To start, we understand bistro is owned separately to the RSL..
Steak was cooked okay.. veal parmigiana okay .. and unfortunately that's where the positive part of review ends.. ordered 3 meals, only one came out as ordered, the person taking orders didn't come across confident when asked about gluten free .. was told chips (& salad) should be fine.. then a different person asked the chef and they said to avoid .. it turns out the person taking order and the chef are one and the same person. The menu only had one item on 4 pages marked GF.. barramundi.. which I cannot eat white fish, but besides this not a lot of people enjoy. My point is these days there is a large percentage of allergies including gluten free (coeliac) that is catered for, including gravies. This should be reviewed, especially when Services Club is recommended by motel for meals.
