We were pointed to this pub by the owners of the caravan park if you were was looking for a drink and something to eat for the evening. Upon taking their advice we ventured down after a long day, and was more than happy with the cleanliness and friendly staff to pour you up a cold beer and I'll see you a great menu for tea.

Altering rating. When I managed hotels, we had a patron hook. If the bar took bistro orders, we would take the order before the bistro opened, allowing the patrons to use our establishments, tour the towns, plat our tab and pokies, refresh themselves at the bar, we also had the $5 note on the roof and the ring on a string. This being said, hotels that take orders at the bar, that refuse to take orders 40 minutes to half hour before the bistro opens, lose customers, the patronage will not stay and wait until the bistro opens, because they have ordered and paid for their meals, and have spent money in house during that time. The customers will go elsewhere. But, each hotel is different at retaining returning customers I guess. Food for thought.

Fabulous meal, beautiful friendly & fun staff.
It was a cold, wet day & we walked in & the wood fires were burning in both the bar & the dining room making it cosy & inviting.
A most beautiful lunch of creamy garlic prawns just made the experience even better.

Working at a Tourist Park, I'm always asked where a good place is to eat in town with a good atmosphere.
As my work is pet friendly, I always recommend this tavern as there aren't many pubs with a beer garden left.
I've never had a bad meal here, and I doubt I ever will.

Great place for dinner at Tamworth. Big meals and country hospitality. Would go again.

If you haven't been to this little pub just outside of Tamworth, you really need too.
Very busy lunch, little wait for lunch. But the BBQ Ribs are the best I have ever had so tender and the glaze is just amazing.
Bar staff are very friendly and the pub itself is very clean..

What an unexpectedly delightful pub. Very child friendly, lovely outside area, great little playground (could do with a little tlc) and great views.

Good Pub tucker and friendly staff. My husband had the caesar salad which was huge and he declared one of the best!

This place is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious and large portions for the price. The fire out the back is great to have a few drinks around whilst watching the kids run around on the grass. The staff are friendly and can mix amazing drinks. Thanks for a great night.

All 10 of us enjoyed our Sunday Lunch outing at the nemingah Tavern.
Fast and friendly service.
Great little outdoor area for the kids.
Only complaint is the poor chicken and birds in the cage had no food or water unfortunately.
Will be back.

A Great place to have dinner with friends or family. I chose the Cheesy Garlic Bread for Entree, it was an absolute pleasure to start my night. I then chose the Chicken Schnitzel with Parmi Topper accompanied by some gravy.
My eyes widened when my meal arrived, it was a massive schnitzel, bigger than I had seen previously. It was cooked superbly, had plenty of Parmi Topper, the salad and chips were great sides too. I will definitely visit The Nemingha Tavern again!

Meal was over cooked and burnt. And the one thing I really disliked was the amount of salt used. Meat salty, chips salty, sauce very salty, garlic bread salty, and even the sauce. Will not be back.

Lovely family atmosphere on a Friday night. Plenty of space outdoors under cover at the rear of the tavern and a large indoor dining area. Terrific spot if you have kids too. Playground area away from the street. Good menu. Solid pub fare well presented in a timely manner and well priced. Staff were friendly and welcoming even though are not locals.

Went there for dinner tonight - a mixed grill - and can't fault it. Food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was pleasant with maybe half the guests seeming to be from one of the local footy clubs because they all wore the same shirt.
In my tour of Tamworth area pubs, this one gets a big green tick and I will definitely go back and try some of their other dinner options - the cutlets look good.
