Very good experience tonight on the sports bar. Rob was our bar tender and was quick, friendly, efficient and he handled the busy rush of people very well. He was polite and made us feel welcome. If more pubs had a 'rob' working for them, those pubs would do a lot better. Rob is the person who makes the tavern feel like you're having a beer at home.

Last week for steak night the manager Stacey was absolutely amazing!
Without prompting she gave free rounds of drinks and a round of dessert as there was a longer wait than expected for food. Very professional and friendly!

We Celebrated my brothers 18th Birthday at Mount Sheridan Tavern. The venue was perfect. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The food was really nice, served in a timely manner and well priced. We all had a great night and we all look forward to our next celebration here.

Phenomenal service. Kazz and Corey went above and beyond to meet our expectations. Exceptional venue and plenty of promotions to keep the locals onsite. The food is outstanding with perfectly cooked steaks and all the traditional items you would expect from a high preform tavern. Highly recommend.

Food was amazing. Kitchen forget (missed our kids meal) and the staff couldn't be more amazing and sorting it out straight away. Right down to actually apologising to our Daughter directly, free extra juice and yum dessert. Definitely won us over.

We have been coming to Mt Sheridan Tavern for a few years now with our family and usually book a table for 12. Food is great and staff always friendly and happy. I'm writing this review now because Alicia was amazing last night! She helped make my daughters birthday celebration special. Thank you!

Staff were very friendly, but the meat part of my meal was a disappointment - I wanted a rare steak but it was closer to medium rare... it was also cold and had gristle running through it. It also was lacking flavour (yes, I am picky about the quality of a steak when eating out). On the other hand the other meals seemed to be what the other people at my table expected.

Love a good size pub schnitzel, this is your place. Fast and friendly service. Great kids meal deals, burgers were massive. Very accommodating with our 6mo, they heated up his food. Kid friendly + high chairs. Kids playground and wooden toys inside. Order at your table via a QR code, can open a tab and share or just do your own order.

Dinner was a huuuuuge chicken parmigiana it ended up too much to finish. I did try! Great tasty to the last bite.

Mount Sheridan Tavern offers an experience that can be best described as satisfactory. With its food and service falling directly into the realm of adequacy, it doesn't quite hit the mark of a standout destination, yet it does meet the basic expectations one would have for a tavern.

The food, while not extraordinary, was decent enough. The menu offers a range of typical tavern fare, and what I tried was prepared adequately. However, I couldn't point out any notable dishes that would make me crave a return visit. The flavors were fine but not particularly memorable.

Service at the Mount Sheridan Tavern was also average. The staff was polite and did their jobs, but there wasn't anything exceptional about the customer service. I didn't encounter any issues with the staff, but at the same time, there was no over-and-above effort that would make the service stand out.

In conclusion, Mount Sheridan Tavern is a solidly average establishment. If you're in the area and need a no-frills spot to grab a bite, it does the job. But if you're looking for a unique dining experience or exceptional service, you may want to explore other options.

Awesome meal awesome staff can't do enough for you, totally recommend

My wife and I came here for the first time last night. The beer on tap was the coldest I've had anywhere.. ever. The food quality was good and portion size was large. I can't remember the name of the lady working, but she offered to take a photo of the both of us when she saw us taking photos of our food, we did not expect this but it was a lovely gesture and made our night even better. We have another regular venue we go to a lot which we still will, but I think we will be dining here a lot more often after last night!

I would have given this place a 4 star, however there were just a few things that made me give 3 stars. Staff is lovely. Food leaves a little to wish for. Steak was super tiny at 40 dollars. Cooked as I liked it so no complaints there. The mushroom was watery and the chips were hot and and cold as if they had been mixed with cooled of chips. My friends potatoes were well overcooked, ribs were good. Could have been 4 stars with a few changes to the servings. Overall not too bad.

The first time I went here for a meal was 4yrs ago.
The food and service have definitely improved since then.
The dining area is a little small, and the lack of any soft furnishings make conversations reverberate which can be a problem if a noisy party is dining at the same time as you are.
The good was good though, and the staff were friendly.
Will definitely return.

Have to say, my partner and I came in for my birthday. We played in the gaming room for a little, James the young man at the bar was simply delightful. So well mannered and helpful, anything bad was negated by this young man's service.

Management, take note, help direct this man and he will help build your business.

Polite staff and excellent service. Food is of top quality, large servings. Would definitely revisit. No pressure from any staff for a sweet.

Couldn't offer the lasagne as it was an old special after we had paid and ordered through order and pay from table, management and staff were extremely friendly and offered to compensate for the delayed refund (out of staffs control) by offering a meal and drink on the house. Would absolutely recommend this tavern, their service goes above and beyond a great standard. Will be coming back on a more regular basis.

A hit and miss experience. First visit was properly amazing, with quality food and polite, friendly staff. Our second visit was, unbeknown to us, on $1 wings night; the quality of food dipped sharply (no, we didn't order wings) and the waitress was combative and unfriendly.

If you live in Mount Sheridan you should make this your local. You can walk to the pub and they have lovely staff. They have pokies, but they are not my scene. They serve nice meals as well and have specials that make it affordable.

My niece and I like going to the Mt Sheridan Tavern for dinner when it's just us hanging out. The food is great and the staff are awesome. Tracey makes the experience even better. Sometimes we are there for a quiet dinner to relax and sometimes we need a good laugh. Both are possible in the comfortable dining area.

Omg the best snichnittys ever!!!!!!
Cooked to perfection. I had the Atherton topper and it was amazing. Just the right amount of sauce and actually had real avocado (not guacamole paste) plus bacon. Hands down these guys do it right.
It was far too big to eat and I'll high 5 anyone who can do it.
Will be back a million times over. Thank you.

Had a great meal there staff were great from start to finish. Meal was huge and delicious.

We would like to congratulate the Rock Tavern restaurant for their service,food quality and plate presentation. The staff headed by Manager Tracey made our dining an experience of which all 16 persons in our group totally enjoyable. I advise anyone to experience good old fashion service and great food from this establishment. Once again,great work .

We recently had five nights in Cairns & spent 2 at the Mt Sheridan Tavern - first for State of Origin - staff were so friendly to our group of 12 NSW supporters - but the most amazing food was served! Corn fritters & Curry's were amazing - but everyone absolutely loved their meals- so much we went back for our last night! Definitely some of the best food we ate in Cairns - well done to Chef, Tracy & team !!

Great location for a quiet lunch or dinner, friendly staff, good and fast meals. Very family friendly staff always happy to warm up baby food and don't mind baby crawling around or the mess kids can leave behind.

Great SERVICE. We come straight from Lake eacham for quick dinner.
Hostess greeted the kids and showed them the playground straight up making it about them.
Food was great and fantastic. Felt like we were part of the Mount Sheridan family warm and cosy even sitting outside.

We rocked up without a booking and was seated straight away with friendly staff. We ordered through the app which was easy to navigate. The food was great and very filling. Tracey was very friendly and her energy was awesome. A pity we live in Victoria and can't come back, haha :)

Came down for a family dinner and the place exceeded my expectations. The friendly staff provided efficient service as well as excellent quality food. I was particularly impressed with the contactless ordering and payment options available to patrons. Definitely will be returning!

We often call into Mt Sheridan Tavern and have a meal. We find all the staff very friendly especially Tracey who makes sure that everything is as it should be and goes that extra mile to make sure of it. The service is excellent and the food is great.

I love coming here, especially on a Friday afternoon after work. Staff are very friendly. Tracey is a character and great to have a chat with.

There is an old saying, that you can't comment or improve on perfection. Tonight's dining experience at Mt Sheridan Tavern, is truly one to remember. Tracey, as our waitress, was extremely attentive and absolutely amazing with the kids. The chefs out back in the kitchen, produced some amazing food this evening. Prices were extremely attractive and the atmosphere made this experience something to repeat in the very near future. 5 star service, 5 star pub comfort food. Thanks to everyone at Mt Sheridan Tavern. We will be back very soon!
