We called into Parap Tavern twice during our Darwin trip. Very welcoming staff and customers. Many keen for a chat. Tried the Laksa Festival Laksa and Momo's. The food was excellent and the beers crispy cold.

We stopped by for the unique Laksa Festival specials and these were delicious! There seem to be a lots of other good options too. Friendly staff; Samita was especially great. Good music and welcoming family friendly bistro. Will visit again.

An old-school vintage pub that has been in Darwin for ages but the food is so good. Steak is so delicious and steak night is always busy, so make sure you book ahead. Tacos and curries are nice too. The staff are polite and friendly. Special thanks to Tifany for the amazing hospitality and make my friends and I feel so welcomed. ⭐️

It's glad to see Samita back she is wonderfully friendly always happy and smiling. The service she provides is 10/10 very helpful and polite. Haven't had a problem with other staff they are also friendly and service is good.

Heard about Parap Tavern on the radio - we are from palmerston so have never tried anywhere to eat in Parap. We wanted to try as we have 4 kids and were enticed by the playground and the award winning steak. Wow! 5 stars for everything, food, service, atmosphere!!! The staff went above and beyond to cater for our kids and ourselves to make sure we had an enjoyable dinner. Food was perfection and steak oh my goodness amazing!!! Will tell everyone!!!

First experience was great, but was there Saturday night again and had a different experience. I was very disappointed with the service, my friends meals came out before two of us so by the time we got our steaks , the others had finished their meals. Two of us used the smoking area, and were locked out by security and he clearly saw us there but still locked the doors without telling us. The food is great but a bit let down this time. I'd still return as is has awesome food.

Great place to eat. Nice environment and amazing food service. Highly recommends to go there if you don't want to starve hungry. Please check their steak night deal. That will save your money.

Well well, this place gets better. Had fish and chips with a pint. Fish was tasty and the batter, not a fan of batter with spice but this has just the right amount without overpowering the taste of the Fish. The salad was fresh with a little hint of vinaigrette. Well done

We had our last night in Darwin before heading back to Brisbane. Call in for dinner and to watch the NRL Broncos v Storm game. It was no trouble for the staff to put the game on for us. Even the manager had a Broncos shirt on

You are always guaranteed an amazing meal at The Parap Pub. The service and menu is second to none, with great weekday specials. Last night my husband ordered 'Burnt Ends' and said it was the BEST pork belly dish he has ever had 🤤??'?🏽 We are now visitors to Darwin but love dining here for a meal as these guys never disappoint ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just moved to Darwin and have to say this is one of the best pubs we have gone to the friendly staff go above and beyond it's clean and tidy and the chefs cook a really delicious and presentable meal, best steak and barra THANKS PARAP STAFF

The staff make this place what it is. They are attentive, courteous and welcoming. We popped in for an after work beer and came back for dinner. They remembered us out of our dirty high viz and were happy to see us. I think I've been asked 3 times already if our steak is ok and we like our dinner. Highly recommend this pub!

First visit, specifically for mussel Wednesday nights. Didn't disappoint. Decor and atmosphere is a bit bland, but so far the food has made up for it. Friendly service, cold beer. Will be back to try more from the menu.

Outstanding!!! It was mussel night and we certainly weren't disappointed. Mussels done in Tom Yum. Flavour sensation!!! Great value $28 for 1kg. Happy bellies all round.
The staff are super friendly, especially Luke who was taking care of our table. The odd joke and great banter. Such a nice guy.

We were recommended to go and have a meal and drinks at the Parap Tavern and it was great!
I had a beef steak pie with caramelised onion and gravy on top with mashed potatoes and peas. It was awesome I loved every bite.
My husband had Barramundi and it was one of the best pieces he has had .
So all in all we had a great night at the Parap.

Just had a good meal here. As a Southern l would say it was as good as any of our suburban Melbourne pubs... and l didn't have to dress up!! Food nice staff efficient and pleasant and what's even better AFL was on the largest screen in the room.

I really don't like to leave negative reviews but when I pay $45 for a 300 gram steak I would expect it to at least be cooked how I asked for it. I thought medium steak was usually less cooked than well done. Not here apparently. Most definitely was not worth the money or the wait. Should've had the schnitzel.

We held my daughters 3rd birthday at Parap Tavern. All my requests were accommodated with no problems at all. Platters are well priced and came out at the requested time. The bar menu caters to beer drinks and cocktail drinkers (no judgement at children's party) drinks are always well priced here. If you are looking for a no fuss party for young or old that is close to home I would definitely recommend holding at Parap Tavern.

Always a delight. Good service, good food for a pub. Shriya serves the drinks and clears the table after our meal. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Had an amazing lunch today. The lady who served us (Shriya) was amazing. She was very friendly and helped us while ordering the food. Loved everything, will be back again.

No fuss, family friendly, our 'go to' for 'one of those days'.
Being new to Darwin, we gave this a go and have since become regulars. There's a good sized play area for the kids which is fully air conditioned as well (yes, the rubber mats smell of rubber as another reviewer has pointed out but I have encountered way worse). The tavern also provides very generous craft packs (stickers!!!) and kids meals. The lunch specials are good value, quick and of a reasonable variety.
The service is amazing - especially when Marta is in. I admit I rarely tip, but for Marta I do :)
Overall, it delivers exactly what it claims - a family friendly local tavern where everyone can relax - and not worry about the dishes.

It is a nice pub
A bit gloomy at night time, friendly staff at the bar and they have a bistro section where you can order food. They have a good selection of foods, the particular highlight for this particular event was the laksha festival. Slightly expensive but lovely presentation mildly spicy.
