Went here after a ten pin bowl next door at Manhatten Bowl.

I ordered a pizza as they have two serious looking pizza ovens that I figured would turn out a good result.

I opted for Pepperoni pizza at $25.

I was the last to order but first to reveive my meal so super quick.

It looks great. the crust is fluffy and puffy. It has that authentic look about it where the emphasis is on the crust, not the toppings. I bite in full of expectation, and it was initially nice, but then I couldn't help but think about what it lacked.

For starters, the pepperoni was not hot but rather tasted like salami...? It was mico fine sliced so as to cook quickly, appear to be generous and crisp up.

It was un offensive, and there lay the problem because they want to appeal to as many tastes as possible this would seem to have come at the cost of the Pepperoni which is a very basic pizza that needs the kick that chilli brings to what is just tomato base, mozzarella and the spicey sausage.

I tried the curry with Jasmine rice and found it to also be tasty, but...SAFE. There was no strong flavours or spice. This also had very dry rice like it had cooked on to the bowl used to shape it. Not fresh, soft and fragrant like you would expect.

Disappointing at the price. If you dont have very developed tastes for different cuisine or just feeding kids, it would be fine, but it's a pub full of adults!!?

Local pub bistrol with great vibes and a wood fire oven. I've been here a few times and it's a decent over all. Usually I would go for a wood fire pizza, the crust and toppings are all there, there usual Bristol food is "okay". There frozen bar drinks are great but cost over all is a tad bit heavy handed otherwise not too bad. Great vibes for after work or party in the beer garden. Yes dog friendly ? my only big gripe the apple crumble for $12is the size of a biggish bowel , I was expecting it nicely played like everything else ? so it was a minor let down, I'll sneak in after a few months and update later.

Nice pub at Rosebery. Atmosphere is ok in the beer garden.

The food has reasonable portion sizes for the price you pay and the wait is not too long.

The drinks are a bit pricey compared to other pubs or RSL. Eg, Corona where $10.5 and lots of other pubs and bars only charge $9.00. Some other imported beers were $15.00 and you can definitely be able to get the same drinks cheaper elsewhere.

If you're out for a quick bite or catchup with friends and family, it's an ok place to go.

Great local pub with an expensive beer garden. Great pizzas to have with your beer in the sun. Their apple crumble is also epic. Even better if you like sport, as they got it showing all day. If you're lucky, they may even have a band on.

Great friendly service is also to be expected here.

Had the rib eye, asked to be cooked medium, certainly wasn't that. Very fatty. Left a fair bit. Certainly wasn't worth the $55. The XPA had an off taste also. Love the hole in the roof too ?

Very surprised to visit the Newmarket Hotel and found that it has been revamped after my last visit before Covid-19, family friendly (including your four-legged friend). The courtyard has been fitted with 3 large screens for the avid fans who enjoy having meals while watching their favourite sports games ie foodball, boxing etc. The hotel is now very spacious, inside and outside in the courtyard. The staff are helpful and friendly, most specially a young lady named Debbie. The menu and the food are delicious with generous servings. They do have Special Menu for $18.00, but my favourite out of the menu is the Salmon with Salad. This was by chance the best salmon and salad that I ever had. I have also entertained friends to the food offering of the hotel, be it from Woodford pizza and the rest of the food on the menu. Yes, I will be coming back with my friends and family.1

What an absolute TOP FIVE Star menu and location . I strongly recommend the Lamb long Cutlets. My wife's dish the Murry Cod tasted like it was caught five minutes ago. For those real food lovers. New market is the place to experience great entertainment, outdoor seating the best wood fire outside of Italy location.

Went there for a work function. I had the 400g rib eye steak. It was so tender and not chewy at all. Perfectly cooked to medium rare, would definitely have again.

Only downside was the seating outside, it was a very hot day and they do not have any mist fans or anything to lower the temperature even though they had shades to cover the outdoor area.

Such a good pub, big, good places to sit. Awesome food and drinks. Staff are very kind and go out of their way to help you. The pizzas are damn good. The rib eye steak was heavy duty

A good local pub. Attended here with a big group of friends after going bowling upstairs. The staff were very friendly and service was quick despite the pub being quite busy due to a sports match. Got dinner as part of a package for me and my friends, including drinks and food and bowling. All the meals came out as ordered with no issues, meals were delicious.

Not your ordinary hotel meal. So tasty! Good presentation! Cool vibes!

Very tasty food. Pizza was delicious and I had one of the best lasagne perfectly done with a bit of crispy parts on the edges. It cane with a very fresh, beautifully dressed salad.

Also got to try my friends chips, so definitely will order some chips next time.

Service was good considering how busy they were when we got there. Reasonably fast service.

Loved the outdoor area. Very nice to be there on a nice sunny day.

Nothing to complain about with Newmarket. Great atmosphere inside and out in the beer garden. Great if its your local pub. Having the car park attached for customers is also very handy

After the renovation, definitely this place lifted up the game and really wish I could rate five stars. Almost every thing is perfect, the foods are fantastic, staff members were friendly too. The major downside is the male wash room is very congested and wasn't regularly cleaned at all. Perhaps they could renovate the wash room next. Otherwise fantastic food, great atmosphere as a true suburban pub ? ??'? ??'? ?

Great old local pub in Mascot. Good food. Lots to do. It's right next to the Manhattan Bowls centre

Large spacious venue, great for children, families and the outdoor beer garden is pet friendly. The food is fantastic too, weekly specials plus an extensive menu and some of the best wood fired pizzas in the area ensures there is something for everyone. Sports fans will be happy with all sports covered in many large screens throughout the venue. Great specials for members too. Highly recommended.

Great pub for a team get together. Been here now a fair few times for work functions. Pizzas are the best!! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Best pub food in the area, decent pricing and the plates are very generous.
Grand outdoor eating mostly younger crowds big TV screens for footy , indoors area is small so it focused mainly for outdoors.
Busy atmosphere, only downfall is the limited parking.

Really great food and super busy. Everything that comes from the pizza kitchen out the back is really great. We have tried the Octopus salad, lamb cutlets, pizza and fish specials and all fresh, really well cooked and quick to serve.

Good outdoor setting with a diverse menu. They should probably stick to ensuring the food is good instead of diversifying so much. My girlfriend had the salt and pepper squid and it wasn't very good. Neither was my beef and red wine pie.

I live technically 5 minutes away so no complaints whatsoever. The place is great as it literally has everything that you can imagine from a retro bowling alley to a good pizza place where you can have and friends over for dinner and drinks. It has a nice sit out which serves great wood fired pizzas and trust me they are yummy The music is also great as they play some nice techno stuff and house Their gambling arena just takes you a different world all together as its nice and pretty with great staff all through So place should be a definitely worth visiting Dont get too drunk and misbehave as the security guys are strict and you don't want to get in to their bad books as they are only doing their job. Otherwise they are super friendly and nice to chat too

A classic Sydney pub but with the best food. If you like a good wood fired pizza then this place has some of the best in Syd! Steaks are also great and they have a huge menu for all to choose from.The beer garden is great for kids, heaps of tables and shade and non shade areas.The front bar and back are divided so if you dont want to see the TAB section then you dont have to or if you like a punt theres heaps of space and big screens to watch the action.
