All were very nice and well presented.

Sitting outside under the trees and watching the world go buy, this was a great spot to be.

Stopped in for lunch on the Easter Long Weekend. It's a nice restaurant, with pleasant staff. The food was a bit underwhelming considering the price. The brisket was lovely and tender, but was absolutely drowning in the sauce. The kids meal had not even a handful of fries. And the piece of corn served up looked like the offcut/scrap left after someone else's meal was prepared.

Not sure I'd go again considering the disconnect between price and value - it cost us ~$120 for 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals.

Spend the weekend camping at this hotel and was awesome! Staff were amazing and friendly, food was incredible and big serves, and the atmosphere brilliant. Would highly recommend this place for a night out and to camp out the back. Has toilets and showers and they were clean as well.

The pub music until around 12:30 so happy it was turned off , was surprised it stayed on so long in the outdoor area.
Steak was over cooked.
Ribs however were great.
Nice cold beer and friendly service.
Would still return as the food was tasty .

The food is absolutely amazing. The lamb cutlets were probably the best that I ever had and the pork shoulder, excellent. Congratulations to the chef.

Just had a meal at The Royal Hotel in Denman. After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes for our meals, entree came out same time as mains. Luckily we weren't in a hurry and happily waited. I feel we should have been told about the wait time when we ordered. If we had known we probably would have gone elsewhere. We sat near the counter and observed many customers coming back to the counter and asking about wait times. Some very annoyed and quite abusive to the young Irish girl behind the counter. It was clearly not her fault and she did tell us that there was a new chef on tonight. The girls serving were run off their feet. Clearly management need to address this. I felt sorry for the two girls serving who copped all the flak from unhappy customers.The meal when we finally received it was very nice. Not sure it was worth the wait though.

From the beautifully cared for and decorated venue inside and out, to the great amenities and carefully tended area for us travellers to the outstanding quality and variety of food available for takeaway and dine-in I can only say WOW!!!
The staff were so very friendly. The service on food was fast and the entree and meal we each had (2 of us) was second to none anywhere we have eaten in our home town and our travels.
To travellers, stay the night and eat in the Hotel.

Top hotel. Staff were under the pump last night but remained calm and collected. Food was sensational (lamb cutlets). Great free camping next door.

Best meal for a long time! Superb flavours, beautifully cooked and be aware massive serves. Chicken parmigiana moist and full of flavour. Crisp coating and the topping perfect! ? Great chips and salad. The prawn fettuccine was just as good as was the Thai beef salad. Cannot be faulted. Absolutely delicious. Excellent, welcoming attentive staff. Thank you for having us. We are very grateful. ? Can't wait for the next opportunity to visit when we're passing through. This is a go to destination.

Great little pub with friendly staff and a decent selection of food and drinks (no vegan menu). Went there as a camper and was not disappointed by the hospitality. Plenty of camp spots round the back with toilets and hot showers accessible outside of pub hours in their own little building. Will definitely swing by for a drink again on my way back through

It's honestly nice to be able to ask for a MR steak and have it come out perfect.
Simple stuff done splendidly wins every time.
Chips and salad are as good as they need to be and the sirloin was perfect.
Would happily come back.

My partner and I were in a bus load of people to visit the Woodlands Stud. We had lunch at The Royal Hotel Denman and it was great. The food was absolutely fab and the service for such a crowd in such a short time was
outstanding. We have been there on three occasions now on our way to and from Mudgee and we'll be back again in July.

Awesome venue in a stunning little town! Passed through here one the way to, and from Bylong. Had to drop in for lunch and as soon as I saw the brisket burger, I was sold!!!

Best burger I've had in a long, long time. The brisket was perfect and so tender & soft!!

The venue is clean and looms like it's just had a refurbishment. The deck and lawn area outside is huge and just perfect for the kids!

This is a "must visit" if you're close by, do yourself a massive favour and check it out!! I'm coming back for sure!

WOW! I've driven past here many times over the last few years and thought it looked so nice for such a small town!! They did not disappoint! The pub itself is gorgeously done up, loads of seating and a great restaurant/bar area. The young gentlemen and lady the served us for dinner were so friendly! We got 2 burgers takeaway, both my partner and I think they were amazing. My halloumi vegetarian burger is probably the BEST vegetarian burger I have had. They were also done very fast, and the locals in the pub were super friendly!!! This is the our new stop spot for journeys from now on, and I will also be recommending to all friends and family that travel this way :)

In RV - camped outback - had drinks on arrival & dinner later - a little gem. Had a walk around the very tidy town. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Arrived for overnight stopover with caravan, stayed at back of pub. Amenities supplied. Great pub, friendly people. Thanks for looking after us Buzz!! Good stay for overnight rest.

Excellent food, friendly staff. Clean and pleasant dining for a traveler passing through. Would definitely make a bee line for this pub for a pleasant meal/experience again. Have been here twice now. Definitely looking forward to a third

A large group of us dined in and had a lovely dinner. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good, especially the lamb shanks and by all reports the pork knuckle.Large serves and reasonable prices.Not many non meat dishes on the menu.
