Got a steak sandwich, normally really good. Tonight it\'s not toasted, the steak is only on one half of the sandwich and the chips are overcooked.

I stayed here for 2 weeks a couple of months ago and enjoyed it.
The reason I dropped it to 1 star is because I just tried to call to book the family room and was asked if I had kids which my reply was yes. I was informed that children are not welcome because they have had kids running a muck up stairs before.
This is Disgracefull! My kids are quite young and very well behaved. Some of us parents still teach discipline and respect.
It\'s ironic that you would build a kids playground downstairs but don\'t allow children to stay in the hotel. I am in disbelief.

Lydia and her beautiful restaurant crew took care of our unexpected large table booking and never a worry for her and the dining team, great food and efficient service and a credit to this place. And also, great dinner and desserts (thanks Chef). Lydia is a gem and an asset for this little country town ??'?

The chicken sandwich was ok, and the chips where really good. The things i that bumped down the rating was the ants on the table, aswell as the prices. Most meat servings like a rump, was around $45 and they where out of a few things on the menu. I also found that the pizzas are a hit and miss. Would reconmend just not the pizza.

Food was OK and vibe was great from patrons although the older lady in the restaurant was sour faced and unfriendly which made ordering anything uncomfortable, sometimes a smile or basic manners can be a world of difference.
