Play Pokies at The Peninsula Hotel in Newcomb

The Thai beef salad was really lovely. Playroom needs a renovation. But the eating area has a nice 90s old vibe to it to take you back.

This used to be a really good pub, then the black rhino group purchased it ,just for the pokies I think ,and let it decline . We used to go to the public bar and have a bet at the TAB , meals in the bar or bistro. It was good. Now the public bar is never open, its run down and a depressing place to be. It\'s a damn shame.Come on Black rhino, spend some money on it !!!. It could be a great venue again. Build it and they will come.

Service was fine, venue unfortunately is very run down and outdated, black mould in playground area and roll of carpet in play area tripping hazard and duct tape every on play equipment, the food is 1/10 maybe 2 on some dishes we ordered. The Mac and cheese is not edible to chewy and cheap sliced cheese. These all contrite lack of customers. Refund should of been offered

Just ate there tonight and people in the bistro had a poddle dog (with no assistance or service vest). The dog was able to put its feet, head and mouth on the table and was in the restaurant proper. The dog shouldn\'t have been allowed in the eating area and we (more than 4 people) will not eat or go there again.

Wow this place has taken a dive. don't waste your money people. The food was awful. Ordered bruschetta and it was the safest attempt iv ever seen. Even has powdered cheese on it.ewwww
Also order pork belly. Was very obvious that this was pre cooked and reheated and was drowning in sweet chilli sauce making the rice completely inedible. The playground was disgustingly dirty and old. Rolled up old carpets on the floor. 1 of the servers English was so bad I don't think either of us knew what we were each saying to each other. Next time it's buckleys for me. Super disappointing. I'll see
