The manager treated me absolutely disgusting. I was here to celebrate my sisters birthday and she told me to leave even though I was holding a drink for my mum. The employees were speaking to me very aggressively and the atmosphere felt horrible. The service was very bad, we had to wait a long time for food to come out. The food was soggy and the sushi and meat were very dry. GO SOME WHERE ELSE.

Elegant place, good food we ordered stake and the roast of the day! I was shocked by the size of the mashed potato is so huge! Hahaha

The steak is tasty and tender (medium rare and well done)

Great food, large establishment with lots of rooms including dining and sports bar. Food is decent sizes, beer is reasonably priced. Not the most modern interior and the lights are aggressively bright. But service was great and quick on a busy night

Very spacious venue. Appreciated it being open on New Year's Day when many places in the area were closed. The wait staff were very friendly & helpful. They even voluntarily moved us to another table to be away from a group near to us. Meals all decent size & quality. The also have a Seniors' discounted menu.

A lovely neighbourhood pub! The food was delicious and the vibes are very much family Sunday pub lunch. The waitress Bridie that was serving our table was super lovely and helpful. Also, the sticky date pudding was the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life.

One of the best restaurants in Carnegie, I am traveling all over the world. If you travel in Melbourne and living in around Carnegie then this is the best restaurant to get delicious food. Price is reasonable. And food is so delicious. You can get most delicious Indian food here. Special thank to chef Raju Bandhari. Food is really really so tasty. Prime location . 1 min walk from Carnegie Metro Station. I can recommend to my all Asian traveler to try this restaurant. Also you can get halal food here.

Very good food. 2nd time going there and would go again. The lamb shank was okay but the spring rolls are delicious. The burger is also tasty. They have a variety of cuisines available but the range of products within each cuisine is limited. The food is plentiful not a place for picky eaters 😁. Service is quick and all the staff are courteous. Atmosphere is good and you can dine in as 1, 2 or in more numbers.

Roast Lamb dinner was awesome.
Have been here several times. Barramundi fillet with Salsa and mash was great. Highly recommend this place. Kitchen is open all day

Waited 50 minutes for our food, the kitchen prioritised all the parmas steaks and burgers. Otherwise, food was good and service was amazing. Maybe next time don't come on a Friday or weekend night

Revisited the Rosstown tonight now we're locals (last visit 9 months ago). The staff were brilliant and kudos to the new waitress doing her best, the wait staff and the bar staff who made excellent drinks.
We had a couple of issues with drink orders using the table ordering (one cocktail couldn't be made due to ingredients missing and the other was meant to be a passionfruit margarita but a regular was delivered) but we didn't mind.
The meals were fantastic.
And finally, the staff in the Pokies were great fun. We didn't win a fortune, but we had such a great, relaxed night.

A good pub. I came here for dinner with some family and friends about a week ago. The food was generally pretty nice, the fish & chips and quesadillas in particular were great though the roast was not as good, though still okay. Although the portions are generous (the quesadillas are enough for two if you aren't too huge), the food is quite pricey compared to some other pubs I've been to. The staff were friendly and polite. Overall, good but expensive.

I had a rump steak which was cooked to perfection. The salad was heavily dressed with an over powering mayonnaise which I couldn't eat.
We ere in a group of 20 and all meals came within seconds of each other.
A great night out.

Really good meal for a pub meal! Portion sizes are large and you definitely get more for what you pay. They have a great selection of cocktails and drinks to choose from. The service and atmosphere was pub standard, help yourself to seats and pay at the bar. However I would definitely recommend this place, as the food is delicious! Staff are friendly and welcoming in both the pokie area and meal area.

You know your on a winner when everything from the spring rolls to the gravy and even the deserts are made in house. No frozen schnitzel fillets here and you can taste the difference. Huge serves, Great atmosphere, a nice place to share a meal in a modern setting without being pretentious. Service from wait staff to management was on point. Everyone smiling. Will return! Well done.

Food is cooked very nice and big serving, spacious seating area. Good for company gatherings.

Great place to watch sports and have a feed.

Got the garlic bread and chips. These are the best value for money at $10 each. Also great for sharing as they're snack food.

I've also had the burger and parma. I recommend the parma over the burger. The mains feel a tad overpriced at ~$30.

Non alcoholic drinks are priced around $6.

Our family have been coming for years. Meals are always delicious, service is fantastic and we will always go back.

Great place to catch up with the family for dinner. Food and drinks are all good but a couple of things to note:
1. It would be easier if all drinks could be ordered through the app (like meals are).
2. The portions are huge and when you can't eat much or take a doggie bag home, you feel like you're wasting money and food.
Overall, very nice and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Went on the 24th March 2022. Parma was tasty and cooked well. Chips included tomato sauce which is always great. Great atmosphere with pokies :)

Very nice way to spend an afternoon. Food was good in the sports bar in front of a fire watching footy.

Food was okay apart from some inconsistencies but service just ruined our dinner.
We had a reservation at 5:30pm and got there earlier besides a few in our group but we were all seated before 5:40pm, by 5:45pm a staff member came up to us and told us that we needed to get our order in asap due to another seating 2 hours later.
We felt pushed and pressured to hurry up, eat and just get out.
My review is not reflecting on every team member, just one but the attitude she gave was condescending and passive aggressive.
We did not feel welcome and it was hard to enjoy our dinner.

The food is just okay but the portions are ridiculously huge. The staff should let people know that the mains portions could easily feed two. There is absolutely no reason to have meals that big. There would be so much wasted food. I can't imagine what they are thinking!!!!!

Rosstown is a good and reliable place. Good pub food, generous portions. I never manage to get a dessert because the main is very filling. I didn't use any parts of the pub other than the restaurant.

I love the atmosphere. Friendly and professional. Staff are pleasant , helpful and a high standard of customer service prevails. Fair price....accept desserts are way to expensive. The mains are always good.

My partner and I enjoy going here for a meal every couple of weeks. Friendly staff and delicious hearty meals

A nice bar with friendly staff. The food is good, but the selection of beers are limited. Two (non craft) pints cost $27.10 which is a tad expensive.

From the mandatory check in to ordering our meals was easy. The vibe of the Rosstown was vibrant. The place was busy, the menu had a really great variety to choose from. The meals were outstanding. Big servings definitely good value for money. Bookings are preferred. I have put it on my must go back list. You won't be disappointed. A must go to!!
