Fantastic pub, good to chill on the grass or the deck overlooking the lake. $32 buffet dinner filled empty tanks after a long drive

Bistro is great value, really tasty, and has plenty of options. Great view. Clean resurant and amenities. Staff is super friendly. Loved it.

The view is nice if you are lucky enough to get a table on the balcony. The food was not good at all. The schnitzel was processed meat, like a big chicken nugget rather than real chicken breast. We also ordered crumbed lamb cutlets which were heavily crumbed, very fatty and way over cooked. The gravy was gelatinous. The battered snapper was dry and everything we ate tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Our table of 9 didn't feel good when we left. It's a shame because the place has so much promise with the view and lack of options in the area. Hopefully they read this review and try to do better.

Great view, but food was average. We ordered the chicken parmy and salt and pepper squid both of which come with salad and chips. I really enjoyed the side salad, it was the best part of the meal. The squid was pretty chewy, but tasted ok, however it reminded us of frozen crumbed squid. The chips were luke warm and lacked salt. Finding the entrance sent us on an adventure, but maybe that was just us. ? I recommend taking a picnic and sitting near the lake for the view. The food is generous, but not something I'd return for. Perhaps the burgers are better?

The Recky is a great venue situated on the southern end of Wallis Lake at Pacific Palms . Although I live in Sydney I have been a member & have visited the Recky on way too many occasions to recall over the last 20 years.
Facilities are well maintained & bar staff are very friendly. Bistro has plenty of choices on the menu . Tab area is excellent & the pokies are there if you want a sneaky bet on the side. The courtesy bus has saved us so many times and always an entertaining ride .
The recent renovations look great and the view of Wallis Lake at any time of the day is one of the best sights you'll ever see , particularly at sunset .

Delicious hot, yummy food!
Are everything on my plate and my partner and his mother also enjoyed their meals. Ordered the chicken schnitzel and the fish and chips and both meals were fantastic. The bar, however, charge an arm and a leg for drinks. Paid $30 for 2x drinks. Crazy.

Great location. Enjoyed lunch on the balcony on a beautiful day here. Had the falafel burger which is big enough for two. Others said they loved the Ceasar salad and seafood basket. After lunch, took some drinks from the club (just have to be unopened cans or bottles) down to the lake to enjoy. Will def come back.

Great large venue by the water, with ample room well thought out in terms of design.
ACCESSIBILITY: Full access for those in wheelchairs/walkers etc. There's plenty of on site and nearby street parking available.
The toilets were sizable and clean.
FOOD: 10/10. The snapper was fresh and cooked to perfection the kids meals are also good with a gluten free chicken nuggets and chips offering that weren't bad either.
STAFF: Absolutely lovely. Very friendly, attentive and efficient.
OVERALL: Highly recommend. If I lived in the area this world be a great go-to for large Birthday parties/work/family gatherings etc. With a large timber flooring section ideal for dancing and plenty of seating areas.
They have plenty of outdoor chairs and tables that overlook the water too.

Rainy night, had some beers, so rang the club to see if the courtesy bus was on. Spoke to Owen, no problem, collected us. In for roast lamb and veg at $15 for non-members. Great value, great service. Owen drove us home, allowed us to buy milk on the way and was the most friendly, accommodating person. Fully recommend Pacific Palms Recreation Club. Do yourself a favour and get there.

Great views of the sunsets here. Food and drinks are reasonably priced

The buildings are a bit tired but the three bedroom place we had was a good size. Full sized tennis court and a large pool all added to the stay. The location was good as well

Lake front club with Bistro which is family friendly. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady that assisted with club in-sign.

The menu has a good range of food, there was also a specials board and seniors specials available.

When ordering we were greeted by a lady that was happy to help. Our order didn't take long to come out at all. Hubby and I both got Rump Steaks. One well done and the other Rare. The well done one was perfect. The rare was more Medium-rare but was awesome. Definitely nothing to complain about with the food we received 😁

The bar staff were pleasant however while leaving the club the doorman just stood there and glared.

Customer service by some of the staff is appalling. Cameron who "greeted" our group was condescending and arrogant. When we were lining up to place an order at the bistro Cameron ordered us to wait outside and then proceeded to let others cut in before us. We ended up leaving as did many other customers who were equally offended by his behaviour. Aside from the lovely female bar tender some of the restaurant staff were disinterested and honestly looked like they hated their job. Such a shame as it's a lovely spot but they will continue to lose much needed business with staff that display such a poor attitude.

Myself and some friends had a lovely dinner here Easter Sunday and everyone enjoyed there meal

Beautiful sunset, food was ok and the beer was pretty expensive, 3 cans of craft beer was $27 but we are here for the sunset so pretty happy with that

Simple and effective, nice staff, ideal for young fams and balcony and grass seats were sweet.

Dropped my salad and they gave me a fresh one. Thanks for the hospitality!!
