Worst food I've had out in a long time! I've worked in hospitality over 15 yrs and I eat out a lot and this is not an understatement.
Food quality was so so bad and when we asked to return it as it was literally uneatable- the staff were very annoyed. The ONLY thing that was eatable and nicely cooked was the garlic bread.
The first bar staff was nice to find us a table so quickly but all other staff were rude. 1 star is too much.

I went for dinner lastnight and the place wasn't too busy. I would have expected the food to be hotter and cooked to order. I had the chicken burger and it was warm and my partner had the peaky burger and it was dry and over cooked it seemed like it had been sitting there for a while.

Second time eating here and only went to accompany friends. I'm a local but after my last experience, I don't even consider going we had a group of about about 10 people and were taken out to the back for seating. A lady sitting on her own was moved on even though there was plenty of room. . This time my medium ordered steak was cooked well done. Come on, it wasn't even near medium and it's not hard if they took pride in satisfying customers. Cooking a meat that much makes it dry and flavourless. A child ordered the cheeseburger and it was extra pink on the inside. A cut of meat can be cooked medium as the bacteria is on the outer layer, mince and sausages must be cooked through, especially if it's served as akids meal. I was going to return the meat and burger but didn't want to be there any longer. Again.... Plates were hot and no trays, I was offed a serviette. Twice since it opened Is enough to workout that it looks fancy but food/cooks are rubbish.

Danny and Jamie were amazing in helping us set up our event. Everything was very professional including picking the menu, setting up the room and service on the night. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Had my baby shower in the Panorama Room. Cannot fault anything. The food was amazing. The staff were great. I received lots of compliments from my guests about the location, room and food. Jaime was amazing leading up to the day. I cannot thank Jaime and the team enough. Whatever we needed was accommodated for. They helped make the day memorable.

Been coming here for over a year now. Always great place to sit down and eat. The food is great and the staff is nice. Just wish the food would come a little quicker. But the playground is great fun for kids as well.

We held hubby's 40th birthday in the private room over the weekend. Kristina (events manager) was amazing and made everything run very smoothly.
Big shout out to head Chef Danny! Besides our love for the food at the Peaky, Danny was very helpful, honest and accomodating with the food selection. We have friends visiting from far just to eat the great food and enjoy the atmosphere.
All our guests were awe.

Sitting here right now with the best margarita pizza I have had in yonks, only one piece left. And there is a play area for the kids which is always a winner. The place has a great ambiance, fresh decor and lots of different areas to suit your mood and people ??'?

Been here a few times throughout various service times and upon my latest visit (lunch) it's a safe 3 stars.
Despite not being overly busy, the food was inconsistent. The pasta was so salty it was inedible, upon telling a manager on duty they didn't really care which was disappointing.
The venue is quite spacious with many seating options. However parking is a bit more limited, they have a drive through bottle shop out the front and you can drive down the ramp to park at the back. Otherwise your option is to park on the back streets.
Parmi was more on the drier side.
Beef was very sub par.
Buffalo wings is extremely hot - only order if you have very high tolerance!
Overall quite inconsistent with previous experiences.
Albeit good venue for gatherings.

Visited the vista bistro for lunch. Extensive menu including a kids menu. Servings are generous. Reasonable prices. Open modern interior with quality finishes and comfortable furniture. Spotless. Free parking at rear. Current offer 20pct off for lunch Monday to Friday. Recommend the Rueben Sandwich and the fish tacos.

Food and drinks were great. Atmosphere fantastic. Had a good night here with friend. We sat in various different areas of the venue over the night and all were really nice. Staff were friendly, as were the patrons. I'd recommend for a night out.

We had our son's 1st birthday/Christening here. Kristina (events manager) was absolutely amazing. She was very helpful from start to finish (and especially during the event). Apart from our sons event, we come here at least once a month for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is always lovely here. Great food! Kids have a play area. Good cocktails. Never disappoints. Will always be back!

Neighbourhood gem. Beautifully renovated venue that's fantastic for families & big groups. Generous servings and wide range of options on the menu with something for everyone. Food itself is also great. Parking onsite, have never had issues finding a spot for weekend lunch.

The Peaky used to be the Peakhurst Inn and it was not a great venue. The Peaky is so much better and it had a fantastic makeover to make it a great place for a drink or a meal. The menu has got something for everybody and the food is delicious. About the only thing l could find fault with is it is a victim of its own success. Meaning on Friday and Saturday it is very busy and you might wait at times 45-60 minutes for your meal. Well worth the wait. The bars are busy but the get through the orders pretty quick. It is a family friendly pub and one worth looking at. Recommended.

Took the kids out for lunch and had an amazing experience ! The kids playground worked wonders to keep the kids happy, great food, great service, nice modern interior and very spacious. Definitely recommend going during the weekdays for lunch as there weren't too many people and food came out very quickly. Will be going here a lot more often!

Avoid at all cost. If you ask for medium well and you get a steak dry and very well done the chef will argue with you in front of everyone that its done properly and that i am wrong.pitty i could put up a picture.the chef is very rude and arrogant ...

half way through dinner the floor manager came and was amazing. She listened and supported and to compensate gave us a free bottle of wine (steak half eaten). The staff truly are amazing... pitty about the chef!!!!

Went here for a birthday party on Saturday night. It was super busy, but we were able to find parking on site. Nice interior, looks new and modern,

The food was okay, a bit better than your average pub food. Long line up to get the food. You have to wait in queue to order, and then they give you a buzzer to get your food. The food took at least 45 minutes to get to us. We thought it was pretty expensive for pub food.

Good place to meet up with friends for some casual drinks, but we probably won't be eating here again.

There's a small playground inside for kids, but it was crazy. Jammed packed and no supervision. There was an older kid kicking a soccer ball as hard as he could, just missing the heads of babies and toddlers!

Don't let the fact they are on the main road deter you, they have heaps of parking out back, food was great, they have a good selection of beers on tap too.

There is a great play area for kids as well, gets crowded at times though, I had a steak, it was cooked perfectly, I'll be returning soon to sample the Tomahawk

Well exceeded our expectations. Great pub with good screens and sound and the kitchen pumping out good food. They had a couple of good beers on tap too being the panhead pale ale and a nice IPA. Only thing I'd say re the accommodation is to please think about getting double glazed windows as there is a lot of noise coming in from outside. That would fix it up cause the beds were comfy and the rooms good.

I really like the place and the food especially they have kids playground, but the music and the trivia night was just way too loud and cannot even talk. Also they claimed their downstairs and the back are outdoor area with only little open ceilings and allow people to smoke there. Cannot bare the smoke while eating. They are the really downside for me.

Top venue, have spent quite a lot of time there since the renovations on sporting occasions.

Had a meeting there during work hours today and loved the food. Will be bringing the whole family back.

Thoroughly enjoy attending The Peakhurst. Most recently went for the pop up Greek night and it was amazing. The cocktails and gyros were super delicious. Staff are always friendly, live music on Saturdays and food in the general eatery is always great.
Definitely a fun venue to visit on a Saturday afternoon.

The renovation is nice, others dining with us liked the burger, and there is parking which is good. My drawback was the special - tacos- came with tortillas that were not warmed, straight out of the packet. That is not the norm for mexican fusion. They also sat us at a bar style high table which was not suitable for the babies. Overall good place, I would go again but try a different main.

What a beautiful place to visit! Plenty of parking, nice open spaces and the food is amazing.

We had a big group and it was Easter so a very busy time however, the staff were always around clearing plates and making sure we didn't need anything.

The food was out quick and the serving sizes were huge. Not to mention delicious.

Will definitely be back again!

Finally a great local venue!!!!!...beautifully renovated. Great food and cocktails. Will definatley be a regular ....just hope the standard stays up there! but for now....LOVE IT :)

EDIT: unfortunately I have had to edit this review as the quality has gone downhill...last 2 times , food has been really bad. ordered steak and coleslaw . Steak amazing, Coleslaw rancid. A week later , pizza and pepperoni was off. Mentioned to the waitress so hopefully not going to be the usual from now on.

Wow. It is amazing what they have done with this place. Well done guys. It is like a high end eastern suburbs pub in the south west that has it all.
The food is good, extensive menu at a reasonable price. Plenty of seating however need to book on weekends.
The sports bar is good however the smoke comes into the bar from the smokers area which needs attention, especially when people are still eating in the area.
Big surprise is it now has a kids play area with lots to keep the little ones amused.
The one thing that the Peaky still has is lots of parking out back with access now very easy at car park level, so no issue for anyone.
Once again to the Peaky team, well done.

Great venue and facilities, however they need to have more staff on.Only two people serving behind the bar with ques going all the way to the back door. And the sports bar being closed when it was full of patrons.Maybe a seperate area of the bar where cocktails can be ordered.

First time back here in years and really impressed. Fully refurbished and set out quite well with plenty of rear parking and entry as well as good food, entertainment and drinks.

The venue was great and the food was fantastic, when it eventually arrived. We had the misfortune of going on a particularly busy night (Monday ) & our food took forever to arrive. They were very apologetic and explained that they had under estimated the crowd, so will give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe a five star next time.

If the old peaky was the opposite of your ideal then you'll love the revamp!

Visited The Peakhurst for my birthday on Saturday night. I was very impressed with the new decor and the layout on display. The Peakhurst ranges from having a great meal to watching live sport out on the big screen or even just to catch up. Don't forget the sports room and even an entertainment area for the little ones. Customer service was excellent all night, from the bar staff, the delicious food made in a timely manner from the chefs, management who looked after our table and to even the security at the front door. Couldn't fault this venue. Excellent for a local with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back very soon! Cheers guys!
