I was out looking for a boy day out I called in and had 2 quick schooners off toooheys old it was very enjoyable and will call again ?

Pretty rough and miserable place. Perpetually has drunks hanging around outside yelling at passers by. The new LED billboard they installed outside blazes like the sun in the nighttime, pretty trashy. I think it's bad for the reputation of mortdale. Penshurst hotel has a much better bistro too

Only interests is the games room ?

The manager was rude, poor customer service abilities, beer tasted metallic and she just gave us an attitude without even assessing the situation.

Guinness beer doesn't taste like Guinness. Customer service at the bar is so poor. The manager will never reed the situation before giving your money back together with a bad time.

Need new staff the one's that work there now are rude .
The owner needs to get rid of the staff and get a ppl that are helpful and rude.

One staff member picked up on a person in our group as being drunk, and kept asking if we were buying drinks for him when we came to the bar. They believed he should be cut off. He was tipsy at best, and was simply distracted by a bet he was watching on his phone, however the close observation and concern for our safety was appreciated and after explaining, all went back to normal.

This is the first pub I have seen do this, and I greatly appreciate it.

Possibly the best pub in all of St. George.

Very strange! Not even a bit drunk and they don't serve drinks. Just seeing faces and being racist or what? I do have my RSA as well and I know what reponsible drinking means! Owner can please check the camera and explain me why I'm not allowed to drink. I went to talk with manager as well but he doesn't even wants to listen what customers says. According to RSA, if I'm even drunk, I should be asked if I want to drink water. Very strange place!!!! Manager don't have his RSA RCG I guess. I'm playing slot machine and enjoying but the manager on 27/04/2022 - very strange and not allowing drinks.

This place stinks. It's like a giant ashtray.

It's close to public transport. So I guess it has that going for it.

Good place to have a gamble to have a drink with friends and play a little pool.

this pub used to be a hell of a lot better. main bar is now just an annex to the pokie room. bored, disinterested service for the drinkers and zero atmosphere. will seek schooners elsewhere.
