Firstly.. lovely course I've played many times. But they currently employ a 21yo boy in the pro shop with savage anger management issues, who at 5:30pm leaves the proshop and goes out in a golf cart hunting to find and hassle any people still out on the course in a cart to get them brought back in immediately. He drove over to us, then extreme-hassled us in our cart, even though we were on the last hole and would be finished in 5 minutes. When I said we'd be done and have them back in the next five minutes, HE CHASED AND ABUSED US! .. all the way up the fairway to the green, racing at full speed beside us and ranting and abusing us all the way - what IS that behaviour??, because he wasn't getting paid after 5:30pm and didn't care less that we were on our last hole. He couldn't go home until the carts were locked away, and was disgraceful to us about it. That's entirely not our problem, particularly as we'd paid $120 for their 'Twilight Rate' which is a slightly reduced rate after 2pm, as daylight might run out before you finish, so basically get as much golf in as you can, and that INCLUDED the rented/paid-for cart. How are we supposed to finish the round without the cart suddenly? Even so, why grab a cart and head out from the clubhouse to chase and fully abuse customers? The torrent of abuse this vile boy gave me and my 15yo son (and our other two guests) was nothing short of vitriolic. He even kept yelling at us when we were trying to play our shots. If the club won't pay the kid an extra $25 for the hour to stay back until the sun's gone down and people have finished their round, maybe don't rent carts out after midday! I've played top-level golf for 40 years at premium courses all over Australia, and not once has any club ever questioned when the cart comes back. This was an appallingly bizarre, vile and unnerving experience that the club should be ashamed of.
