Felt a bit rushed, but it was our fault as we have the booking for 8:15pm.
Complete understandable.

Food was very good, my partner has ordered the bug/chorizo risotto and I have ordered the seafood linguine.

We are definitely coming back with a bit more time next time!

I have wanted to visit this place for a long time and the truth is that I left very disappointing.
When we arrived, no one greeted us (a girl passed by our side) and when I spoke to one girl, she gave us a very brief answer, limiting herself to saying that we had to order at the till when we were ready. Then we asked for a coffee and it was extremely difficult for the person at the till to understand the order (half strength oat latte), and the guy asked how to do that ðŸ¤". What I find strange is that for a hotel I imagine they make several coffees a day. Besides that, the glasses and plates were very, very dirty.
To conclude, would not go there again and I give it 3 stars only because the place is nice and there was live music.

Just stopped for a beer. They had a great selection with seating inside and outside. Also had a street cafe adjacent to the pub. There is a 2nd floor with river views but it is usually booked over the weekend for private functions

The food here deserves its due respect because it is really delicious and tasty, the size is also in condition with its value.

Took my mum and family out to the Boatshed Mother's Day breakfast over the weekend. The booking was smooth and easy from the get go. The confirmation was prompt. The atmosphere was beautiful. Selection of dishes available were of a good variety- loved to see the vegan and gf options. There was definitely something for everyone to choose. When the food arrived, the portions were generous, fresh flavours and great taste. Everyone loved their dishes and it was accompanied by warm coffees. Staff were friendly and so incredibly generous. A good location near to the river with parking places and the bus stops. The steak is not as good as the words. We ordered tomahawk and sirloin. The drinks are very nice since there is very big bar. Very noisy. It is a good place for those loud getting together but not suitable for those who like quietness during dinning.

Last night marked our inaugural visit to the Boatshed Restaurant, and we left thoroughly impressed. The ambiance, the delightful surprise of complimentary champagne for our anniversary, and the outstanding cuisine all left a lasting impression. My Filet Mignon steak was cooked to absolute perfection. It truly ranks among the finest restaurant experiences we've ever had. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was impeccable

A decent place for lunch. We ordered the sirloin(med rare) with extra grilled chicken (a little dry) and grilled prawns and the rump (med). The prawns were the only thing that was tasty though.
Kari (I believe is her name) was a fantastic host for us.

We were very happy to come back to this great restaurant after four years. Its oysters and dry aged steaks were as good as before. We also picked a nice red wine recommended by the waiter. We will come again next time we visit Brisbane.

Review: I haven't been to the Regatta in ages, especially for food. We got there at peak hour lunch time on a Sunday so a lot of the tables were taken. We decided to sit outside near the coffee cart which was nice and chill. We ordered via the QR code, both of us deciding on a burger and beer (good combo, right!). I went with the beef as I normally prefer this to chicken when it comes to burgers. This burg had everything I look for in a hearty pub feed. Soft and fresh bun, thick and juicy patty, bacon, sauce and fried pickles. I thought the fried pickles and bacon both added a great flavour and really did luxe up the dish. There was a good amount of sauce which was quite flavourful. Fries on the side were crispy with a good amount of salt and paired perfectly with the aioli. Chicken got a good review too with a thick piece of battered chicken, melted cheese, bacon and fresh veggies. Would defs recommend coming here for a chill lunch with a good verity of options and fast service.

Great steak, great service. We both had the dry aged porterhouse and it was perfect. It was my husbands birthday and they got him a card and complimentary dessert! So nice. Thanks Hamish for the 5 star service.

I've been to the regatta a few times because I live down the road (so convenient!) The food is consistently yummy, not always perfect, but consistently yummy nonetheless. The best food items I reckon are the mac and cheese bites and halloumi bites.. so GOOD! Same with the mushroom pizza. Finally, the lamb salad is super good! Would recommend out of the Salads. The beef cheek also falls apart as you eat it! Yum!

I find that the sweet potato chips can be soggy when you get them. Might ask for the salsa on the side when you get them!
The food always comes pretty quick as well! No matter how busy they are. Yall do great!

I love the variety of drinks here and also the walrus bar is an absolute gem. The girl who was working the walrus bar is a fantastic gal, an absolute gem also. Can't wait to come back!

Overall, great place! The only downside I find is that the prices may be a little high and some food items aren't as good as others (not a big deal though) but that's it! Great venue and I definitely will be coming here as my choice in toowong.

We were a party of 5 and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The service was top notch. Definitely will be back. MIL said best fish she has ever had. The linguine was divine and the steaks cooked as requested.

We dined at 11:30 on a Tuesday morning, just as the lunch menu became available.

There were few people there and we had our pick of where to sit. We elected to sit street side. It was very pleasant - shaded and cool. There were many other seating options that would meet any mood.

Ordering was handled by an app, scanned from the table. There was an extensive menu available, from starters and share plates to steaks, burgers and the like.

My beautiful wife had the chicken schnitzel and I had the steak sandwich. They arrived surprisingly quickly and were fresh. The portion sizes were good and they represented excellent value. Do yourself a huge favour - order the macaroni, cheese and bacon bites!

The beverage list was also impressive and they were again good value.

The staff were amazing - super professional, with just the right amount of personality shining through.

Renovations look great, well maintained building with plenty of places to eat, drink, and enjoy.
Food was delicious with plenty of options for vegans which was a definite highlight.
Highly recommended.

With a U K friend in tow, we went for a drink in the late arvo at the Main Bar, and stayed for a meal. I had beer-battered barramundi and chips with salad, the friend had a steak sandwich, and hubby had a beef burger. He said the meat patty was cooked well, and the additions were really enjoyable - the right amount of gherkins, etc. The chips were chips - fine, tasty, the usual. My fish was wonderful - juicy and tender, with crispy not-too-thick batter. The salad was fresh, with a tangy dressing. The burger and sandwich (with chips) went down well. Servings are very generous, and we managed to scoff them down 'cos we were hungry little diners. We drank Prosecco, and a G&T, and a soft drink. Staff were pleasant (our UK friend said she missed the friendly Aussie waitering-style now she lives overseas.), and food came out promptly. Even for a Monday night, this place was fairly busy. We all enjoyed the meals and drinks, and the respite from the day's endeavours. There are several bars, and a café and a restaurant here. Much more for us to explore on another night.

Nice place and all, but they pay one person specifically to check your vaccination certificate even for take away. I explained that I couldn't use the app since I only have a paper copy and didn't have it with me. Still denied entry for take away?! No thanks. I'll patronise businesses that don't discriminate. But don't worry, they're keeping you safe...

On Sunday the 3rd of April, 2022, I attended the Boat Shed Restaurant for my brother's Birthday with a group of his friends. The entire experience was fantastic. Our waiter, Isaac, was exceptional and had a courteous and helpful manner, especially when accommodating my specific dietary requirements. My lamb was done to perfection and my gluten free sticky date pudding was delicious.

We took our entire family out for dinner at the Boatshed and everyone loved it! Our manager Ben ensured that we were very comfortable and our main waitress Queenie provided us with exceptional service. We were told that they had staff shortages on the night and yet we were served in a very timely manner for drinks and food, we would have never known if we hadn't of been told!
All around another beautiful experience celebrating birthdays within our family, we will always come back. Definitely our favourite dining experience in Brisbane!

Great place to celebrate a graduation. I have not had steak cooked so well and taste so scrumptious in a long time. You pay for it....but it is worth it. Service was just right.
Hope to to again. Certainly keep this as our place for celebrations

🍕prosciutto rosso $21: this. was. incredible. it doesn't state that it's wood fired, but it really tastes like it!! dough was fluffy and cooked to perfection oh my, it was my first time having caramelized onions on a pizza and oh my- what a beautiful addition! balances out the prosciutto perfectly🤤i would come back just for this pizza!

🍛 coconut chicken curry $21: this was a chef special~ it was pretty nice~ the chicken was a little dry and i don't really like coconut curries so it wasn't really my taste but really good quality!🥰

???-caesar salad $17: ordered a salad to repair balance out the heaviness of everything else~ refreshing and nice! bacon was quite hard as well as the huge cuts of bread but overall an okay salad~

??'?lilac sky $12: this mocktail was delishhh!! with butterfly pea inside, it was a beautiful colour! with hints of citrus and floral flavours, it was refreshing and yum!🥰 ugh if only i had the right coloured nails🥲🤣

overall, a lovely lovelyyyy dinner at @regattahotel a staple and icon in Brisbane, if you haven't checked it out, it's definitely worth it!🤩🥰

The lounging bar is amazing, such a chilled out way to CHILL OUT. Burgers top notch. Sundays live band does requests and a lot of fun is had! Try it out. Actually don't. Wanna keep this as my own clubhouse ;)

Venue is great, the pub food I didn't love.
Will be back for sure but would be great if the pub grub was on par with other places.
I hear the restraint is very good though so will try that next time.

I had dinner with my family and I really enjoyed the food we had Thai beef salad and lamp salad is the most amazing food. My husband had steak and he loved the taste and was cooked and served so well. I would recommend my friends and family to try the food in Regatta Hotel.
The atmosphere and staffs were so friendly and welcoming. I will see you again very soon

Beautiful old but well looked after and maintained heritage building with front seat views of the Brisbane River. On this occasion we only had drinks. Service was fast and friendly. Inside was packed with people of all ages and was difficult to hear anything and as we were there for a business meeting we moved out to the verandah. It was a fabulous venue to go to with friends 10+ years ago and clearly still is.

Great location. Food was excellent but very slow coming out. Boat shed prices excessively high compared to other areas of the hotel and compared to similar places. Staff pleasant.

We had our engagement party in the Winterford Room on May 1. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything went to plan, that guests were happy and that the night went off without a hitch. The staff were friendly and attentive and the area was very clean and tidy. They also ensured the room could be accessed easily by our disabled guests and made sure there was space for them to sit and feel comfortable. Our guests had nothing but nice things to say and we would consider the Regatta again for special occasions in the future.

Still a great place for a drink in a lovely historic building. Thought the lunch menu could be a little more extensive and adventurous. Service was good. Reasonable range of beers on tap.

Love this pub. The historic basement is now open as a bar. Great food. Check out the flood level markers on the corner post outside indicating Brisbane's major floods since the 1800s.

Thank you so much we did have a problem with delays with our pizza orders which was attended to immediately after notifying the Manager. I could not have wished for better service, delicious pizzas & abundant choice of drinks including great range of wine because of the extra time discovered the amazing basement "The Walrus Club" with abundant nooks & crannies - a real treat. Definitely a place to revisit especially Jazz on Thursday eve

Went there on Tuesday evening 15/12/2020, with 10 family, friends, and (one assistance dog). This was our first time at restaurant. Food and service were fantastic, could not fault anything. The bill at the end of the night was also pretty good for a group of 10, which included all drinks, we will definitely be back

Great food, delicious drinks, buzzing atmosphere and music. My girlfriend and I came on a Friday afternoon and within half an hour the place is packed. Their refreshing Sangria Jugs was worth the money and the staff at the bar are really friendly. We will be returning again x

This place has always been pretty good. Staff are quality. Actually friendly and knowledgeable. Great viewing pleasures inside as well as outside with walkers and runners ect. Anyway well worth it. Enjoy.

We went to the Boatshed for our anniversary. We had starter of fried calamari, which was beautifully soft inside with a nice light crumb. Eye fillet and aged porterhouse were delicious, as were the apple and rhubarb and the lime cheesecake we had for dessert. If I was being picky I might say that the cheesecake could have had a little more lime, but I would stillorder it again. Good service and good price for the quality of food. Looking forward to coming back!
