We had a family birthday function on the Banyan Deck recently and it was brilliant. The platters were very generous and delicious. After the platters, we ordered from the bistro menu with table service. Our group was 24 people and our meals came out together, which was amazing.
Jocelyn looked after us all night and she was absolutely fabulous - she went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was happy and that everything was perfect. Thank you Jocelyn and NLSC :)

It's a well-equipped sports club with top-notch facilities. The quality of service is outstanding, and I've been a satisfied member for a while now.

This cafe is inside the North Lakes Sports Club. It's usually busy with many retired folks. The service was okay, and the coffee was decent. It was nice to have access to power outlets.

The atmosphere was awesome, food was amazing and reasonably priced. The place is spread out beautifully, where u can enjoy dinner with friends and family ,they have an excellent kids section to , then there is the sports bar and a pokies area ,a nice little Cafe set up to buy the sweets everyone loves and u join up as a member u get other rewards like a very handy courtesy bus that comes every hr on the hr . Highly recommend.

Nice little club. Went there twice during my visit this weekend. On Sunday I was there with a big group of friends. We all enjoyed our meals. Our waitress, Alura was lovely, and was quite happy to take a group photo on 4 or 5 phones for us. I appreciated it, asI am sure the rest of the group did. She was very friendly and helpful. On Minday, my brother and sister in law when back for a bite in the cafe. We again enjoyed our meals. Would recommend.

My Wife and I were at NLSC for Lunch today and we could not have asked for nicer staff truly.
My Pizza and my Wife's Frittata were above board in all aspects.

Visited North Lakes Sports Club for the first time to enjoy a group lunch.

My overall impression of the club was positive. It was bustling with people, had ample seating throughout, several dining options, a large and well-stocked bar, and plenty of pokies. If anything, parking may be limited during peak times.

We booked a table in the Banyan restaurant and, after being seated, had to wait quite some time to be served. The gent that approached us was very pleasant, although he didn't specify why he was there, so we ended up directing the conversation, ordering food and drinks at the same time.

The meals and drinks were promptly served, and our entire group enjoyed their selections. These ranged from my Seafood Risotto, an unusually cheesy yet really flavoursome option, through to a mega-sized pork belly, decent fish and chips, and an attractive home-styled lamb roast and veges. Our drinks were generic beer and softdrink choices, so not much to say there. They were cold and tasted good!

Once the meals were finished, we unfortunately sat and waited for an extended period of time, with no service offered at all. The table remained full of empty plates, no second round of drinks was able to be ordered, and dessert, which had been selected by those interested, also had to wait.

When the gent finally returned, I mistakenly presumed it was to do all of the above. Instead, he politely explained that they were closing in one minute, so could we possibly complete payment. I therefore told him we wanted dessert and had waited patiently to order these. Luckily, he was happy to oblige and, five minutes later, the Black Forest Panna Cotta and Tiramisu arrived. Both were enjoyed, although the Panna Cotta was much closer to being Chocolate Mousse. Still tasty but not what I'd expected.

Overall, the venue is spacious, clean-and-tidy, and offers plenty of drink, food, and entertainment choices. Meals and drinks met expectation but were definitely at the pricing high end. My mate's membership saved us $23, a nice touch.

Service was friendly throughout, but the lengthy periods of waiting, while watching 4-5 staff members roaming the area cleaning tables, setting tables, etc., was rather frustrating. This was the one big disappointment of our visit and the reason I didn't offer 5 stars. That being said, I'm willing to return another day to hopefully enjoy improvements on this front.

For a last minute organisation, North Lakes Sports Club were well accommodating for a group of 7, as our family have a bunch of birthdays around Australia Day. They had a table for 6 available with plenty of room to fit one more on the end.
There was even a comfortable sofa along the wall for those who wanted to just relax with their "cuppa" &/or enjoy a morning chat.
You go up to order your meals & when your meals are ready, you have been a buzzer/beeper that will go off, for you to go collect.
I ordered an Asian salad, unknowing it was spicy, & took it back. I don't think they've had anyone sensitive to spice before because they asked me what I wanted to do. I made a suggestion to swap for fresh salad I saw behind the counter with the exchange of payments & she absolutely filled a bowl for me, got a separate container for the dressing & then went to talk to the manager! He came out & confirmed it was spicy himself, even though he liked it ☺️ but he would bring over the difference in price & had to the menu that the meal was spicy! He even brought a fresh cup of milk, as my mouth/throat was still burning a bit.
I was so impressed with the service of this place I wanted to let everyone there know what just happened! But I know that would not seem socially acceptable! So here I am telling the World! 😁❤️ Outstanding service!

I was almost sick once the spice hit my stomach (I've had major issues with my stomach for the past year), but you can get takeaway containers & I was able to enjoy the rest of the ham salad when I was feeling better! ??'?

Food was average very expensive for the quality. Staff were usless I feel like the inmates at a jail get better service and quality of food then this place..
don't recommend going here and definitely won't be returning. Go to north lakes tavern instead at least you get nice friendly staff and good food!

Lovely comfy chairs, but it was oh, so almost impossible to get out from along the petition side for drinks, loo and most importantly to mingle. ☺️

First time here. Our group of 6 were starving after spending a couple of hours shopping at Costco from the Sunshine Coast. Was looking forward to a good pub feed. My 15 year old son ordered medium rare. Got this. Said I wasn't prepared to pay $37 for something I didn't order. Took 3 people to answer my complaint. They offered to make another meal. My 15 year old son was starving. I said he was happy to eat it, rather wait 20 mins for a new meal, plus adding extra time to our travel home. Supervisor said sorry if you eat it you have to pay. I responded that you're happy to throw it in the rubbish but if you eat it you have to pay. She said yes that's our policy. I responded that if i had to pay i would prefer a new meal for him to enjoy as per what we originally ordered. So we opted with a new steak cooked medium rare, however everyone had finished eating and drinking by the time it arrived. No discount, no sorry, no here's a drink on the house while you wait for your son to finish and enjoy his meal that we didnt get right in the first instance. Nothing. Won't be back.

Well after previously enjoying the Rib Special on a Tuesday night we were happy to invite close relatives to join us and share our pleasure with the food and service.
Well the service was great but the food ie Ribs were very ordinary.

After previously devouring tasty and moreish ribs we were surprished with ribs with no sauce and no flavour at all.

Beautiful place with nice live music on a Saturday night and plenty of free car parking spaces.

Waited way too long for food. Steak was extremely under cooked and inedible. Dining experience was awful, my birthday was ruined, and my in-laws were disappointment. Please do not make the mistake of going to this establishment. The staff were unfriendly and it really put a dampen on my birthday. Do better.

This club is a great meeting place for family outings & friends to enjoy a meal or a drink in one of the areas that this club has onsite.

I found the place to have a great ambience & the staff made you feel comfortable during our initial visit to this establishment.

Plenty of room to move around, enjoyed the Sporting bar area as well as the Gaming room which has a large number of pokies!

This club looks great, is well maintained & run by people who care about their community.

North Lakes Sporting Club has a wonderful undercover drop off entrance where people with disabilities can be dropped off with no fuss.

Plenty of open air car parking is available around the club outside premises.

I would suggest on busy occasions that you make a reservation in advance.

There is an excellent children's room available nearby the main restaurant 😀

A very good place to enjoy some quality time in the North Lakes community.

The food is great and portions generous. Having a kids club is an amazing bonus with game consoles, a playground, and many other activities to keep kids of all ages occupied. The service is beyond exceptional with attentive and friendly staff. The cocktails are also strong which may be a plus or minus depending on who you are. It was my birthday so definitely not complaining here.

The only smudge on the experience was the less than welcoming staff member who signed my two boys 3 and 5 into the kids club. It would have been nice with such young kids if they were actually greeted and a little warmth shown. It was uncomfortable for them and me as a first experience to be treated as an inconvenience rather than people. It was a shame as it was from the start so not even explained away that they were loud or difficult. Unfortunately, this led to them wanting out 3 times in the 45min they were there and not being keen to return. This might hinder us returning sadly.

Very good lunch at Crave Cafe. Must admit, pleasantly surprised on the quality. Had the steak sandwich and one of the best I've had. Chips were fresh and clean, and yum Mayo comes with. Nice atmosphere for a cheeky lunch during the week. Beer on tap crisp and fresh. It's definitely worth a visit. Enjoy!

Fabulous place for lunch. Took my parents there for lunch and it was well worth it. The food was really good, good size servings and reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere too. The staff were all super friendly and helpful - highly recommended.

Had high expectations of the Banyan Signature Reef and Beef. Ordered medium rare but it was more on the rare side for me which was okay. Didn't care for the bugs which tasted bland and didn't have any sauce. While the beetroot coulis was nice I would've must preferred chips & salad. It's worth joining to get a discount on food and drinks. Shout out to the friendly and attentive staff.

Great place with different spaces for footy, or dinner, or coffee or pokies or my wife's favourite part, the live music. We love watching the dueling pianos with a wine.

I've only been there once, and what I found was the staff are extremely friendly, and the food is delicious. Overall look of the place? inside is really pleasing to the eye, and is set out very well. It's a bit of a convoluted way to get to the place though, you'll need your Google Maps if you're not from the area.

Prepare yourself for a stunning entrance as you walk in! A incredible open plan dining and bar experience coupled with a beautifully natural wood look. Not to mention the food is delectably tasty

I'm a local and regular patron. I've hosted birthday parties, taken friends to events and eat here at least 3 to 4 times a month with family.. I have never had a bad meal... my grandkids love to go to kids fully supervised play area where adults can enjoy there conversation with confidence their little ones are being well looked after. Best of all is the full table service... love it.. ❣

First time at the club. Tried restaurant and meals were great! Would of liked to see a bigger range of meals. However, with staffing it is tricky. Decor is up to bar and the range of drinks is good. Great customer service, but would be even better if meal checks were done. But I would definitely recommend Norths Lakes Sports Club for a outing.

1st visit to watch the Fury v Wilder fight. Booked a table for Sunday lunch. Typical pub/club fare, enjoyed enough to return again and sign up for membership. Whilst not a deal breaker is there ANYWHERE in town that can actually cook a steak correctly ? Seems medium is par for the course for an entire city 🤣 Service was polite and friendly, even when under the pump ??'?

A very modern Club, with everything you would expect is there. I went there for a BBQ school and really enjoyed the club as well. Good sports bar area plenty of room with large screen TVs so you can see. Good range of on tap beer. Did have an opportunity to try the food but still what they were serving and looked very tasty.

Absolutely atrocious behaviour from the security there. Our sober driver was told he was over the limit and another member of our group were both cut off. The security guard then left and the waitress took our orders and cards for more drinks. The security guard then decided to come back and tell us that they had to leave after the fact. They were being completely sensible and it was a totally unwarranted behaviour from the security. Will never come back after this. It was a great night until that point. Facilities are great but the security guard was on a power trip. Our group of 7 will never be coming back. He wasn't reasonable at all

The club is very good. But as for The food that is served in the restaurant. It is not the best. I would not eat there again. The chef and catering manager need to understand the word presentation. They are charging top dollar for rubbish. The steak was edible. As for the rest of it. Mush for coleslaw Idaho potatoes swamped with sour cream chips overcooked And as for the salad. It was disgraceful.

Visited the sports club the other weekend and enjoyed the atmosphere and watching the live sports. I had ordered 2 rump steaks to which one was very good and the mushroom sauce quite nice; though the other was terrible. (You just couldn't eat it, just very chewy). Other than that enjoyed our experience

Great atmosphere. Good service, lovely restaurant and delicious food. Good variety for all tastes on the menu. Fair prices for food and drink. Live music is a bonus. Had a great evening.....again.

Really good experience! Venue is clean and looks top class. Food came out really quickly and was sensational. Tues night rib special is worth the trip. Highly recommend this venue. Only slight downer was the very loud and long announcements over the PA system. Maybe that could be quieter. Thanks for a great night

Amazing bar and service staff. Super friendly and efficient!Unfortunately on this occasion the steak wasn't all that great. Cooked to the requested medium on one side but very very rare on the other. This piece of meat and the others at our table were all full of grissle and were very chewy. Quite tough to get a steak knife though. Hopefully this was just a one off as previous meals here had been quite good.

Thankyou for the great day we had at my mums 90th birthday party today. The platters were amazing. Much appreciated. Only downside is my grandson fell in the play area and hit his head and broke his arm. The staff had said they would call to see how he was today but noone bothered. I also feel they should have immobilised his arm instead of just giving him an icepack before my daughter took him to the hospital. Maybe more 1st aid training would be a very good idea.

Oysters - couple bad tasters in the Doz !

However.

Food was served extremely quick for a large table and altogether! So can excuse for 2 bad meals out of 20

Called and left messages every day this week to make a restaurant booking, no one bothered to call back until today and naturally there are no vacancies available now. Obviously they don't want us as customers because it's really not that hard to answer the phone or return a call.

Edit: The online booking system only allows for group bookings of up to 10. We needed a booking for 20. The instructions on the website are to phone.
