I was recently travelling with a group of guys on a boy's weekend and ended up staying in Millmerran for Anzac Day. We decided to spend the day at the Sundowner Hotel. We were welcomed in by the publican and his manager Teegan, we had one of the best Anzac Day ever with friendly service, fresh beer, great food and a very friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting the Sundowner in future trips away.
PS: We did not stay in the accommodation, so I can't rate that.

With beautiful new owners, who also own the incredible Mill Inn Tavern, The Sundowner Hotel now has such an awesome atmosphere. Friendly staff, delicious food, great live music and owners who truly care about their customers. Nothing better than a good country pub and The Sundowner Hotel is the best!!

Great country pub! Great change for the community!
If you haven't tried since change of ownership, it's definitely recommended.

I love this place. The staff are friendly and the service is always great
The meals are great. My favourite is the steak with mushroom sauce

A huge Thank You to the proprietress for accommodation with no notice when I was stranded alone in Millmerran due to flooding last weekend.
I found the old-fashioned charm of the hotel absolutely delightful; the 'regulars' friendly & helpful; the rooms & bed were comfortable, clean & warm; and I felt safe.
I regret only that circumstances had closed the Bistro, so I missed the chance to enjoy some Pub Grub ?
Then, 2 days later, back from my (eventually successful) trip, I discovered the loss of a set of keys.
On contact, this lovely lady went out of her way & mailed them back to me.
