So clean and spacious. Perfect views over the bay and it was the small things that made the stay so wonderful, the breakfast bar facing the views to enjoy our morning coffee, the grass area where our children were able to kick the ball around. Walking distance to ferry terminal, cafes, local IGA, beach and walking trails.
The staff were wonderful and so helpful, will definitely recommend staying here again :)

This is an awesome place to stay in Penneshaw for a few nights, and it's right next to the ferry. We loved that the motel had a personal touch with the sea themed decor, the lovely grassed area outside, modern bathroom, comfy big beds and spotlessly clean. Thanks very much Michael.

I recently took a group of 27 primary school students to KI. Penneshaw Beach Stay provided exceptional service, accommodating us with flexibility and genuine care. Michael went above and beyond to ensure the kids felt 'at home' away from home. The rooms were spotless, with modern appliances and comfortable beds. With a beautiful view over the beach at Penneshaw, I highly recommend this hidden gem!

What a fabulous spot on KI! We booked last minute and could not have been happier with our stay. Michael was incredibly easy to deal with, very accommodating of some specific requests and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time while we were there. Super convenient for anything you need in Penneshaw and a short walk to the ferry. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with some lovely little touches. Can't recommend them highly enough! We were sorry to only be there for one night - we will definitely be back.

Not only gorgeous views from their front lawn and newly built deck (perfect for a wine and cheese platter) but only 3-4 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. The rooms were clean and the staff are so friendly. We've already booked to return

The accommodation was fantastic - plenty of space for four people in the room, and the beds were comfy. The room had all necessities for a relaxing stay. Was lovely to sit and watch the ferry come and go from the window whilst drinking a coffee.
Hosts were also lovely. Cannot recommend enough.

I stayed at the Penneshaw Beach Stay for work a week ago and have to say Michael and Yiannis were THE BEST hosts. Absolutely nothing was any trouble. They have done a fabulous job with their renovations. So great to meet such enthusiastic and passionate hosts. They're on hand and able to answer any questions you might have on where to go and what to do
My room was absolutely spotless and tidy with everything I needed for my stay.
In addition everything is within walking distance - the beach, the shops, the ferry and the pub! The views over the bay are superb and to hear the ocean from your bed at night is bliss. You really can't go past this place for a perfect budget stay.

My mum and I stayed here for one night in September as we were catching the morning ferry. It definitely did the job for what we were after. The room was clean and exactly as expected on the booking website - although it would have been nice to have a microwave in the room to heat up food from IGA. It was an affordable price, very close to the ferry (you can see it from your window), close to an IGA and restaurants, and has a gorgeous view of the ocean. There was good communication from the owners and it was a super easy check-in process.

We had an amazing experience here! The staff were extremely kind and professional. The room we stayed in was adequate size to fit two of our own portable cots, so if you are travelling with small children it's an easy option. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The location is also ideal as it's a two minute journey to and from the Ferry. Beach, Cafes, IGA, park and oval are walking distance so you can enjoy plenty of family down time near your accommodation.

It was a fantastic experience of accommodation in the Penneshaw, KI. The location is very close to the terminal and convenience to live.
We are 3 adults and 2 kids, the room is nice and tidy. We spent 3 nights there. One of the owner is on site, he is very nice, kind and helpful, he also provided an excellent service to us. He took us to met the wild wallaby and kangaroo at sunset and gave us a nice gift when we checked out.
Highly recommend this place and it is worth to stay when you travel to Kangaroo Island.
